“You and me, Marigold,” I reply and return her smile. “You and me, Sunflower.”
Within the first few pages I was crying happy tears and knew I'd be a gonner again this book. Aricka Alexander knows how to pack an emotional punch woven with such wholesomeness and a big dash of spice!
I love following Autumn and Winter's journey through falling in love, taking a leap and growing their family together. This book explored so well how our past can still leave lingering impacts in our present but also how strong love, trust and support can help guide us through.
I once again of course despised Ben and his toxic family. Syd deserves the world and I was so happy to see the bonds continue to grow with Winter and her new loving family.
Brb gonna immediately smash Book 4...

Azaleas: A Black Sapphic Romance (The Love Flower Series Book 3)
Winter found everything she could ever ask for in Autumn and Sydney. Their love made her feel completely and truly loved and appreciated, like a fairytale. The portrayal of beautiful black love in the story was captivating, and the bond between the characters was undeniable. Winter's decision to adopt Sydney was heartwarming and sweet.
I fell in love with the book and haven't looked back since. The author skillfully crafted the story and developed well-rounded characters. I became so attached to the characters in the series that it was bittersweet to see their journey come full circle, but it was necessary. I'm thankful to the author for giving me the opportunity to read both books in advance. The author, a talented woman of color, is making her mark in the sapphic genre, and I will definitely keep an eye out for her future works.
Winter's love for Autumn and Sydney knew no bounds. She prioritized their happiness and went above and beyond for them. It was amazing to witness their relationship and family grow, as they welcomed more children. The love they had for each other and their families was evident, and extending it to another baby or babies was a natural progression. The author takes readers on a journey with the couple, showcasing the ups and downs of life.
The story had its fair share of twists and turns, and there were spicy moments that added excitement. The love between Autumn and Winter was palpable, and their story came full circle, leaving a lasting impact. Sydney's growth and development throughout the book was remarkable, a testament to the wonderful job Autumn and Winter did in raising her. Ben, on the other hand, was a despicable character, determined to hurt Autumn at any cost. This story will make you laugh, cry, and leave you in shock. I cherished every minute of it.
