I learned a lot about John Taylor, the third President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a life-long member of this church I knew snippets from his life, but now know more.
The only thing about this book that gave me pause was the author editorializing throughout the book. That part was faith promoting (for me) but seemed misplaced in a biographical account of President Taylor’s life.
