Paul Barker was an English journalist and writer. He grew up in Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge. He was educated at local schools in the Calder Valley and won an Exhibition to Brasenose College, Oxford, to read French.
The editor of New Society from 1968 to 1986, columnist and author who was interested in jazz, film and theatre as well as politics.
