For as long as Arell Rivers remembers, she has been lost in a book. During her senior year in college, she picked up a romance novel … and instantly was hooked.

She started writing her first novel, No One to Hold, because the characters were screaming at her to do so. The story started coming out in Arell’s dreams and attacking her in the shower, so she took to the computer to shut them up. But they kept talking.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Arell has what some may call a “checkered past.” Prior to discovering her passion for writing romance, she practiced law, was a wedding and event planner and even dabbled in marketing. She lives with a very supportive husband and two mischievous cats. When not in her writing cave, Arell can be found making dinner in the crock pot, working out with Shaun T or hitting the beach.

She hopes you enjoy her stories about flawed men, strong women and the passions that ignite!

This Is A One-Click Boxset

I’m a huge rock romance lover and Ms. Rivers has delivered on her Hunte series with some awesome books and in this case an extra novella that you can only get here.

This is a must read for those who need their fix of rockers with storylines that are page turners.

This book includes 4 novels and one novella. In order, the first book is Out of the Red. It is the story of Braxton Hunte and Sara Anderson. He’s a rock star who hasn’t had a hit in a few years. She’s the accountant charged with cutting their band’s expenses, and getting them out of the red, and into the black. Sparks fly when they both want their own way! Another important part of this story is that Brax has a son from an earlier marriage, but he doesn’t get to see him much because of touring with his band, and because of his ex-wife’s interference.

The second story is about that son. In Out of the Shadow, King Hunte is an entitled jerk as the story begins. After some of his actions have consequences, his father cuts off his trust fund and he is forced to find a job. Angie Russo runs a struggling real estate firm that hopes to be selected as the finalist for a reality TV show soon to start filming in the area. King tries out for and gets selected as the male lead in the show, and Angie and her firm are also selected, with Angie as the female lead. They clash at first, but soon King finds more purpose and meaning in his life, and Angie starts living again after the death of her husband 10 years earlier. They both learn much from each other, and the story has a wonderful ending and some interesting tension.

The third story is about Brax’s daughter Melody with his wife, Sara. Out of the Gold is the story of Melody Hunte and Chase Wright, who grew up in close proximity, but had never met before. They are both working on a film set on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Melody creates costumes for film and TV, while Chase is starring in this film. They slowly get to know each other, after starting off somewhat antagonistically. There is a bit of a mystery on the set, but eventually everything settles out nicely.

In Out of the Blue, Trent Washington is the lead singer for The Light Rail, a band that becomes the opener for Hunte as they perform on the east coast. Cordelia Hernandez works for Apex Hits and becomes their marketing manager while they tour. After his mom passes away, Trent learns some distressing news while cleaning out her desk. He has to confront some very real trauma and fear in this book, and he has to learn about forgiveness and acceptance. Cordy helps him process some of his trauma, and eventually learns his secret. Everything comes to a head at one point, which leads to a heartfelt conclusion.

In Out of the Void, Hunte band member Colton is single again, after losing his wife, Caitrona, to cancer. He’s finally ready to start dating again, and suddenly there are two women vying for his attention. After several dates with each, he has made his decision, and has to let one of them down easy, while hoping the other one is as interested in him as he is in her. Things don’t go as smoothly as hoped, but he still gets the right woman in the end.

This collection is wonderful! Each story is interconnected with the rest of the collection, and is best read in order. There’s pain and heartache, as well as joy, love, forgiveness, and strong family ties. There is growth within the protagonists in each story, and there are lots of happy endings. Well done!

I have been a longtime reader of Arell Rivers and this box set is an awesome addition to my collection. I have enjoyed reading the Hunte series and now that it’s in one collection it so much easier as well as the bonus novella Out of the Void that is only available in this box set. This was such a great entertaining boxed set! Each book was packed full of great characters and so many emotions. Each character draws you in because they are all a little damaged. When times get tough…these characters get tougher. Strong female characters and strong loving male characters that love with their whole heart. Out of all the books my favorite was probably Melodys. Kings story is emotional…yet there are some laugh out loud moments. Braxton and Sara’s story is full of love. Melody’s story is full of angst and a love that shines through. Trenton’s story is full of heart and understanding. I enjoyed them all.

Highly recommended.

A*R*C team read.

Get comfy because you will get sucked into each story! There are 4 full length books and one novella included and each story is connected but different. The storylines build in time and some are slightly over lapping. This is the story of Braxton Hunte and his family. There is conflict, growth and love in each. Enjoy!

OUT OF THE RED - We meet Braxton Hunte, lead singer for the mega popular group Hunte. The band hasn't had a number one in years but still has a large fan base. Unfortunately the band is still spending money like when they were at the top of the charts which is giving their accounting firm anxiety. They've been through numerous accountants who have been unsuccessful in turning them around and Sara is the last resort.

Sara Anderson is a typical type A accountant who likes order. She ends up with nothing but chaos when she puts a rock band on a budget while trying to prove herself and make partner at her firm. She's good at her job but there are growing pains as she learns what it's like to be on the road with a band. Her intentions are good but the band hates it and she often finds herself up against Braxton to get him in line. There's tension and sparks in their interaction and soon they go from fighting to sexy times.

Sara brings out the best in Brax and he helps her find joy in the mess. Of course it's not that easy with these two. Brax has an ex-wife, Hillary and a son, King. Sara and Brax, while both very smart people really struggle with communication which is their downfall. Finding their way back to each other is hard but worth it.

OUT OF THE SHADOW - Continuing the story years later, King Hunte is now grown but unfortunately has been negatively influenced by his mother who never has a nice thing to say about his father Braxton or Sara. He is your typical spoiled rich kid who has never had to work a day in his life and travels the world with his friends who sponge off him for his trust fund. After some damming photos come to light, Brax cuts off King and King has to find a job.

Angie Russo is a hard working real estate agent who has a list of things to be accomplished. This list is a result of her short lived marriage to her childhood sweetheart who did not survive cancer. Now she is working to fulfill both of their dreams on her own. When presented with an opportunity to go on an HGTV-type show that would help her business she jumps at the opportunity. The show wants to pair her with someone and King and his buddy Trevor (who was part of the trouble that got him cut off from his trust fund) both audition for the role thanks to knowing someone on the production team. Angie and King are like fire and ice and the cameras eat it up.

The two work together but there's friction. Angie has to work for everything she has but life has been easier for King until recently. They both desperately need the money that this show would provide and the challenges that occur as part of the show are incentive for each of them to step up their game. Soon enough sparks start to fly.

OUT OF THE GOLD - Melody Hunte is the daughter of Brax and Sara and is a costume designer who is working on a Marvel like action movie in Italy. She has earned her role on the team through the work she has done on an HBO series and loves the challenges that come from creating a new world through costumes. For Melody making a name for herself and not because of her father is very important. All her life people have wanted to use her further their career through her father. On the movie she has been assigned as the dresser for the leading man Chase Wright, who she knows from her childhood as Charles Wainwright. Charles's sister made Melody's life hell growing up and she finds Charles to be a spoiled movie star so there is immediate conflict.

Chase/Charles has become quite the leading man due to success in Hollywood rom/coms as well as his current action star role but he has aspirations to do more that is not supported by his agent. With Melody dressing him daily the two spend a lot of time together and as they get to know each other better sparks start to fly. When an opportunity to spend time off the set presents itself the two jump at the opportunity to see Italy together.

Things on the set are not great though and a series of unfortunate events take place that seem to be pointing the finger at Melody implying that she is inept. Add to that further feelings of being used to get to know her father and what was previously growing between them comes to an abrupt halt.

OUT OF THE BLUE - Well it seems that Braxton Hunte was busy during his first marriage and in this story we meet Trent Washington, illegitimate son of Brax. Nether is aware of who the other person is to them and Trent only finds out who his real father is after his mother dies. Coincidentally, Trent is in a band, The Light Rail and they have been chosen as the winner of a contest to open for Hunte on their tour. Trent struggles with Brax and who he is but is grateful for the opportunity presented to the band.

Cordelia Hernandez works for the record label and has a terrible track record with men. Her most recent boyfriend racked up tens of thousands of dollars debt, kicked her out of their place and has a new girlfriend already. Cordelia is forced to move home with her deadbeat Mom who gambled away the youngest daughter's tuition money so now Cordelia is picking up the slack for her whole family. Being in the right place at the right time she is placed with The Light Rail to help with their social media while they are on tour to grow their fan base. She's great at what she does and the band loves her. She quickly catches Trent's eye.

She is careful with the band's brand but there is an inside leak who is feeding the media stories about the band. Stories about each member surface that she has to deal with but the biggest story of Trent's father is a bombshell that is inadvertently shared after Trent is in an accident. This could prove the end of Trent and Cordelia.

OUT OF THE VOID - This is a novella featuring Brax's best friend Colton Frontage. He lost his wife a few years earlier and has been working through that pain. He hasn't been ready to put himself back out there but finds himself in a situation where he is helping to mentor a young band with a hot lead singer and spending time with the woman sitting at the sound table mixing their music. Both hold serious attraction to him and he dates both to see if his heart is ready to move forward. Both are unique in what they bring to the relationship but ultimately one will win out.

I received an advance review copy of this book for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Out of the Red:
One impassioned argument.
One dominating kiss.
One unexpected moment that turns everything upside down.
And that’s only the opening act.

Rockstar Braxton Hunte is the type of chaos that makes your soul burn…

Brax has been on tour for a decade, and some may say he swallows obstacles for fun. Well, maybe he does—he’s never encountered a riff he couldn’t handle, a treasure he couldn’t score, or a woman he couldn’t conquer. No one, especially not a buttoned-down rule-follower like the band’s new tour accountant, is going to change him.

Accountant Sara Anderson is an unabashed stickler for the rules…

Sara’s worked nine long years to make partner, and only one thing stands between her and her goal—Hunte. Now she’s going on their tour to whip the band into financial shape. So long as she gets them out of the red, the promotion will be hers. Those bad boys of rock will be tamed, no matter how yummy their lead singer is.

When rebellion confronts discipline, fireworks explode.

Passions collide, and lives are permanently altered, in this enemies-to-lovers, slow-burn standalone romance set in the mid-1990s—when grunge ruled the airwaves and women partners were as uncommon as those new mobile phones.

Loved Brax and Sara's story. Flawlessly written and heartfelt. Their journey wasn't an easy one, I loved every single page of this book!

Out of the Shadow:
Nothing ever came easy to Angie Russo. Hard work, loyalty, and sheer grit made her the kick-ass realtor she is today. But when her best still isn’t good enough, Angie decides to try something different. Maybe a stint on the new real estate reality show can give her the notoriety she needs to push her firm to #1. Her chances of winning the show’s prize are high…until she meets the entitled, cavalier, and all-too-sexy jerk she’s competing against.

Angie’s big chance is King Hunte’s rock bottom. He screwed up big, and he needs money fast. The silly real estate competition should be a breeze to win. Or, at least it would be, if not for the sassy, determined, and ridiculously desirable Angie. King’s suddenly forced to work harder than he ever has, and he’s shocked to find that he actually enjoys it…almost as much as he savors the combustible chemistry he shares with his prickly co-star.

Just as Angie discovers there’s more to King than meets the eye, King realizes Angie could be the key to the life he’s always secretly wanted. When a ghost from the past emerges to threaten their future together, Angie and King must overcome the obstacles the show—and life—throw at them, or see their shot at love end before the first commercial break.

This book was so good!! As opposite as Angie and King were they totally worked! Their banter was great, chemistry hot! Their story was flawlessly written and heartfelt! Highly recommend!

He was just the impatient ass she was supposed to sew into the superhero costume. Getting to know him was never part of her plan. Starting to like him wasn’t, either. Giving him way too much of herself? Potential disaster. Especially when his next role crashes against her deep-seated vulnerabilities.

All he wanted was to be taken seriously as an actor—to be seen as more than a pretty-boy “movie star.” The audition was forgotten before it even ended. It didn’t mean anything. But as it turns out, Melody does mean something. She’s everything. She’s golden. Now all he has to do is fix the giant mess he made before he loses her for good.

Loved Melody and Chase's story! I disliked Chase at first. I loved reading how much he changed into the amazing guy he truly was. Their story was beautifully written and heartfelt. What a great read!

Out of the Blue:
Trent

I never expected to see her again.

I certainly never thought my record label would hire her to be my band’s social media manager.

But now, here we are, on a tour that could make or break my career—me with a massively dark secret that could ruin everything, and her with enough emotional baggage to fill a stadium. I should leave her alone.

Too bad I’ve never been good at doing what I should…

Cordelia

I’ve worked too hard, come too far, overcome too much, to get screwed over by something as frivolous and fleeting as love. So, I absolutely will not be giving in to my attraction to Trent.

Well, not again, anyway. That anonymous one-night stand is all he’ll get out of me. My heart can never be part of the deal.

No matter how much he makes me wish things could be different for us…

Out of the Blue, book 4 in The Hunte Family series, is an angsty, steamy, contemporary rock star romance that can be read as a standalone, and features a guaranteed happily ever after. This book is intended for readers who love strong, independent heroines and the brooding, sexy alpha males who capture their hearts. Download this enemies-to-lovers full-length novel today and let the binge-reading begin.

Loved Trent & Cordelia's story! Their story was beautifully written and heartfelt. Their story wasn't an easy one, and boy you better be prepared to be taken on an emotional journey! I don't want to give anything away, just be prepared for an amazing story!

Out of the Void:

OUT OF THE RED: Braxton Hunte is a bad boy and he loves it!! Braxton has an ex-wife and a son named King. Then you have good girl Sara Anderson and she works for an Accounting firm!! Braxton Hunte is the lead singer of the band, Hunte, and the band isn't doing as good as they used to. They are playing smaller venues but, they are spending money as if they were still playing sold out stadiums. Sara wants to make partner in the Accounting Firm and was given one last test and that is to bring the Hunte Band back into the the black. Sara decides that she is going to tour with the band to see what is going on with the money. Well she decides to give each band member an envelope with a budget as to how much they are allowed to spend. Boy that did not go over real well and Braxton and Sara end up going toe to toe. At one point Sara was advised by friend to make nice with the band members and after a bit a few band members did what they could to stay in budget or below. At some point things between Braxton and Sara start to get hot. Sara also found out that someone was stealing money from the band. Sara gets to meet Braxton's son King and his ex-wife at King's Birthday Party and the ex-wife was not nice at all. Not going to say anymore as I don't want to give any spoilers.

OUT OF THE SHADOW: In this book you have King Hunte who is the son of a famous Rock Star. King is the guy who has it all, at least I thought he did. Looks can be deceiving as I got to know more about King’s past and present. His dad sees a picture of King doing drugs with his friend Trevor and cuts off his allowance. Now King has to find a job. Then you have Angie Russo who works hard for everything she has and everything she is trying to achieve in life. She has dreams and lists and a past she is desperately trying to hold onto. Angie owns a Real Estate Business but, it needs help. Angie decides that doing a Real Estate Reality TV show would help her get the notoriety she needs to push her firm to #1. King's friend Baline told King he should try out for the co-star of the show. It turned out that King's friend Trevor was also doing a screen test for the show but, King was selected for the part. King’s suddenly forced to work harder than he ever has. He was told he has to have a Real Estate License and he study's hard for it. King is amazed that he is really enjoying it, almost as much as he is enjoying the chemistry he shares with his prickly co-star. Angie finds out that there is more to King than meets the eye. Angie does get to meet King's dad. King realizes Angie could be the key to the life he’s always secretly wanted. Does King pass the Real Estate License test? Do King and Angie actually hit it off and maybe start spending time together away from filming?

OUT OF TE GOLD: Chase & Melody are so awesome!! I was worried about them in the beginning but, as I got further into the book I felt better about them. I felt bad about what Chase's sis did to Melody in school. I did not care for Helene especially how she tried sucking up to Judith and to make Melody look bad. When the first wardrobe malfunction happened I thought no big deal but, then there was a second malfunction and I said to myself Helene did due to how she wanted to get promoted. Chase and Melody breaking up was sad and I was surprised when Chase turned down the roll to play Melody's dad in the movie. Chase and Melody get back together and I was so happy for them as they belong together. I have to say the sex scenes were HOT HOT!! I then read the bonus epilogue and loved what I read as to how things turned out for Chase and Melody. I truly loved this book.

OUT OF THE BLUE: This book is about Trent and Cordelia. They both have been hurt. Trent is grieving the loss of his mother. Trent is focused on his band "The Light Rail [TLR]. He wants to win a competition to keep opening for his idol's world famous band and his idol is Braxton Hunte. That idol is Braxton Hunt. Then one day Trent reads his mother's diary and that is when he found out that she lied to him all his life. He read who his real dad was. Cordelia is in debt due to her ex boyfriend running up her charge cards. She does not get along with her mother and then she finds out that her mother gambled all of her sister Juanita's tuition money. Juanita turns to Cordelia for help. Cordelia and Trent end getting together and things were going good. One day a very bad motorcycle accident results in the revelation about Trent's real dad. The truth about who his dad is comes out and Trent blames Cordelia and he chases her away. Do Trent and Cordelia get back together?? What happens between Trent and Braxton??

OUT OF THE VOID: Colton and the guys are listening to a band called "Hard Hatters". Colton and Brax decide that the band was missing something. Next thing you know the band not only has a female singer named Ellen, they have a new name "Hole In One" and they have a great sound mixer named Amy. Well both Ellen and Amy want to date Colton and he likes them both too. This is an awesome and I highly recommend this box set!!

OUT OF THE BOX @ArellRivers

The complete Hunte Family collection features 4 full-length steamy rockstar romance books plus a bonus novella about lead singer/guitarist Braxton Hunte and his family.

Get sucked into the world of Braxton Hunte, from the mid-90s when he was a wild young rock star through to today and raising a wayward family.

Seppy's 5-Star Review of Collection Boxset: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed reading about Braxton Hunte and his family and band mates. I loved King and Melody books. It was an amazing read that you can get in this out of box collection.  I wanted more about Colton in his story.  Amazing  collection from Arell Rivers.

♥ OUT OF THE RED – Start the series with rocker Brax getting whipped into shape by a new tour accountant, Sara Anderson.

Seppy's 5 Star Review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the first book in the Hunte Family series, Braxton Hunte and Sara's story. Sara is hired to get the band's finances out of the red. The band, including Leader singer Braxton Hunte, is against having their spending limited and rebel against Sara and her ideas. These two are totally opposites, and poor Sara is put through the ringer to get them on the same page as her. Brax finds Sara attractive when she isn't all buttoned up Accountant, and Sara has always had a major crush on Brax since his career started 10 years ago. Sparks and chemistry fly between these two.

I loved this one. I loved the banter in the beginning between the band and Sara. I also loved how these rockers saw the error of their ways. I loved how Brax got Sara to live a little and not just work. It was another great read.

♥ OUT OF THE SHADOW – Braxton son King meets more than his match on a reality TV show set

Seppy's 5-Star Review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is King's book. He was a child in book one, and now he is all grown up.  I was sad and surprised about his life from the last book until now.  He is isolated and has no true friends and family he is close with.  Brax, his dad has froze his trust fund, and  now he has to find a job to make money.

Angie is a real-estate agent, and she needs to boost her sales to stay in business. She enters a reality show competition with King as her  opponent. King has to learn the ropes and take the real estate test.

These two have amazing  chemistry and  bickering banter. I enjoyed these two together.  They are both competitive during the reality competition.  I love the growth of these two characters, especially their self-discovery. This can be read as a standalone. It was a great read.

♥ OUT OF THE GOLD – Brax daughter Melody sews up the lead actor in this superhero movie filmed on the Amalfi Coast.

Seppy's 5-Star Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is Melody's story, She is Braxton and Sara's daughter, who was born at the end of the last book.  Melody is working on the set of a movie, and her main job is to sew and unsew the hot author Charles/Chase  in and out his costume.  The chemistry and banter are hot!  Charlie and Melody don't get off on the right start.  But the more she has to spend hours sewing and unsewing  him of his costume, the more they get to know each other. Sparks fly and chemistry is so off the charts.  I mean, imagine Melody on her knee for hours daily working to sew and unsew him out. It's hot!

Melody is always nervous that everyone she lets into her life has always used to get close to her rockstar dad.  She really wants to make a name for herself in costume design with her amazing sewing skills.  I love that they have nicknames of each other.

I loved this one. I loved the insight Melody's POV gave to the family dynamic that we read in the two previous books. I loved Melody and Chase together once they started to really get to know each other and reveal themselves to each other.  I read this one cover to cover in one night.

♥ OUT OF THE BLUE – an unexpected rockstar is added to the Hunte family

Seppy's 5 Star Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I haven't read the first three books of this series, but I loved this book. Cordelia and Trent meet and hook up out of the blue and now these two will see each other a lot due to one being the social media manager and the other being part of the band she is social media managing. These two have a lot of issues going on within themselves.  I love this story and read it cover to cover and want these two to have a HEA. I laughed and cried and then yelled a little, too. Check this one out.

Out of the Red:
Braxton Hunte was the rockstar bad boy that was the star in the dreams of girls of all ages. His band rocked hard & partied harder. But too much of that & their music & bank account reflected that. So when their accounting firm hands over their account to yet another accountant on staff who finally puts her foot down, they find it hard to fall in line…well some do. Sara is determined to make partner at her firm & getting the Hunte account under control will be her ticket straight to her goals. But that task isn’t looking to be a simple one. As she sets out to make her presence known on tour with the band, she intends to demolish their spending by placing them all on a tight budget. But some of the guys set out to demolish her budget instead.
There was so much sexual tension between Brax & Sara it was beyond palpable. And once they gave in, it was a flame that wasn’t easily doused. They had their ups & their downs, but when you find the one that is destined to captivate your heart, you find yourself making major life changes to be their everything.

Out of the Shadow:
It kind of hurt my heart the way that King felt that he was such an afterthought. After reading Brax’s story, especially with the epilogue, I had great hopes for him & his dad. But alas…that narrative wouldn’t have delivered such an amazing opportunity for King’s growth.
With the same theme of being placed on a budget—just in a different way—King is desperate to find an easy way to make some money. But in the process of signing on to do a reality tv show about realtors, his costar, Angie, places a stipulation that he must obtain his realtor license. I loved the way that King found a passion within himself that was always there on the surface, he just hadn’t tapped into it. And the way he completely took care of Angie, her fragile heart, and made her want to live & love again. But also how Angie wanted to make King feel the love that her large Italian family had always shown her by allowing him to become part of their crazy world.
Seeing both of these characters grow so much both personally, professionally, & in their relationship together just absolutely warmed my heart.

Out of the Gold:
Melody is trying to live her life outside of her dad’s shadow. She’s trying to make a name for herself in the world of costume design, but trying to do it without the influence of her last name. She’s spent too much time with people only placing value in her for what her family can do for them, and she’s done being a doormat. But on set, Chase Wright, the leading man, needs nothing from her but her complete focus on ensuring that his costume is up to par. But as these two are forced to spend time together while Melody literally sews his costume on him, they find themselves confiding in & seeing a different side of each other.
I loved watching these two morph in their relationship. And I loved that Melodie was so humble even with her privileged position in life. She definitely earned her position all on her own, & I loved the way that Chase continually affirmed her of that.

Out of the Blue:
Trent & Cordelia had one very steamy night, and both went their own ways after. But since fate always has its own plans, these two came face to face in an unexpected way. Cordelia jumped at the opportunity to accept a spur of the moment job offer to headline the social media of an up & coming band. She could really use the money & the potential at a promotion, but what she didn’t need was her one night stand making a reappearance. Especially since that one night stand has some seriously bottled up emotional baggage & is harboring a life altering secret.
As these two spent more and more time together on tour, their initial attraction to each other just kept growing. And as their reservations steadily diminished, they both found themselves in a love that was beyond unexpected. At least…until the truly unexpected happened. Heartbreak, pain, secrets, & misconceptions abound, but can two people who are so obviously perfect for each other survive?

Out of the Void:
I’m so glad we get to see Colton get his second chance at a forever love after losing his wife Caitrona. It’s always hard to move on and take the leap to date again, but not only did Colton do exactly that, but he found 2 women who were very interested. But being able to find someone who understands the pain & can truly help you move on isn’t as easy. After several dates with both women, Colton was fortunate enough to find that special someone who could truly complete the whole left in his heart. The only problem is, he had to let one down gently. But, will the other woman, the one he feels he is meant to be with still love him after the truth comes out?

Out of the Box (The Complete Hunte Family Series) by Arell Rivers contains four books following the Hunte family and one novella following Hunte’s bass player, as they all find love. Each story is reviewed and rated individually below (using shortened versions of my previous reviews). The novella, Out of the Void, is the only story in the box set that I hadn't already read and reviewed before now.

---

Out of the Red is a contemporary enemies-to-lovers rock-star romance told in first person, dual POV that takes place in the 1990s. It follows the relationship between rock star Braxton Hunte and accountant Sara Anderson, who’s been hired to get the band out of the red.

I really loved this story! I especially enjoyed the nostalgia of revisiting the 90s. There were so many great references that took me back in time. The characters are fantastic as well - likable, relatable, and believable. Brax and Sara are complete opposites who continue to clash and butt heads throughout the book. Their chemistry is palpable and together they are explosive! Full of witty banter, twists, surprises, and so many emotions. (4.5 Stars)

---

Out of the Shadow is a contemporary enemies-to-lovers workplace romance told in first person, dual POV. It follows the relationship between King Hunte, the spoiled recently cut-off son of a rock star, and Angie Russo, a realtor in financial trouble.

I loved Angie and King's story. Their competitive banter and scorching hot chemistry were so fun to read. As characters, they were both well-developed, multifaceted, and relatable, with much more depth than initial impressions revealed. The story covered a full spectrum of emotions. It was witty, fun, emotional, steamy, romantic, and suspenseful - with a heart-stopping twist! I thoroughly enjoyed the ride! (4.5 Stars)

---

Out of the Gold is a contemporary enemies-to-lovers Hollywood workplace romance told in first person, dual POV. It follows the relationship between costume designer Melody Hunte and Hollywood heartthrob Chase Wright.

I loved the first two books in this series, so maybe my expectations were too high, because for me, this one was just okay. At the start, I was interested, engaged, and turning the pages. But in the middle, it seemed like it was just one sex scene after another, which affected the pacing. It felt like everything dragged, and I kept waiting to get back on plot and back to the story. Things did pick up again, but the conflicts were weak and didn't pack enough of a punch to grab me and pull me back in to the degree that I felt as invested as I had been in the beginning. It's not a bad story, but it fell flat for me. I'm clearly in the minority, though. So give it a chance. (3 Stars)

---

Out of the Blue is a contemporary enemies-to-lovers rock-star workplace romance told in first person dual POV. It follows the relationship between Trent, the lead guitarist and singer of The Light Rail, and Cordelia, the band’s social media manager.

I really enjoyed Cordelia and Trent’s story. As characters, they were both complex, realistically flawed, and likeable - mostly. I write “mostly” because I liked Trent better in the beginning than I did at the end. By the end of the book, I didn’t completely dislike Trent, but I didn’t think he was good enough for Cordelia either. I wasn’t convinced he’d moved past his issues enough to break destructive patterns and not repeatedly hurt her. So basically, I wanted them to find their HEA, but with the way everything happened, it’s an HFN in my mind because, although they ended up together and happy, I’m not sure they’ll last. Overall, I really enjoyed the story and thought it was a fitting series end. (4 Stars)

---

Out of the Void is a contemporary rock-star love-triangle novella told from the first person single POV of widower Colton Frontage, the bass player for Hunte. The story follows Colton as he dates for the first time since his wife passed, exploring relationships with two different women. It’s a quick, enjoyable read, with an ending that felt cut short and somewhat rushed, but that’s not unusual for novellas. (4 Stars)

A set of books covering a couple of decades in the Life of Braxton Hunte and his family,a new novella is included about a member of the band Hunte.
Out Of The RED.
We meet Brax Hunte, frontman of the hugely successful band named after him. He is living the dream and that dream is putting the band in debt.
Enter Sara, newly appointed band accountant, she has been tasked with bringing the band from the brink and will do it by whatever means necessary even if that means bringing "the Wild Child and his wallet to their knees. Let battle commence.
Out Of The Shadow
King, Braxton's son from a failed marriage, feeling like an after thought in his father's life. King too is living the dream, on Daddies dime, until Brax cuts him off, in an effort to tame him.
King gets involved in a reality show following realtors in The Hamptons and surrounding areas,to prove he can make his own way. He is paired with Angie who is trying to keep her Realtor business afloat and really needs to win this show. King finds he actually enjoys the work being a Realtor and soon gets into the swing of buying and selling property. He slowly finds himself invested in both the business and Angie and wants to win as much as she does, and proving to his Dad he can make his own way in the world.
Out Of The Gold
Melody, Braxton's daughter from his second marriage is a costume designer for a TV show. She finds herself working on a film set, during a break in filming her show. She is dressing famous Actor Chase Wright who has no time for the girl tasked with getting him ready for filming. He just wants to be in and out as quickly as possible. The two barely tolerate each other until Chase starts to realise Melody and her fresh ideas actually help make him look better and make his life on set easier. Melody is gradually proving herself to be a very talented costume designer as well as an asset to Chase and his film. A mutual respect is formed that starts to blossom into more than an actor and his costume designer.
Out Of The Blue
Trent has been brought up by a single Mum who recently passed away. After her funeral he finds her diaries and when he reads them his world is blown apart. Everything he believed was his past is blown to pieces.

When Trent's band The Light Rail find themselves in a competition to be the opening act on tour for Hunte an already famous band they find themselves working with Cordelia who has been tasked with making them visible on social media. As TLR become more visible Trent and Cordelia become close, until stories about the band members start being leaked to the media, stories they have kept to themselves until now. With the finger pointed directly at her Cordelia loses Trent's trust and sets out to prove the leaks weren't from her and win back the band. Trent finds himself drowning without her but can he ever trust her again.
Out Of The Void
A short novella added to the series for this box set.
We revisit Braxton's Bassist and best friend throughout the success of Hunte.
Having lost the love of his life many years before, Colton has never trusted himself in another relationship, it hurts too much to lose someone and he is never going to risk that again.
Then he meets Ellen a singer who is taken under the wing of the record company Hunte work with. Colton finds himself drawn to this open and talented woman and wonders if she could be worth the risk of falling again.
Amy is the sound tech working the studio where Ellen and the guys are recording and Colton is intrigued by this perky talented woman. He finds himself caught, like a deer in headlights, between two women and he needs to make a choice, something he never thought he would ever risk again. Can he decide between the two and find a HEA he never thought would come his way again.

This a is fabulous series. Entwined around the family of one man through decades and all the ups and owns of living in the shadow of a famous Dad, these stories are all amazing. If you have read them before, read them again in this set and find the new novella at the end. If you haven't met Braxton Hunte, his band and family before, you are in for a treat. Arell has written each character so beautifully, each of them is a little damaged, you won't be able to resist following them through all the ups and downs . Grab this box set and settle in for a journey you won't regret making.

In addition to adding artistic and enticing covers to her previously published Hunte family series, Arell Rivers has combined these books (as well as adding a previously unpublished novella) into a box set entitled Out of the Box.
Beginning with her first Hunte book: Out of the Red, Braxton Hunte, lead singer of the rock group Hunte is on top of the world yet scraping the bottom of his check book. Too much party, too much livin’ the RockStar life, he needs to get a grip. What he got was a tour accountant who is one client away from making Partner—and she is going to get them to follow the rules or go down trying! I have to be honest, this was my first Hunte book, and probably my favorite. Enjoy the ride, readers, with this enemies to lovers story.
Out of the Shadow is the 2nd in the Hunte Series. Angie is a Realtor who needs to make a big sale to hold onto her business, King is Braxton’s son and had life pretty easy, but needs money fast. His devil may care manner has put him in a lot of hot water who has cut him off, and he needs a reality check to reestablish himself and a promise he made to his Little Brother. He signs up for a Reality Real Estate show, with Angie as his partner and finds he enjoys the business, Angie and realizes that the lifestyle he really craves is the one with Angie in it. How will he entice her?
Out of the Gold: This is Melody and Chase’s story. Melody is Braxton Hunte’s daughter, trying to prove herself in the costume design side of the business. Trusting that she earned her new position, designing and sewing the main character Chase, into his costume every day, Melody and Chase learn to like, trust and appreciate each other. As their romance grows, each are succeeding in their respective roles—but does that keep them apart?
Out of the Blue: Trent, lead singer of The Light Rail , rock group rival hoping to opening for the Hunte tour, is a victim of violent crime in that his mother is killed at a mall, and he subsequently suffers from stress in crowds. Cordelia, with her own secrets, is the PR/social media specialist brought on by Hunte to promote the bands. She needs to keep this job, and unbeknown to her, Trent is the one night hook-up prior to their respective opportunities. How will they handle this? Will their respective secrets take them closer or push them apart?
Out of the Void: Colton, a long-time friend and bandmate of Brax, finally gets his own book. As a fan of the Hunte family series, I was personally thrilled to read this novella. After his heart was broken in a prior relationship, Colton has serious trust issues. The band he and Hunte are mentoring have decided that a female singer would improve their success. Enter Ellen, who becomes not only their singer but a love interest for Colton. The glitch is that Amy , the perky sound technician, also becomes a love interest, and Colton needs some serious introspection of what he wants and what will be best moving forward for an HEA.
I’ve read all of these books’ prior (except the bonus Novella Out of the Void) and thoroughly enjoyed the Hunte family and their adventures. Each feature strong characters, romance and an HEA. When I like to immerse myself in a family saga, the Hunte family is my family of choice!

I really really enjoyed the first book, Out of Red, which is why I couldn't wait to jump on the chance to read the rest of the series. And now...the series comes in one collection which is great!!!

Out of Red was the first book I read from Arell Rivers and I LOVED IT!! I loved the interaction between Brax and Sara. It's so amusing when the straight arrow Sara goes crazy over trying to get all the Hunte members in line. But her chemistry with Brax was unbelievable. They are so different but compliment each other. I couldn't wait to read the rest of their kids' stories.

I have to admit, it was hard for me to pick up Out of Shadow because I didn't like King. I wanted to skip this book and go straight to the next. But...then...I feel like I would be missing out. So i sucked it up and read the book. I didn't think I would like King because even the little bits of him we saw in the first book showed that he was spoiled brat and brainwashed by his bitter mom who was only with Brax for money. So it was hard to read the first part of the book until he really turned out to be a decent person. Him and Angie did not work well together at first, but gotten to really know each other underneath changed things. My perception of King really changed and I couldn't put the down afterwards.

Melody's story is the one I been looking forward to...cuz she's Brax and Sara's daughter :) I love the interaction between Melody and Chase, how they've known each other since they grew up in the same neighborhood but hated each other. I really enjoy the enemy-to-lover trope and this book has it all. Really enjoyed all the push and pull, the banter back and forth. All the twists and turns but fret not it is a HEA ending.

The last book of the series is Out of Gold. You don't need to have read the other books to read this one. Actually in fact you can read all the the books separately if you want to. But believe me, if you read one of the books, you will want to read all of them, so why not get them in this collection boxset. Anyway, this story is about Trent and Cordelia, there is a secret involved with Trent which got leaked and there was a misunderstanding. The whole time I was rooting for the truth to come out and for them to get back to each other.

This is such a good collection of books and I've enjoyed every single one of them (not to mention the hot bedroom scenes). So just save yourself time and money and get the whole series at once so you can binge all of the Hunte family stories.

I received this book as ARC in return for my honest review.

Ahhh to have the Hunte family all together and then a couple of the bandmates stories was great! It is a girthy book and I have read all of the stories and to re-read them brought me back and I could never tire with these stories.

The first book is Brax and Sara's story of how what I call the grump and the beauty and how she tamed him by not backing down.

Then the next is Brax's oldest King's book. He is a spoiled kid and when he is cut off, he needs to do something about it, and scouting out real estate just worked for him. It was also when he met the love of his life Angie. Like his dad, their relationship didn't start off stellar, but they learned to work together which led to them falling for each other.

Book 3 was Brax and Sara's daughter Melody and her working with her HS tormentor's brother as a costume designer on his movie. Being in presence daily would remind her of the bully and how his "Movie star" status seems to not have changed how she feels. Fast forward to a time they had to spend together, and things changed. But Melody has issues with thinking all that lands in her lap are due to her dad's star power and not her own work ethic. This plays a huge part in relationships and how she can't get out of her head thinking things are too good to be true.

Book 4 Trent and Cordelia- Trent was getting the opportunity to live out his dreams of being a rock star. Cordelia was just trying to go day to day and try to get out of a quandary of the trouble that has landed in her lap as of recent.

These 2 never thought they would see each other again after one hot night now they will be working with each other. These 2 had great chemistry and are perfect for each other. Growing up the way they had bonded them in a way but they both also had their guard up and when things come crumbling down there was no stopping these 2.

Novella-Colton/Amy/Ellen Loved this little, short quick read with this kind of love triangle. I mean Colton needed to figure out when he started catching feels for 2 women after not even entertaining the notion since he lost his wife. Needless to say, it is a ride for him and when he has a chance to have a "second chance" at love and open his heart he was able to find the right one.

Out of the Red

I so enjoyed Brax and Sara’s story. Brax is your typical sexy rockstar and Sara is his tour accountant, now in charge of the band’s finances, and he’s not liking it to say the least. I loved Brax and Sara’s interactions and they had a fabulous connection. So enjoyed this story and looking forward to whatever’s next!

Out of the Shadow

Fantastic add! This is King and Angie's story, and their journey is one of laughter and tears, and I fell in love with their story. The banter between them is funny and chemistry between the two is off the charts. The book was well written, with an excellent plot, storyline, and wonderfully developed characters. A definite must read!!

Out of the Gold

Another amazing addition to the Hunte Family Series. Melody is the daughter of famous rockstar, Braxton Hunte, and she wants nothing more than to prove herself and make it on her own without help from her father. When Melody meets Chase, on her new job, they dislike each other at first, but over time their relationship develops into something more. Melody and Chase were perfect together. A definite must read and one I highly recommend.

Out of the Blue

So so good!! Out of the Blue is the final book in the Hunte Series and Trent and Cordelia’s story. Trent has also lost his mother and after reading her diary finds out he’s been lied to all his life. Cordelia is broke and left paying loads of debt thanks to her ex. Trent and his band (The Light Rail) enter and win a radio contest to open for Braxton Hunte. He never thought he would see Cordelia again after their one night together, and now Cordelia is assigned to work with his band. I absolutely adored both Trent and Cordelia characters and their chemistry was palpable. Their journey is filled with drama, betrayal, lies, and love. An amazing ending to the Hunte Family series.

Out of the Void

An entertaining read. This story follows Colton and his dating journey and finding the right one. Overall, an enjoyable read.

An awesome collection of stories.
Out of the Red
The development of this rock star romance was so refreshingly different, that it held my attention from the beginning to the end. With the setting in the 90’s the memories this book brought back were great.
Out of the Shadow
Wasn’t sure what I was expecting from King, but this wasn’t it. His character was a pleasant surprise, going from a spoiled playboy to a focus, responsible person was an interesting journey. Loved how opposite the leading female Angie is from King. She knows what she wants and is totally focus and driven on her goals. The banter between these two was humorous at times and kept you reading to find out how they were going to interact next. This a great story and the few twists and turns really make this one that is worth reading.
Out of the Gold
Truly enjoyed reading this book, this book took a while to grab my attention. That being said, I did enjoy reading it. It did grab my and was all in until the end. Overall was a really great book, had some nice twist in there to hold you. Can’t wait until the next one in the series.
Out of the Blue
Another awesome book in this series. This book was a real emotional page turner from the very beginning with a well written storyline, a plot that flowed smoothly from page to page and characters that were so well created that Cordelia and Trent kept me totally glued to my kindle until the very last page.
Out of the Void
This bonus novella was a sweet, enjoyable read. While it was a shorter story than the rest in the collection, I was completely engaged from beginning to the end. Nice additional to the collection.

OUT OF THE BOX was entertaining. It has four books in its series. The first was titled "Out of the Red." The plot was filled with a rock band's overspending while on the road, a son's birthday party, a feisty accountant, an obnoxious ex-wife, a potential promotion, a depressing childhood, striving for a GED, making the grade, a new little one, and love. Braxton Hunte of the Rock group "Hunte" and Sara, the protagonists, worked hard to try to achieve their HEA.
The second installment was titled, "Out of the Shadow" which began with King, the floundering son of Braxton and Sara's step-son. The plot was filled with the demise of a trust fund, working for a living, going to real estate school/training, competing for a reality TV role, competing for clients, confessions, a budding relationship, a misunderstanding, winning back Angie, and love. Angie, the other protagonist and love interest, owned a real estate company.
"Out of the Gold" was the third book in the series. Its plot boasted of Melody, Braxton Hunte's daughter who was a movie dresser. In this work, she was at odds with the superstar and heartthrob, Chase. It was entertaining.
Lastly, the final book in the series was titled "Out of the Blue." Trent, a guitarist and lead singer for The Light Rail, had a major secret. The other protagonist, Cordelia, was tasked to market the group while they were on tour for three months. A bad motorcycle accident sidelined Trent who needed a major organ transplant, preferably a close relative. In walked the person responsible for the major secret earlier. This was a heartfelt tale.
Overall, I liked each book for the author's writing style: engaging and sometimes sympathetic characters, witty dialogue, enthralling settings, vivid descriptions, and fascinating storylines that held my interest.
I received a copy for free and am voluntarily giving my honest review.

So it turns out that I read and reviewed the 4th book in the Hunte family series, about 3 years ago. I think I enjoyed it the first time around, more than the 2nd. I love that all of the books are together and they all tie in. I find that the main women in the 4 stories, whilst feisty and willing to do whatever to get what they want, they all cave pretty quickly when it comes to the issues that arise with their "man". The story lines are all great - I was a particular fan of King and Angie's story the most out of the 4.

As for Colton's Novella... I am sorry to say that it didn't really do much for me.
**SPOILER ALERT** he had to sleep with one in order to choose the other? Nuh - that makes him a dog in my book.

Will I remember these books in 12 months time and search them out to re-read them? Not likely. Did I enjoy reading them? Absolutely.

How wonderful is it that all these fabulous stories about my favourite rockstar family are now in one box set for our reading pleasure?

I read each of these books when they were originally published and after reading Brax and Sara's story I eagerly awaited the next one . . .and then the next . . . and the next after that, until sadly the series was completed.

Thank you Arell for compiling them into one volume and adding a little surprise novella giving us a little bit of Colton!

If you haven't read any of these stories (or even if you have), I encourage you to grab a copy of this box set - you won't be disappointed!

This is my honest and voluntary review after receiving an ARC.

Awesome Rockstar/Celebrity Boxset
This boxset starts out in the 90's with Rockstar Braxton Hunte and the Hunte Band. Then travels over the decades with Braxton’s children and band members. I loved all five of these well written steamy romance stories. There is bit of everything enemies to lovers, loss of love ones, betrayal, anger, surprises and so much more. It was a treat to read about each of the members of this family falling in love and all the drama and trials that came with that journey for them. The four bonus epilogues were the icing on the cake that just completed everything. So glad I was able to read these stories all at once instead of having to wait for each one to be published separately. Arell Rivers rocks as an author!
I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

I loved this box set of stories about the Hunte family. Arell has been on my TBR for a while and I am so glad I finally read these. I absolutely love rockstar romances and Arell did a fantastic job getting you to fall in love with all of them. Lots of emotional depth and truly realistic and wonderful characters. This is a very large book so it took a while to read but is so worth it. If I had to choose a favorite couple it would be Out of the Red with Braxton and Sara. Definitely a must read!

It has been awhile since I read these stories and i loved reading them by themselves and in this box set so You can read all the stories together. Love reading Out Of the Red about Brax and Sara , Out Of The Shadow about Brax's son King and Angie, Out Of The Gold about Brax and Sara's daughter Melody and Chase, Out Of The Blue about Tent and Cordelia and Out Of The Void about Brax's bandmate Colton. Love reading how they all meet and how their relationships turn out and love how all the stories end. I highly recommend all the stories in this!!!!!

I love rocker romances and this box set by Arell Rivers is an awesome read, with 4 full length novels and one novella. You will definitely get your enjoyment of rockers with the Hunte family. I can't pick a favorite as I loved each of these books for their own reasons. Each one will keep you entertained from the first page all the way until the end. If you like rockers and romance, you don't want to miss out on this box set. I read each of these individually as they came out and it was so fun to go back and visit them again in the box set.

I received an ARC copy of this book.

What a great collection of reads.
Ms Rivers has written an amazing rock romance featuring the Hunte family.
Book 1 Red is the story of Brixton Hunte
Book 2 out of the shadow is about King Hunte
Book 3 is all about Melody Hunte (and my favourite of the series)
Book 4 is all about Trent Washington (lead singer of The light rail and openers for for Hunte)
The novella Out of the void is the story of Colton, one of the Hunte band members.
This is a wonderfull interconnected collection that are best read in order. They can be read separately but much better as a collection.
Definitely a must read.

This is a wonderful box set about the members of a rock music family and all the twists and turns that life entails.

Love, laughter, lies, deceit, and anything in between.

This series is probably best read in order as to not get off the mark with the story line.. especially with the bonus novella added to this one.

Another great read by Arell, looking forward to what's next in her writing journey!
