Sisters in Paradise #3

Coming Home to Paradise

Rate this book
All seven sisters are finally home for Christmas, but can the last two find love like the others?

As Endora Simmons plans her Christmas wedding, she's delighted to have her last two sisters, Rae and Bo, finally back in Spanish Fort, Texas. Endora figures if she keeps them busy, they won't have time to think about leaving again. So, Endora talks Rae into teaching Sunday school. As a former police officer, surely Rae can corral the rowdy kids into making Christmas decorations for the upcoming pageant. No question the most high-spirited (uncontrollable?) kids in the class are gorgeous, rugged Sheriff Gunner's twin daughters.

Bo helps out by taking over the community Christmas program. She's also been working with Aunt Bernie on her new venture, a monthly speed-dating night at a bar just over the river in Oklahoma—and boy, does she have her eye on that handsome bartender. With all the Christmas preparations in high gear, will Rae and Bo still find time to fall in love?

Hi! I'm twenty five years old and movie star gorgeous. The camera added thirty plus years and a few wrinkles. Can't trust those cameras or mirrors either. Along with bathroom scales they are notorious liars! Honestly, I am the mother of three fantastic grown children who've made me laugh and given me more story ideas than I could ever write. My husband, Charles, is my strongest supporter and my best friend. He's even willing to eat fast food and help with the laundry while I finish one more chapter! Life is good and I am blessed!

Reading has been a passion since I was five years old and figured out those were words on book pages. As soon as my chubby little fingers found they could put words on a Big Chief tablet with a fat pencil, I was on my way. Writing joined reading in my list of passions. I will read anything from the back of the Cheerio's box to Faulkner and love every bit of it. In addition to reading I enjoy cooking, my family and the ocean. I love the Florida beaches. Listening to the ocean waves puts my writing brain into high gear.

I love writing romance because it's about emotions and relationships. Human nature hasn't changed a bit since Eve coveted the fruit in the Garden of Eden. Settings change. Plots change. Names change. Times change. But love is love and men and women have been falling in and out of it forever. Romance is about emotions: love, hate, anger, laughter... all of it. If I can make you laugh until your sides ache or grab a tissue then I've touched your emotions and accomplished what every writer sets out to do.

I got serious about writing when my third child was born and had her days and nights mixed up. I had to stay up all night anyway and it was very quiet so I invested in a spiral back notebook and sharpened a few pencils. The story that emerged has never sold but it's brought in enough rejection slips to put the Redwood Forest on the endangered list. In 1997 Kensington bought two books for their Precious Gems line. Two years and six books later the line died with only four of those books seeing publication. But by then Avalon had bought a book and another, and another. Ten years later the list has grown to thirty nine. Last year Sourcebooks bought the Lucky Series which is in the bookstores now. They've also bought The Honky Tonk Series which will debut with I LOVE THIS BAR in June and will be followed by HELL, YEAH, MY GIVE A DAMN'S BUSTED, and HONKY TONK CHRISTMAS.

Folks ask me where I get my ideas. Three kids, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Note: I was a very young grandmother! Life is a zoo around here when they all come home. In one Sunday afternoon there's enough ideas to keep me writing for years and years. Seriously, ideas pop up at the craziest times. When one sinks its roots into my mind, I have no choice but to write the story. And while I'm writing the characters peek over my shoulder and make sure I'm telling it right and not exaggerating too much. Pesky little devils, they are!

I have a wonderful agent, Erin Niumata, who continues to work magic and sell my work. I'm very lucky to have her and my editors who continue to believe in me.

Happy reading!

EXCERPT: Nine whole days of FREEDOM.
Beau kept repeating five beautiful words to herself - nine whole days of freedom - when she awoke to the smell of bacon and coffee floating up the stairs and into her bedroom. Tomorrow morning it would be the aroma of cinnamon that wafted up to her bedroom. Lots of things changed with time, but not her mother's special Thanksgiving and Christmas Day breakfast sweet rolls.
People changed. She thought of her youngest sister, Endora, and her messy breakup a couple of years before. She had always been such an outgoing person, and after she found out her fiancé and her best friend were sleeping together, she went into a deep depression. Now she was engaged to the local preacher and had turned her life right back around.
Dreams change. That brought on a sigh when Beau remembered the dream she had chased for ten years, and finally gave up a few months ago. She had gone to Nashville right out of high school and thought she would be the next big country star. She found out really quickly that she wasn't the only young girl in Tennessee who wanted to sing for a living. A decade later, she finally gave up and came back to Spanish Fort and now helped her great-aunt out with her advice blog and speed-dating events business.
'What are you thinking about?' Her twin sister, Rae, peeked into her bedroom. She was wearing an oversized t-shirt from the police department, from where she'd worked in Boise City, Oklahoma, for several years.
Beau sat up and inhaled deeply. 'I was thinking about how things change. We can always depend on Mamma's cinnamon rolls on Thanksgiving Day. That never changes.'
Rae sat down on the edge of the bed. 'What has changed?'
'All seven of us sisters,' Beau answered.

ABOUT 'COMING HOME TO PARADISE': All seven sisters are finally home for Christmas, but can the last two find love like the others?

As Endora Simmons plans her Christmas wedding, she's delighted to have her last two sisters, Rae and Beau, finally back in Spanish Fort, Texas. Endora figures if she keeps them busy, they won't have time to think about leaving again. So, Endora talks Rae into teaching Sunday school; as a former police officer, surely Rae can corral the rowdy kids—the most high-spirited being Sheriff Gunner's twin daughters—into making Christmas decorations for the upcoming pageant. She's also been working with Aunt Bernie on her new venture, a monthly speed-dating night at a bar just over the river in Oklahoma—and boy, does she have her eye on that handsome bartender. With all the Christmas preparations in high gear, will Rae and Beau still find time to fall in love?

MY THOUGHTS: First off, I haven't read either of the two previous books in the series, but that didn't negatively impact on my enjoyment at all. There is enough information given so that you know where everyone is at, but not so much that it is overwhelming.

Coming Home to Paradise is a charming small-town story that makes it clear that what we want in life isn't always what we need, and that when one door closes on our dream, another opens. We just need to be brave enough to recognize it for what it is and walk through it.

The spirit of Christmas clearly shines through in Coming Home to Paradise. There is a Christmas pageant, a Christmas parade and carol singing amongst other festivities. I would just love to see the Paradise homestead all decorated up, inside and out. It would be a sight to behold. I would love to be part of their family gatherings. For the Simmons's, family is everything.

This was a fun read. I loved the banter between the sisters, and the way they would run interference for one another when great-aunt Bernie got on the warpath, trying to dictate to the girls who they should be seeing and who they shouldn't get involved with. I admit to wondering occasionally if she was using reverse psychology on them!

Of course, you know when you pick up a Carolyn Brown book that you are inevitably going to get a happy-ever-after ending. The journey to get there was fun.

I combined reading and listening to Coming Home to Paradise by Carolyn Brown. Frances Anderson narrates the audiobook and, although I prefer Tanya Eby's narration, I'd still be pushed to pick between the audio and the print.

I received a free copy of, Coming Home to Paradise, by Carolyn Brown, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book three of three in The Sisters in Paradise series. Endora Simmons is planning her wedding, she is at such a good place in her life and she hopes two of her sisters Bo, and Rae will help her, and maybe find their own love interests. Such a nice story, I liked the characters.

The last two Simmons sisters to find their way home after leaving to pursue their dreams arrive in time for the holidays at the old Paradise where family and new friends know how to be festive. With warnings from feisty great-aunt Bernie NOT to fall in love, it might take a bit of sneaking and contrariness- traits Aunt Bernie has in spades- to find their happy.

Coming Home to Paradise is the third in the Sisters in Paradise series following an important prequel novella also set at a Christmas time when the girls were young and first came to the old Paradise Brothel. This is definitely a series that works best in order as the seven sisters find their way to happy, but I think a reader could squeak by picking this up out of order if they really don’t mind encountering several characters who already got their story.

Like the earlier books in the series, Coming Home to Paradise hones in on two of the sisters who have returned home, not finding what they were looking for out in the big, bright world. This time, Bo and Rae, the older set of twins have shucked Bo’s dreams of a Nashville music career and Rae’s previous police patrol deputy job to start over with family nearby.
Bo still loves her music and would love to find something that involves that and Rae is considering taking up her secondary degree and working with kids.
Aunt Bernie, the matchmaker, pointedly instructs Bo to stay away from that hottie bartender drifter and Rae not to get tangled up with the widowed local police chief and his hellion twin girls. But, the heart does what it wants.

Another easy read, low-angst, comfy country holiday charmer from Carolyn Brown hit the spot for a good holiday read, but another strong entry in the Sisters in Paradise series. I was a little sad that this series was finishing after getting Mary Jane and Joe Clay’s story first and then the girls, but Carolyn Brown slipped in a surprise at the end that promises maybe to add more and she was already planning a historical to tell the story of the Paradise when it was a working establishment back in the day.

Bo and Rae are great characters and I enjoyed getting their story told in an alternate narration. They had dreams that fizzled out, but neither are too down about it and were open to new possibilities. The family group and the love interests along with all the holiday activities made this a full and fun book. Those who like easy-going small town romance should definitely put this series on their lists.

I rec'd an eARC via NetGalley to read in exchange for an honest review.

Coming Home to Paradise is the 3rd book in the Sisters in Paradise series. There are seven Simmons sisters who were raised at The Paradise, a brothel turned into a home for their mother and her girls. The fifth sister to find her match, Endora, is planning her Christmas wedding to the local pastor. Rae and Bo, the last two sisters to find their match, are back in Spanish Fort, Texas for the wedding and the holidays. Endora doesn't want them to leave, so decides it is best to keep them busy. She enlists Rae to teach Sunday School, specifically a group of children including a pair of unruly twins. Handsome Sheriff Gunner is the single father of the girls and it doesn't take long for the attraction between him and Rae to come to light. Bo is talked into helping with the Christmas Pageant. She is also helping her Aunt Bernie with her new venture, a monthly speed-dating night, working with the handsome bartender, Maverick. They also have an attraction, but he is a wanderer and Bo is ready to settle down in Spanish Fort. Will these couples be able to get together for the Christmas holidays?

I really enjoy this series and the Simmons family. These sisters are all wonderful characters, loving and loyal sisters, all with a great sense of humor. Endora is trying to do it all being a future pastor's wife, but finally comes to realize that she can't and needs to ask others for help, thus Rae and Bo helping with the Sunday School and the Pageant. This book shares their love stories, although neither sister is looking to settle down. Rae has returned from several years trying to make it in Nashville, and Bo has been a cop for ten years in the city and is tired of it. Great Aunt Bernie is off on a cruise, so can't do her matchmaking, but she does tell Bo to stay away from Maverick, knowing that he has no intention of sticking around. This was a great story, with laughs, some exasperation, wonderful characters and a festive setting. There is a great Christmas surprise for all that occurs the night of the pageant that is wonderful and a perfect ending for this book. I hope we get more stories about the Simmons family. Frances Anderson narrates this story and does a wonderful job with the characters voices, the tone, expression and pacing. I recommend this holiday romance in whatever format works for you.

I gave this book 4.5 stars.

This series is set in Texas, it is centered around Christmas, it is an easy read, clean romance with characters you can laugh with and enjoy. They all have quirks that make them even more likeable!

I have really enjoyed this series. If you like clean romances with lots of opportunities to laugh out loud, and getting to really know all the characters in a series, this one is a really good series for you.

This book will not be available until October 1, 2024, yes, I know that is a long way away, but it gives you time to read the original book that started it all “Trouble in Paradise” and then the first two in the “Sisters in Paradise” series!

I read the Author’s notes and she does state there will be a spin off from this series to another book, I am hoping she keeps writing more about this family, I love them that much! I will be watching and waiting for the next book to become available to me!

Keep up the good work, Carolyn!!!

Thank you to Edelweiss and the publisher for my advanced digital readers copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Sarah Vane has recently concluded an art class, a new hobby she is pursuing alongside her friend Daphne. Intrigued by the absence of their geriatric model from the class, Sarah visits his residence. Upon knocking on the door, she receives no response. As a retired physician, Sarah seeks a peaceful existence, but her recent encounters have not been conducive to this goal. Consequently, visiting the man’s home may prove to be a necessary step.

Sarah notices that the door is partially ajar. Peeking inside, she discovers a distressing scene - the octogenarian, Mr. Williams, has passed away. While the initial assumption of suicide appears plausible, even upon the arrival of the police, Sarah remains skeptical. She personally believes that Mr. Williams would not have taken his own life, prompting her to delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding his demise.

Sarah’s investigation leads her to uncover Mr. Williams’ unusual hobby, an exceptionally peculiar pursuit. This revelation prompts Sarah and the police to consider whether Mr. Williams’ peculiar hobby could have served as a motive for his apparent murder. Tragically, another victim is discovered shortly thereafter, and Sarah becomes convinced of a connection between the two victims.

Cozy mysteries are a genre that I hold in high regard, and this third installment in the Sarah Vane series exemplifies the genre’s charm. The book features endearing characters, intricate mysteries with unexpected twists, and promises of further installments that solidify its place as one of my favorites.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Thanks to NetGalley, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and the author for the chance to read this.

This story grabbed me pretty quickly, and I found it easier to follow the characters than I did with book 2. I loved watching the sisters find their love interests even though it was established very early on who they would end up with. The Christmas aspect is perfect for reading in the leadup to the festive season, too.
I'd love a follow-up book as this one ended up with a bit of a bombshell.

I'm so sad that this is the last book in the Sisters in Paradise series, but alas, we must move on. This entire series makes you feel like a part of the Simmons family from beginning to end, and that's the perfect feeling to have when you love a series so much.

Rae and Bo are the last two sisters who aren't in a relationship, and that's just fine with them. They both came back to Spanish Fort, Texas, to figure out life and what they wanted for their futures. Life has a funny way of working out just as it should, which means catching you off guard sometimes.

Aunt Bernie is hell-bent on the two sisters not falling for Gunner, a local police chief and widowed father of a set of twin girls, and Maverick, the local bar manager who doesn't stay in one place for long. She failed to take into consideration what may happen while she's away on a cruise. Bernie has a way of making people think one thing and then taking the credit for how things work out even though she protests and makes her feelings known the entire time. She's a fun character and speaks her mind no matter what.

This series ends with a twist that I didn't see coming. Never, not once. I'm going to miss the Simmons family and Aunt Bernie. This has been such a fun series.

Thank you, Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca, for this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Coming Home to Paradise by Carolyn Brown is, sadly, the last book in this series, about seven daughters returning to the home of their youths, which turns out to be a refurbished bordello in a small town in Texas. The great-aunt Bernie lives in a trailer out back and has dedicated herself to finding husbands for each of the girls. So far she is five for seven with the fifth wedding schedule for March. But, before she can turn her sights to matchmaking for Bo and Rae, fraternal twins, she is going on a cruise with her friend. Panning to be back before Christmas, she can find them husbands then. Until then she has given strict orders that Bo not even look at Maverick, which is going to be hard as she has also assigned Bo to decorate and coordinate a meet and greet for elders in the bar in which he is the manager. She says he’s no good because he’s a wanderer who will leave and break her heart. She didn’t think that would be a problem until she saw him.

This has been such a fun series with Mary Jane (Mom) and Dad, Jo Clay, stepdad, really, Aunt Bernie, and all the sisters. They have problems but no so serious that they can’t make light of them and move on. They are bringing the town back to life. Bo has been working for Bernie who has a matchmaking service as well as an online advice column. She is looking forward to a few days on her own. Rae has spent the last ten years being a cop and she is done with that, despite the fact the chief has already offered her a job. These are all interesting women, not in a hurry to settle down until the right man appears. Surprising they are all here in small-town Texas. What a fun series this has been and this is a terrific finale. It even has a surprise at the end! Fun!

The last of the Simmons sisters, Bo and Rae have come home to Paradise and have to figure out what to do with their lives. Their sister Endora is marring the local Preacher and they are helping her out with some things at the church and her wedding. Bo is working on the Christmas Pageant, and working with Aunt Bernie and Rae as taken over the the six yo nine years class at the church and to work with two little girls who are twins and no one else seems to be able to handle them, except for Rae, who is also a former police officer. And the Bo also has to work with the manager of local bar on a singles night for seniors, who happens to be a good looking fella and does not seem to want to settle down in one place and Rae when she meets the twins father, the local sheriff, she thinks maybe their is more than her liking his kids, she likes him too. If Aunt Bernie has anything to say about neither of these men are right for her Paradise gals. After all she is the matchmaker of Spanish Fork, TX...

With all that is going on in the Paradise homestead, lots of family meals, Christmas, the wedding, Mary Jane, Joe Clay and Aunt Bernie keep all the gals and their spouses and babies coming back home to Paradise to spend the holidays.

When I read the first page of any Carolyn Brown book, I know I am going to have a wonderful read. This book is not exception. This series has been so much fun to read and catch up with Simmons girls and their parents and Aunt Bernie. It's always like coming home to old friends and the fun and laughs and love they all share. All the happy endings in Paradise will give you a warm feeling of joy reading this book. Lots of surprises await the reader too.
Knowing that there are wonderful stories in the future from Carolyn Brown keeps me a happy person. This book deserves more than 5 stars.

Rae left Spanish Fort to try her hand as a cop. Now she’s moved back home but doesn’t know what she wants to do. She has her teaching certificate, so she decides to give teaching a try. Gunner is a sheriff with two young daughters. He lost his wife years ago and now he’s ready to try dating again. Rae ends up being the teacher for Gunner’s kids and they realize that they have a lot in common. Can they blend their lives together to make a lasting relationship?

Bo went to Nashville to chase her dreams of being a professional singer. She came back home after 10 years with no idea what she’s going to do next. She would love to find a way to continue to sing but Spanish Fort is a small town, so she doesn’t know if it’s even possible. Maverick works at a local bar as the manager. He is a wanderer, so he knows he won’t be around long. He happens to be a pretty good musician. He wants to leave, she wants to stay. Can they find a way to blend their budding relationship and their love of music to make a happily ever after?

Let the Christmas spirit take over because all of the girls are back at The Paradise for the holiday! This is a feel-good small-town family romance. If you want a book that is full of nice people being nice then give this a try. I strongly recommend reading this series from the beginning. Each book is about two of the sisters and their love stories but there is also a little history of the family sprinkled in each book along with a whole bunch of their beloved Aunt Bernie (honestly, she’s kind of wasted in this book but I might be biased since I love her shenanigans). There’s a little twist at the very end which made me smile. I will definitely read more from this author in the future.

Rae and Bo, the last of the twin sisters, have returned to Spanish Fort. Endora is still at home, busy with plans for her spring wedding to Parker, the pastor. Rae, a former police officer, is uncertain about resuming her law enforcement career. Holding a teaching license, she contemplates becoming a teacher. Rae inherits Endora's Sunday School class and learns she'll be teaching a pair of mischievous twin girls. Their widowed father, Gunner, struggles to keep up with the energetic seven-year-olds.

Bo has given up on her singing aspirations after a decade in Nashville. She encounters Maverick, the new manager and bartender, and there's an instant connection, although he's known for his wandering lifestyle. Aunt Bernie, who's on a cruise, entrusts her business to Bo but cautions her against getting involved with Maverick.

With Christmas approaching, the Paradise is being festively decorated, requiring everyone's participation. Gunner and Maverick are enlisted to assist with the preparations.

Endora, overwhelmed by the thought of a spring wedding and her future role as a minister's wife, opts for a surprise wedding immediately following the church's Christmas program, orchestrated with Rae and Bo's assistance.

This book offers another charming glimpse into the lives of the Paradise family, showcasing Carolyn Brown's exceptional storytelling.

Coming Home to Paradise is the third book in Carolyn Brown’s Sisters in Paradise series. In the first book of the series, Christmas in Paradise, all seven Simmons sisters have come home for the holidays, beginning with Thanksgiving. Also, their Great Aunt Bernie has moved back to the Paradise after decades of running her own honky tonk bar on the other side of the Red River. Bernie has come with her trailer and chihuahua Pepper and has the prime directive of seeing her great nieces matched to their perfect loves with weddings and children to come. In the second book, Sisters in Paradise, Aunt Bernie has made predictions for two of the girls for the year to come. And she isn’t wrong!

In this third book there are only two sisters still unmatched, but that only makes Aunt Bernie more determined. Unfortunately for twins Rae and Bo, Aunt Bernie is determined to match them as well but equally as determined to thwart the sisters from pursuing the men that interest them.

This story is set from mid fall through Christmas Day with some built in surprises until the very end. The characters are well drawn. The setting is described to perfection. And the story organically develops. I have very much enjoyed this book as well as the series and do recommend this book.

This is the part of the Sisters in Paradise series and can be read as a stand alone. Paradise is the name of the family home that once was an old brothel. Seven sisters were raised there and are now grown. It is time for the last sisters to get their romances. Rae is a former police officer and is contemplating a new career using her teaching license. She takes over her sister Endora’s Sunday School class and meets Gunner, a widower. Bo has returned from trying a singing career in Nashville. She meets Maverick, who is the bartender and manager of her aunt Bernie’s bar. Bernie asks Bo to oversee the business while she is away.

If you read the previous books like I have, you can catch up on the happenings of other family members. Wedding plans are in the making as well. These books are family centered and are closed door romances. It includes folksy wisdom, warm Texan y'alls and of course a little meddling from a matchmaking aunt. I find them enjoyable and like getting two romances in each book. I think they will delight fans of Carolyn Brown and new readers too. Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

The final two sisters out of seven have returned home. Both are trying to discover a new direction in their lives. Rae an ex cop and Bo who had hopes of launching into a singing career in Nashville. Plus there are the ongoing stories of the other five sisters and let’s not forget Aunt Bernie! Rae backup plan is in early childhood education and puts it to use as a bible school teacher when she meets twins that are more than a handful. Being a twin herself and having sisters who also are twins, she definitely has an inside of the tricks they will try to pull. And when she meets their widowed father there is magic in the air.
Bo is grateful to be working for Aunt Bernie, even though she is driving her nuts with her matchmaking warning to stay away from Maverick, the new bar manager a town over. Not sure if it’s true or reverse psychology but sure is a good looking man.
Love this sweet small town story with the Christmas spirit! Do read the other two books, they are all clean romances with family values and a busybody Aunt Bernie.
Thank for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

Coming Home to Paradise concludes Carolyn Brown’s wonderful series about the seven sisters raised in a house that originally was a brothel called The Paradise. Bo and Rae are the two girls left who have yet to find their forever loves, Christmas is coming and Aunt Bernie, who fancies herself the family matchmaker is leaving on a cruise. Before she leaves though, Bernie has some very strong opinions about the men Bo and Rae have only recently met…and that is a huge NO on both of them! This reader adores Bernie because one never knows if her objections are valid or if they are her way of pushing a relationship. This is a story about possibilities, filled with Christmas cheer and a couple of big surprises. Carolyn Brown always is a must read author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

Thank you NetGalley, Sourcebooks Casablanca and Carolyn Brown for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my second Carolyn Brown book and I connected with the other one much more. This was book #3 in a series but the only one I’ve read.

This book focuses on the two remaining single sisters out of 7 - Bo and Rae. They’ve recently come back home and are trying to find their new direction in life and their matchmaking aunt is trying to find their future husbands.

Much to Aunt Bernie’s distress, they find connections with the last men she would pick for them.

Overall, the book was cute enough but the style of writing was not for me. It was third person and characters were often talking out loud to themselves or to Aunt Bernie when she wasn’t around and then imagining her response. Just a strange way to move the story along.

Coming Home to Paradise by Carolyn Brown has the sisters nearby each other for Christmas. Endora Simmons is planning her wedding, she hopes two of her sisters Bo, and Rae will help her. She has found a great love with Parker, a pastor. Even more than helping with the wedding she secretly hopes the twins will find lasting love too. This is as much Rae’s story as it is the wedding story. She falls for another set of mischievous twin girls, long before she fall for their widowed father. A lovely story of how sometimes life can repeat itself.

Carolyn Brown knows her character sisters as well as writing realistic, sassy stories about them. Part of the Paradise Series but you can enjoy Coming Home to Paradise without having read the entire series yet.

Coming home to paradise.
Carolyn brown.

Simply a perfectly written story,
Western and frontier romance.

Paradise is home to everyone. Everyone is family and there are no strangers. So many laughs and hoots. This story is absolutely sweet. I will say my favorite parts are with aunt Bernie. And boy does she mean business. Christmas is also my favorite time of year.So this is a perfect setting for this story.

You simply fall in love with each character. Each couple, the story is just perfect.

I haven't read a book by this author that I absolutely have not fallen in love with.
Carolyn brown Is one of my very favorite authors I love her work.

Bo and Rae are the last of the Simmons sisters to find love. Will Aunt Bernie, the matchmaker work her magic to find them a mate or will they do it on their own. Once again the author wrote a family romance with lots of shenanigans to make you laugh. A great finale to the series although I would have liked a more definitive ending. All in all another wonderful series from the queen of Southern romances .

Although I received a free ARC from Net Galley and the publisher the opinions expressed in my review are all mine.

Coming Home To Paradise is another small town romance by Carolyn Brown. The latest book in the series has Aunt Bernie trying to keep the last two of her nieces from getting involved with men whom she feels are the wrong choices for them . Bo and Rae both find them falling for the new men in their lives anyhow.
This is a cute holiday romance that is full of new beginnings, new romances and all the love and headaches of big families.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for a copy for my honest opinion.

Unable to hold my interest.

Twin sisters Rae and Bo are the last unmarried sisters. Bo remembers chasing her dream of a music career for ten years. She’d gone to Nashville right out of high school and thought she would be the next big country star only to discover rather quickly that she wasn’t the only young girl in Tennessee chasing that dream of being a singer.

A decade later, she finally gave up her dream and returned to Spanish Fort, helping her great-aunt with her advice blog and speed-dating events business.

Wonderful Read

Absolutely love this series. Trouble in Paradise was the first book I bought when I received my Kindle so I was thrilled when Ms. Brown recent made into series. Seeing how all the characters have grown into young women. Rae, Bo and Endora the only three at home after returning from different places and different careers. It is a beautiful family full of fun and with all the sisters and Aunt Bernice who claims to match everyone up. I can't wait for the next one. Thank you Ms. Brown for extending this into a series.

Carolyn Brown is always a good read for me. Her books are often like comfort food. I love her family sagas, with the growth and evolution of the cSoemharacters. The sisters from the Paradise are linking their lives with partners good and, maybe not so good.

They live in a small, almost disappearing town in Texas. Every body knows everybody. They are often related. Family members set standards...hard to follow in this changing world, and the sisters navigate their ways through the standards to create good lives and grow.

This is the first book I've read in the Sisters in Paradise series, so it took me a little while to figure out who was who. By the end of the book, I felt like part of the big, growing family. It's always nice to visit Texas again and soak up the local flavor. The twist at the end of the book makes me think there might be a spin-off series coming. Thanks to NetGalley, Sourcebooks Casablanca and the author for an advance copy to review.

2024: COMING HOME TO PARADISE by Carolyn Brown, Sisters in Paradise Book 3

All seven sisters are finally home for Christmas, but can the last two find love like the others?

Once again, Carolyn Brown creates sassy but lovable sisters, wit and wonderful family dynamic in COMING HOME TO PARADISE. This story will warm your heart. I received this ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.

I have loved this series by Caroline Brown. I was excited for this book and even more excited to get an advanced reader copy. Following the 7 girls in the family getting married, starting families and careers have been fun.
I felt with this being the last book there was so much going on, trying to wrap it all up in a bow. That made this last book my least favorite. Despite that it was a lovely send off to so many characters in Paradise.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.
