Not Great

The story is ok, but it’s not the most original concept. I have an issue with the way the author (a man) writes about women, especially those who to not conform to conventional beauty standards. I find his misogynistic descriptions of some women to be particularly fat phobic. Also, although it really not for me to say, but his portrayal of some black characters strike me stereotypical at best and a bit racist at worst. There are definitely much higher quality YA books available.

good

Completed book 21 - still have 38 more to read. I hope somewhere in this series Sienna finds some type of peace and is not always close to death. It’s had to read sometimes what her body goes through. Also I hated that the story line thus far had her absorbing the President - hope in the remaining books in the long run it’s useful to her. But at present I hated that part and as a 24 yr old, she is sooo alone.

Another good read

Very enjoyable easy to read. Annoying double entendres that don't quite work and always explained...but other than that looking forward to the next lot

Cannot stop reading this series. Pretty darn good. Now on to the next in her series. Series sounds ridiculous. A girl with super powers but somehow it works.
