All he has to do is steal it from under the noses of an ancient reptilian race that make the Laosorans look like choir boys. It might not be easy, but it’s the only shot they have to keep the Home Fires Burning, in the pulse-pounding conclusion to this rip-roaring galactic adventure!

A great ending to the series, and more of a return to the heist planning origins. But the ending, man, not cool. No spoilers but made me cry for a bit. I was happy for the epilogue to see how they're all turning out and I can envision them off doing galaxy space travel stuff

GREAT ending for a fun series! HOME FIRES BURNING has everything the previous volumes have and much more. Kai continues to blossom intellectually and emotionally while trying to save the world. I loved the ending (even with one big tearjerker) and would enjoy seeing what comes next.

A nice wrapup of the series. I think that this whole series would make a great movie or maybe a television series.
