I especially liked the descriptions of 'consolations' and 'desolations' in prayer. They do describe feelings I've had but never recognized as coming from God OR from the evil one. Short and helpful. Lots of prayers to choose from at the back.

A terrific book that should be subtitled: Tips for living in the presence of God throughout the day. Daily prayer is necessary and Father Watson tells us how we can keep God at the forefront of our mind as we go about our day. A short little book but there is much to be gleaned.
