I have just finished reading the first book in The Lycanthropire Saga, and it was amazing to read, I love the characters and seriously cannot wait until the second, third & fourth books are released. A must read

I try to not have any expectations when I read a book, except for having a good time. Given the fact I've been an avid reader I am usually let down just a little, because at the end of the book there is nothing left but: "been there, done that" and back to the shelf with it.

Not this time. Seriously, I was speechless at first... I expected it to be a light supernatural novel to devour on a rainy day but it is so much better. Kat Sloan's take on the whole topic is wonderful. Some old motives appear in a very new light and some I have never encountered at all. I had my share of vampire/werewolf stories, so it is my highest praise. I had to create a 110 year history on vampires in books, music and arts as masters degree final. Still - with this one? I was impressed.

Seldom did It run into a first time author who did such a brilliant job of forming characters that sneak into your heart before you know it and a story that leaves you wanting for more. I am really really looking forward to her second book.

5 stars. Nothing less will do.

Firstly I need to say that this made me cry twice, and when that happens it’s because I get emotionally attached to the story and the characters. That happened with this book, mostly because of Aiden (of course, Jesus Christ, he’s perfect).
The story is fast-paced and made me want to know more and more about everything that was happening throughout the pages. The writing is really good and that also helped me to get hooked to the book.
The way Kat Sloan made her characters and story come to live with just words was exquisite.
All the story and it’s emotional moments made me grow fond of the characters and wanting to know more about each one, to get to understand them and their purpose in the story.
The ending just killed me emotionally! I don’t have much to say about it because it was something that I wasn’t really expecting and when I read it, it hit me like an elephant smashing every single bone in my body.
I recommend this book to everyone because it is a MUST READ!!
Waiting excitedly for the second book!
