With the unresolved issue hanging over her head, Morgan sticks with her plan, and she and her best friend Quinn head north, ready to start the next chapter in their lives.

Easton Island stories are page turning reads with a Michigan setting, small town dynamics and a bushel of family drama.
Book 1 – Looking Glass Cottage
This Michigander was delighted by the name of the cottage The Looking Glass, its history, the mention of Michigan beach glass, and intrigue of the international element with its close proximity with Canada. This retiree believes many workers (especially in the hospitality industry) feel like Morgan: It had been a long day, a long week, a long year. In Chapter 10 I enjoyed the analogy of unwrapping a present inside a present. “The task of unwrapping each layer held a joy all its own…. Think of this place - Easton Island, as one of these gifts. You unwrap one layer at a time, eagerly looking forward to the gift but knowing each layer holds its own special moment."
Book 2 - The Letter
Morgan Greer returns to Easton Island to help her half-brother Brett in the family business, solve the mystery of the reclusive resident in the off limits north wing at the family estate, and investigate the shenanigans of Brett’s Ms. Fancy Pants money grabbing girlfriend – liar, liar pants on fire- Jenna Cavendish. Questions from Book 1 The Looking Glass Cottage are answered, plus some foreshadowing of what is yet to come. Art, a letter, a rescue dog, small town life, the secret resident of the north wing, plus loyal staff Ben, Jax, and Mrs. Arnsby makes for a delightful fall read. A page turning who dun it mystery, with relatable characters, twist and turn plot, and a believable resolution as Jason reaps the consequences for his actions. Easton Island: Family Saga Series Box Set (Books 1-3)
The storyline is very interesting, captivating. The characters are interesting and complex. Callaghan has a way of telling a story that draws you in from the get go. Many of the situations described could easily be experienced in real world; though finding out you have inherited such a vast amount of wealth and relatives that your mother left behind when you were an infant and started a life without the finer materialistic lifestyle once experienced. Also, why didn’t the grandmother insist on being a part of their lives. Since Laura took the child and relocated to a different part of the US it would have been easy to locate them. There were a lot of twists in the storyline that made it interesting.

A family reunited
This set of books how different injection of 2 set of famous families had different views and caused a lot of heart breaks. Till 2 of the grandkids found out about their dad and mom left them an island to run together. So much could be said about this set of books that will put you on edge and can't put down. Will have to pay to get the other books for have to see what happens to these families, a great set of stories to keep you turning the pages.

Great Read!
I have to see what happens next! Another new author for me. A story of love, great loss, family and friends. A pleasant diversion from today's unpleasantness, it's nice to get involved in other people's lives and hear their stories and wonder and dream!

Easton Island, I want to go
The story flowed and the characters were believable enough that I would like them for friends. The island descriptions were amazing! I want to live there. The story moved along and kept my attention.
