Finally, make sure students come prepared to class by assigning our many "e-book activities." With McGraw-Hill's digital tools, focus on what you do best--teaching. "Unique to this program, SOC 2013 uses extensive research to meet students where they are, by providing an appealing, affordable and current program." This book really had everything I needed for Sociology 101 in my freshman college year. Can't really rate on the questions, quizzes, or tests, but for content this is a great text to turn to. Every topic has a real life example that is easy to understand and relate to. I would recommend this to any person interested in sociology as a hobby. Not sure if I could recommend it for a current course as it is most likely out-dated.

My students really enjoyed this book. They reported that it was easy to read and relatable with relevant examples and references. A couple even said they would you reading ahead and covering chapters that weren't assigned.

pretty heteronormative for a book that came out in 2018 lmao. “cohabitation is between a man and woman in a sexual relationship” shut up

Excellent book! Straight to the point with lots of examples and movies for reference. It is styled like a magazine, which is a neat idea but the book takes a lot of wear & tear. I had to use the internet to delve a little deeper on some subjects for school though. Overall, a good read:-)

This serves as a great introduction to sociology. Even if you think you don't like sociology it actually addresses real life problems with interesting perspectives.
