I had no idea that it was very a powerful nerve. I remember when I was studying and how it was mentioned with the trigeminal nerve as well at the same time how one could use the vagus nerve stimulation to stop seizure- I just couldn’t understand how these human parts were connected until I read this book and learned that the vagus nerve is large and an afferent nerve
