THE INTERPRETATION OF THE SPANISH GUITAR
This book is about how we have interpreted the function of the Instrument
I am presenting in this book a sequence based on period by period, all those achievements and milestones that happened in Spain where all that took place and was at the origin of the relevant developments and changes in the instrument, showing one by one the principal ideas of the instrument makers, the instrument players and composers.
All through 1200 years since the arrival of the Persian Lute in Spain but documented musical facts only 500 years, the aim was focused on improving the instrument to create a better sound quality with the idea to produce beautiful sounds, colours, different tones and dynamics all those resources put together with expression for the Spanish Guitar players to express their feelings and Philosophical thoughts, through the strung plucked musical instrument. All these documented facts are shown as evidence for my case and are displayed here as parts of the whole with no narrative or descriptive intention.
