Rate this book
This is a story of the corruption and stupidity in the way large corporations procure and use Information Systems. Its self interest all the way down to the bottom and no one suffers other than the corporations themselves. Martin Butler ran Europe’s largest indigenous technology analyst firm and saw plenty of this corruption and stupidity.
As the central characters ascend in status, so they become more corrupt and unhappy. But power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

EASY and enthralling read!

Fantastic story with all the twists and turns of business on all levels, especially insightful of shinanagins that happen within the shady corporate IT world.

A nice corporate novel with an IT focus. Not great, but not bad. Leaves some unpleasant aftertaste in the end about the corporate world, of course.
