Sweet

This was a sweet book. It can help kids know their favorite plush can be an emotional support stuffed animal, much like a real emotional support animal. I had not heard of this term before. Also I like how the main character is autistic, and I like how the author described autism.

It was alright. Seemed like a lot was being introduced in a really short period. I know it’s a storybook but I feel like it could have been explained more in depth. Cute book. Covers the basics.

as an adult with plenty of ESSAs due to being on the spectrum and having a variety of other invisible disabilities, this was such a beautiful and engaging book that explains what an ESSA is, and the positive impact they can have, perfectly. I highly recommend this for anyone with children who would benefit from, or maybe already own, an emotional support stuffed animal.
