I Love the Word Impossible
To Ann Kiemel, the most important thing in life is love. Whether visiting a frightened child in a hospital, or helping a worried friend learn to pray, or sharing her Christ with the businessman sitting next to her on a plane, she believes in soothing her neighbors' wounds with Christ's compassion. Ann's infectious enthusiasm for day-by-day living with the Lord communicates itself to every life she touches - and yours will be touched for good as you read this sparkling manifesto from Ann, one young woman who dares to challenge impossibilities in Christ's name.

So many of her writings spoke to me!
I've never heard of this woman, but she is certainly talented.
She writes in a combination of poetry and prose and it is very beautiful.
She talks about her love for Jesus and how that impacts her life.
Very inspiring!

I love Ann Kiemel for her ostentatious piety, her avoidance of capital letters, and apparent certainty that if she writes books saying how humble and blessed she is, people will want to read them. Not just that God is great, but that she, Ann Kiemel is humble, did you hear me, HUMBLE! (Also that she drives a Porsche, the inclusion of which detail struck me as perhaps contradictory to the nature of her mission.)

What a lovely book this is. I've been a fan since the 80's. I've read all Ann's books many times, but I don't own any of them anymore. Here's the thing: One of her early books contains her grandmother's chocolate chip cookie recipe. I used to make it regularly for my boys when they were little, but I lost it somehow. It's unique. I remember it includes canned milk and baking powder. It makes a really puffy, cake like cookie, and it's a large recipe so you don't have to double it. It was my favorite chocolate chip cookie! So every Christmas I'm reminded of that recipe, and I besiege Google, hoping against hope that it has made its way online. It hasn't. When I realized some of her books are available on Kindle I decided to download them. It isn't there. But I got to revisit some of my favorite books from when I was a young Believer. They are just as wonderful now as they were then. If any of you know where that cookie recipe is, please let me know in the comments. It's been driving me crazy for ten years!

Ann Kiemel is a good story teller who besides telling her own story tells the story of Jesus in relatable, simple ways.

I was given this book while I was in the hospital when I was 16. It changed my life. I had never heard anyone talk about how real their relationship with God was to them. I wanted that kind of relationship with JESUS. I found HIM. Impossible doesn't exist with HIM. Some call me crazy but I have walked through many impossible situations with Jesus by my side. Now 38 years later I still believe that I can face anything with HIM and that anything God gives me to do is possible!!!!
