About the author

Natoshia has had a fondness for writing since she was a young girl, sitting with her mother at the computer as they created fantasy worlds full of adventure in short stories. Flash forward to today, and she is still sitting far too close to the computer screen as she types away. But now her stories are a little darker, with a pinch of excitement and a touch of spice. She has written a little of everything, from brooding mafia men to the paranormal, and now the monstrous side of books. When she’s not reading or writing, Natoshia is spending time with her husband and their two children, or her beloved cat Chunky. Her favorite colors are Morally Gray and Red Flags, which is reflected in every new character she writes. She hopes you find a beautiful escape within the pages of her books.

THISSS BOOOOOOK!!!!!!!!! We met Jared in Our Darling Isabelle ( interconnected standalone but I do recommend reading ODI first ) and I knew immediately that I needed his story!!!!! And what a story he had. And LUNA …. Perfection.

There are so many things I want to say but that would give to much away 😏. This book was so good, so sexy, it was perfect. This is a book I will think about for days to come

Good But Not Great

I was so happy that Jared got a book because I really liked him in Our Darling Isabelle. This book was short and spicy. It had things I liked and things I didn’t.

I loved getting to see more of Isabelle, Markus, Alec, and Amelia. I enjoyed that Luna was curvy, feisty, had her own goals in mind, was tough, and she never gave up on anything she wanted. I think she was the perfect match for Jared. I like that the subplot of Our Darling Isabelle carried over to this book.

Here’s what I didn’t like and there are possible spoilers in this so read at your own risk: the book felt fast for the majority of it but then after the hospital scene it just kind of dragged on. Luna had mentioned something about having kids and even specified it being plural, but then in the last chapter or two, she acted as though she didn’t want any. After the hospital, Jared kept pushing her away and saying it wouldn’t work, and then abruptly he brought her to a house he had built and said it was their home….there was no talk about their feelings or why he suddenly had a change of heart or anything. Luna just accepts it and that’s it. Then there was no epilogue which kinda bothers me. There were issues of tenses changing repeatedly, sometimes in the same sentence or paragraph. Words misspelled, incorrect words, etc.

It was a good book, but not great. Felt rushed in some places and dragged in others. Then the inconsistencies with the characters and their feelings weren’t great. Hopefully, the next book will be better and won’t have the same problems.

Jareds Redemption is an interconnected standalone written by Natoshia Baer. While it is not required to read 'our darling isabelle" first, it is strongly suggested as there are some spoilers. Natoshia is an amazing author who writes books that have a trigger list that could make any dark romance reader blush. Mafia romance? Masked men? Kidnapping? say less. sign me up. That being said, please check your triggers before reading either book.

We meet Jared in 'our darling isabelle' where we fall in love with him and instantly want more for him. This book is his story with his love interest. Jared knows he knows her, but doesn't know how. They meet as they are targeting the same man for different reasons. Luna is very hard to get and flighty while she also has a sense of humor and mouth that could make a sailor blush. I LOVED HER and her wild personality. We really see her character unfold and we also fall in love with her in this book. Jared deserves the world, but will Luna let him have it?

Natoshia has quickly became one of my favorite authors of the last two years. She is a dark romance staple. She deserves more recognition and she has found herself to be on my instant buy list. This woman could write a one page letter annnnd i HAVE to have it. I hope that everyone realizes how amazing she is one day!!!

Short read but so good. We also got some cameos from "Our Darling Isabelle".
Jared and Luna are so freaking cute. Sparks sure fly from the minute they meet after Jared gets tackled by Luna.
They have a person of interest in common. Jared is determine to find out why Luna was so set on sabotaging his target. He is very attracted to Luna but he needs to know what is her connection to Steffen.

I received this book as an ARC, Jared’s Redemption is a stand alone dark mafia romance. Even though you don’t have to, I would recommend reading Our Darling Isabelle first. It’s was so nice to get glimpses of the original characters, while still following Jared and Luna! Loved watching the characters growth. I don’t usually love books that are pure smut and this is the perfect balance of spice storyline. Cannot wait for book 3!!

First, I want to thank the author for giving me the opportunity of ARC reading this book :) Fast paced books usually aren’t for me, but this one captivated me and was amazing. I finished it in 3 hours. I loved the fmc, she was so strong. Also, the found family trope in this book >>>>
“Touch her and I’ll kill you. Our alliance be damned.” When I tell you I had to put my phone down and take a lap. It was a fun, short, and spicy read, I can’t wait to read more from this author!

ARC Review:

I'm a sucker for mafia romance books and Natoshia does so well with this type of writing! This story was a fun continuation of the world she created and allowed previous side characters take the spotlight. Luna is a spitfire and I love it. But I guess you gotta be a little wild if you're a mafia girl. I hope to see more of all of these characters. And maybe with Luna holding a baby of her own 😉 overall a great read!

I absolutely loved this story. The FMC was my favorite character. She made me laugh a couple of times by her actions. This story is not a funny story. It’s a dark mafia romance. Also, an interconnected standalone but I do highly recommend you to read book one before diving into this book. Both characters are possessive over each other and I loved the mask spicy scenes. We also have an age gap, curvy female character, FMC stalker, touch her and d*e, k*dnapping, etc. I definitely recommend this book. If everything I mention sounds right up your alley of course.

I received this as a arc. It a standalone but recommended to read Our Daring Isabella. Natoshia Baer did a fabulous job with the storyline with the original characters and the story of Jared and Luna. The story line is a dark mafia romance with the spicy is out of the world. I can't wait for her other works. I will be rereading this and getting the book. I'm glad I got this as arc.

Jared’s Redemption’s was a fast-paced dark mafia romance. It is part of the Barone Brothers series. However, I did not read Book 1 and could follow it without a problem.

Read the TW/CWs; there are plenty of them. Luna is a strong FMC, which I love, and well matched for Jared. They are both going after the same person. There’s plenty of conflict, action, and well-written spice.

Mafia romance

I always enjoy books from this author I love the MMC and MFC in this book super cute and spicey grumpy and sunshine reader. This is book 2 in the series but can be read as a stand alone. I recommend reading the first though this is where we meet Jared I loved him in the first book, and I'm so glad he got his own story.

I loved their relationship from the minute she ran away from him the first time haha how sassy she is with him but 100% able to take care of herself still is something I aspire to be. I love me, a good dark mafia romance! This book was really good, and I enjoyed the characters so much. This is my first book by the author and I will definitely read the 1st and the 3rd book when it comes out. I loved that Luna was a strong FMC but also soft and realistic. I love that Jared made her feel confident and cared for her in such a short amount of time.
I felt like the book was rushed a little bit in certain parts. Within a couple of chapters Jared hated her then loved her and never wanted to let her go. Which I loved, but I just wished we saw more development and backstory from these too. But overall the story was amazing and I enjoyed reading it! A great quick spicy read!

I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC of this book.

Omg I devoured this in less than 8 hours. I love this story, I am obsessed with Luna and Jared’s relationship. I cried and laughed and gasped. I wish we saw more of the growth that Jared goes through, basically on his own in like a matter of 2 chapters. He went from not wanting her to love him because he was afraid of hurting her to surprising her with a house. It was a bit out of the blue ish for me. But overall I loved this book!
