I had heard some much about this series and I was afraid to read it just in case I did not like it because I really enjoy this author. However, I loved it and read all the books back to back.

Another great series which I enjoyed very much. I would highly recommend it.

Lala and her man totally did my head in though and I think it takes a special kind of woman to stand by this particular man!!!!

Honestly for the last book in the series I was a little disappointed. Dutch was the same guy he was in all the books. I don't know why Gina thought she couldn't handle him anymore. I mean the presidency was over so they are now able to enjoy their life together and that's great. But at the same time it's different. For me this book was good. It could've been better. For the final installment I think Mallory could've given me a little more. I wanted to be able to say I'm going to reread this book over and over because I loved it so much. That didn't happen. That doesn't mean I didn't like the book. I did. I just felt that it was missing that certain umph to it that I usually find in her series.

WOW!!! This was a good Series. I LOVED DUTCH & GINA. In this last installment we saw Gina and Dutch really go through a serious relationship trial. I was a little pissed with Gina and her attitude and behavior regarding her marriage. Yes Dutch did make a decision regarding her wellbeing, but her reaction was a little too over the top. (If she only knew half the shit Dutch did for her and to protect her). DUTCH is truly GANGSTER.

That Jade is something else. She is definitely certifiable. CRADER IS A HOT ASS MESS. I Love him. I would love to see what these four characters appear in a few of Ms Mallory's future books. (Other than just the Tommy Cabrini series).

All and All it was a great read.

WOW!!!

What an explosive end to an amazing series! I was laughing my head off when the three fools, Max, Jade, & Sam, did themselves in. You had to laugh about the irony of it all. The saying did say...while digging my grave, dig one of in this case...there for yourselves, 😀👍🙏. Perfect ending. Loved it!

Roller Coaster

I recommend this series, this couple had everything in the house thrown at them, without a decent break in between but they were loyal to each other and yes a heaping helping of love sealed their fate. Be loyal to each other and support each other and the years will add up.

😌😌😌

And they lived happily ever after!!! And the evil doers got their come-uppance!!! Yay.
Though,,, I would like to know how they pieced it together so quickly about the bomb being meant for Gina? Was it because Jade's phone call and the explosion? Hun,,, guess I'll never know. 😏

Hot Dam

Thoroughly enjoyed reading every single one of the series. Too bad it’s finished. all
8 books where worth the money . I will be reading these many times more . well written , read like a movie from beginning to the end .
I literally could not put book1-8 down . Not even . How Loretta and Crayder deserve their own story.

This final book of the series was great! All loose ends were tied up and the three evil doers, Max, Sam and that whiny Jade got what they deserved. Loved the vowel renewal between the two couples. Little Walt has been a joy throughout the series since his birth. Dutch and Gina's love always wins out!

Disappointing end. Seemed rushed when so much more could have been fitted in. Weak ending especially for the max storyline and the jade one

They keep trying it!

When will these people learn to leave Dutch and Gina alone? But they keep trying to bring them down no matter what. It all deals with jealousy. They hate the relationship that Dutch and Gina have. Jade wants to be Gina and so does her mother Sam, and Max Brennan too. All for the love Walter Dutch" Harber. Those three get their just desserts in all of that scheming. Revenge is a dish best served cold but that scheming backfired on them.

What almost brings their marriage to an end is not outside forces but internal. Gina is really upset that Dutch kept some critical information from Gina. But, a lack of hope causes Gina not to be able to give the help she would have normally done, but that was snuffed out before she knew about it. Dutch believed he was protecting Gina when she was recovering from her half-brother's attempt to take her away from Dutch. This was their biggest blow-up in all of the series. Dutch was blown by how she took the news. He realized that he lost the trust of the only woman that mattered to him, and it scared the hell out of him. Trust and communication have always been critical in their marriage and Dutch messes that up with one mistake. All of this is going on with Jade's debacle too. Dutch thought their life would be so much better now that they were out of the fishbowl of D.C. What is their saving grace is little Walt. He's so cute and perceptive about what is going on with his parents.

LaLa and Crader are LaLa and Crader. They appear to be doing just okay, but will LaLa continue to just accept Crader's driven hard work and dedication to the presidency?

All in all, Gina knows she has a good man who all the ladies want and she gets her act together and opts for understanding and forgiveness. She can't fathom the thought of her living a life without Dutch.

NOTE: My favorite passage. “Let’s get one thing straight,” she said. “There’s not a universe that has ever been discovered where you get to denigrate my husband, on his plane, in front of me. I understand you love your brother and you’re concerned about him, I get that. But don’t think for a second that you have my permission to disrespect my husband. You don’t. Nobody does.”

Monroe, Mallory. The President's Girlfriend 8: Dutch and Gina: For the Love of Gina (The President's Girlfriend Series) (p. 161). Austin Brook Publishing. Kindle Edition.

“No, Dutch. Don’t promise me anything. You continue to make decisions for this family based on what you believe is best. I can’t allow you to second guess your decisions or feel you have to consult me when you believe you’re protecting me. All I want you to do is to protect me and your son. And yes, your daughter too. Protect us. Look out for us. And I’ll look out for you. That’s the only kind of man I know you are. That’s the only kind of man I want you to be. The day you take off those pants and hand them to me, is the day I kick your ass to the curb. Understand?”

Monroe, Mallory. The President's Girlfriend 8: Dutch and Gina: For the Love of Gina (The President's Girlfriend Series) (pp. 255-256). Austin Brook Publishing. Kindle Edition.

“No, baby,” she said. “You don’t have to recommit anything to me. You’ve always been committed to me. From the moment you said you loved me, and asked me to be your wife, to this very day, you have given your everything to me. So no. This is not a recommitment ceremony for us. It’s a continuation ceremony. Because if you continue treating me the way you’ve been treating me all the years we’ve been together, then you will have given this woman the greatest life I could have ever dreamed of having.”

An Incredible Ending to an incredible Series!

The final book in The President's Girfriend series, "For The Love of Gina" was intense, deep, drama, heartbreaking, betrayal, unconditional love, reconciliation and recommitment. From the first page it was on heart pounding and through the story with all of what Dutch and Gina have gone through (and they have been through it) this phase in their lives practically pushed them over.

Dutch Harber straight up Alpha male and former President of the United States is all man. A man who wholeheartedly loves and protects his family to know end. A man who personifies a gangster and have killed on behalf of his family. So Dutch leading his family was never a question or to be questioned for that matter but with his take charge attitude, he now finds himself in unfamiliar territory, he finds himself in a place where he may lose his family.

Gina Harber committed wife and mother to the Harber men, former First Lady of the United States is all woman. She is the quintessential ride and die chick for her man and has no problems tangling or killing in the name of family. She loves Dutch to a fault, she follows his lead, she is a submissive wife (and that is because she trusts him completely), she has been through the fire and came out on the other side, She is very sexual with her husband but at the same time is in danger of losing her marriage.

Old family secrets, crazy family members, old enemies, marriage upheaval, lies, deception and blackmail caused this final story to be one heck of a ride that you didn't want to get off of. Dutch made a decision that he truly believed was the right one at the time for Gina's sake which created a catalyst that he never saw coming. Gina discovers she has a brother and she also learns that Dutch knew about it but never told her. What I loved about this was that the fight was now internal, their enemies where always external but now the fight was between them pitted against one another. It was painful to read and at times found myself holding my breath and chanting please let them make up and not break up. And if that wasn't bad enough Dutch's crazy daughter Jade was still up to her old tricks, she is In a psychiatric hospital and still plotting and scheming to get with her dad. Her mother Samantha who I now realized where Jade got her lunacy from was just as off as her daughter. Still making excuses for her craziness and began plotting and scheming with her daughter as well.

An old nemesis makes an appearance stil held bent on revenge against Dutch his former chief of staff Max, who has upped the stakes to bring Dutch down. Crader who is the best friend of Dutch and now The President of the United States and his wife First Lady LaLa are struggling to keep their marriage and family together. Little Walter is growing up and now in kindergarten (Dutch and Gina's son) and little Nikki (Crader and LaLa's little girl and besties with lil Walt) is growing up too.

In the finale of book 8 it will not leave you disappointed, you will be taken on an emotional ride of your life that in the end will leave you exhilarated. You will definitely be sad because Dutch and Gina's story comes to it's conclusion but I can promise you this the author did not disappoint her fans. Author Mallory Monroe has left us a series that we can reread with pleasure and never tire of the power couple that is Dutch and Gina.

What a way to end this series, with a boom. I think, for the most part, all parties reaped what they sowed. That being said, I think Dutch and LaLa are dead as wrong with how they greet each other. What friends do you know that continuously kiss on the lips whenever they greet each other. I don't ever remember a mention of Crader and Gina greeting each other that way. Gina and Crader are crazy for evening allowing that to happen. I wasn't with that at all. I think Dutch needs a new CFO for Harber Industries, Lenora needs to move on. I don't think Christian got his just due. He should have ended up with a new love. I loved this series.

Okay love the book by the end, but I was pissed off for most of the read. First it was still so many people tryin to come between Dutch and Gina it got sickening, then Jade crazy pass was in love with her own dad. Was willing to kill her stepmother again just to have him, and silly mama was goin to help her. The Gina has gotten mad at Dutch before, but not this much. So she was working my nerves too, but in the end they got they life right.

I have been a big fan of the President's series and the finale did not disappoint. The love that Dutch and Gina demonstrated throughout the series came full circle, inspite of all who tried to destroy them. I love the finale but sad at the same time that it's ended.
