No puedo evitarlo.
True Detective is the hard-boiled nicotine stained, soaked with alcohol, powdered with cocaine, grim kind of introduction to nihilism. This is the anthropomorphic animals, kawaii, moe, diabetes inducing sweet kind of a Japanese introduction to... Nihilism. It is like saying "life ain't worth shit" in a cute anime girl voice with eyes looking like >< and fingers become rabbit ears. Of course, optimists will say this is a manga about carpe diem and all that shit. And that is the great skill of this manga artist.

Very cute and lighthearted at the start, giving you a realistic glimpse of a typical adult's day to day. From lazing away watching TV shows and binge eating potato chips to struggling to confess to your crush. Nobody knows when their time is up, so we never "live like it is our last day". But if we do "live like it is our last day", will we be really happy and fulfilled when our time is up? Isn't all the little things in life which makes us happy? I think this author is trying to show us that.
An easy to read book. Even if you’re not a frequent reader, I finished this book within 15 minutes. The book conveys the following messages: • Appreciate everyday life. • Understand the importance of friendship and relationships. • Remember, you have limited time. • Recognize mortality and impermanence, as death can come suddenly. • Unexpected events can change life dramatically. • Practice mindfulness and presence.
。。 Reality of life illustrated in this cute manga.
Not intimidating for beginner Japanese language learners because you can understand from context through the illustrations. 🙂 Although there are quite a few words that I haven’t encountered yet and I’m not used to the form as I think they use mostly imperative(?).
A cute little slice of life from the perspective of a croc. It’s pretty mild overall with some cute/tender moments. The ending was pretty normal but I appreciate that the author didn’t go for some grand death but instead chose to keep it grounded.

very cute. the art style is meant to be simplistic to show that we should enjoy the simple things in our life and that life goes on one way or another.
