What a beautiful short read to understand what should history mean to us and how we should learn from it.

4/5 super duper relevant. Why do wars happen in the first place, why did the US just attack venezuela? This book offers answers and postulates. The authors even even observed Prole Drift, the phenomenon where a poor, unfortunate majority influences the wealthy minority. How they dress, speak, what trends are hot, music, etiquette. etc.

They describe the past as a celestial city with the brightest minds in all fields living in it. It is neutral, so is science. Humanity has been progressing. Light and Dark.

The Past is an incomprehensible river of souls.
