"Visual Jiu-Jitsu" The Art of Memorizing Techniques" is a very clever book title, because I became curious and interested in the new concept although I have never tried Jiu-Jitsu. This is a groundbreaking guide for students of Jiu-Jitsu, but for any students who want to improve brain muscle memory and learn to use excellent study guides like linking stories and note cards. It even discussed Einstein's brain and learning about inner genius about other projects or subjects you are interested in. I am unsure if I could learn Jiu-Jitsu in record time, but it sounds quite convincing. It offers insights from chess grandmasters and memory champions to prove its point. For Jiu-Jitsu students, you may be able to elevate your training, transform your mindset, and become better faster than you ever thought possible with this guide. Should try it!
Some good memorization techniques. However, if you don’t learn BJJ from an online course most of these techniques are not functional. Especially if you (as the author suggests) are expecting your coach/professor to write out their 10-20 years of teaching on paper, for you to then be able to follow these techniques (need to frame the house before you finish building it, just like the approach to these memorization attempts). The author’s inexperience in BJJ shows time and time again in this book as well.
A creative way to memorize jujitsu techniques. Very insightful and instructional. A few illustrations might've been more helpful to get a clear picture of moves.
