Like the other books in this series, this is a short, instalove story that has a lot of heat. I have read all the other books in this series now but couldn't get into this story as much as the others - somehow the characters and plot wasn't as engaging as the other books. I will definitely read more upcoming books though!.

This is a short fast paced age gap romance with strong characters in Lennon and Alia. The author does a great job developing the story and pulled me in with all the action and steam. She moves the story smoothly and delivers a terrific read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.
Alia has a stalker that keeps breaking in to her apartment but since nothing is missing no one believes her. Her friend recommends a gym to learn self defense where she meets Lennon. As soon as Lennon sees Alia he wants to protect her. He knows something is wrong and he will step in to save her. I am a huge fan of instalove. The main characters chemistry was hot. Quick read.

As he was interacting with Trip his eyes fell on the beautiful young woman with chocolate eyes in the back of the class. He was immediately drawn to her. He taught that she was coming to talk to him but she took off real fast to the ladies locker room. He wasn't about to let her get away so he chase her down and caught her before she made it inside. He saw that she was a little skidish and didn't want to spook her. Alia is terrified in her own home, she comes home each day to find her things have been move around but no-one believes her, not even her best friend Gwen. Her only real friend at this point is her pet goldfish called Bubbles. Alia wants to take control of her life, so when it is suggested that she take self defense classes, she decides to finally stand up to the intruder. Meeting the owner of the gym Lennox changes something and she finds someone that believes her. His touch scorches her in a way that is new, but Lennox could have any woman that he wanted, why would he want a woman who suffers from OCD and that people believe that she is making up stories about being stalked, yet he is the one that comes when she calls. Is Lennox her Knight in shining armour and will he find the person stalking her?
Lennox is an ex-marine manager of a local gym; he was once the one in charge of self-defense classes, but it soon became obvious that the women attending classes were not there for anything other than to get into as many one-on-one situations with him as possible. He hasn’t been interested in a relationship or a hook up for a long time. It was just like any other day when he caught sight of Alia, his nephew forgotten as he watched this young woman struggle in herself defense class. He knew then and there that his life had changed and that she was what he had been waiting for. He can see how scared Alia is and vows to be the one to protect her no matter what he has to do. Can Lennox be the one to protect her from whoever is playing with her, and will he be the one to get the girl when all is said and done?
I was sad to think that this is the final book in this series, each one has been a joy to read, and I highly recommend you read each book from the start although they can be read as a standalone. Alia was a character that I wanted to cuddle and tell her that everything would be ok, I didn’t like the way that her friends disregarded what she was telling them so easily especially after reading their stories. Lennox was one of the best alpha male characters that I had read for a while. 4.5* Sad but awesome stars.
Lennon and Alia. She is being stalked. They are getting into her apartment and rearranging her things and no one will believe her not even the police. She is about to have a nervous breakdown. Then she decides to get protection classes. Shes watching and shes so overwhelmed that shes no getting the moves. Thats when Lennon sees her and hes instantly protective of her. His nephew has been trying to get him to open up his classes again maybe one on one and he definatlly doesnt want to and says no more than once. But after talking to he decides to protect her against all things he tells her he will give her one on one lessons. She tells him she will let him know and he gives her his number in case she cahnges her mind. When she gets home she can tell someones been there and thats all she can take she calls Lennon to come over and he believes her and finds some listening devices. Hes not leaving her here alone. They get to know each other intimantlly over the next few days. She wants him so bad that it scares her becasue she doesnt want to invision a future if he doesnt feel the same. Hes going to put cameras in her living room to catch the stalker but hes not telling her forsselfish reasons even though she would give him permission. He wants to be the one to catch him and punish him and doesnt want her to see that side of him. BAD IDEA NOT TELLING HER As hes finishing up the instalation he hears footsteps and a key in the lock so he hides thinking hes going to find the guy in person and when the person appears SHE says someones been in here and when he presents himself she screams. He trys to explain but hes screwed up and how do you explain why you're in her apartment installing cameras. This is bad. Then the sound of footsteps and key turning in the lock they retreat the his hiding place and they hear him talking and slaming her for getting another man. YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT OR WHO THE STALKER IS AND WHAT HAPPENS WITH LENNON AND ALIA. Absolutlly loved this story.

I love Cassi Hart novellas; they leave me feeling so satisfied and happy and this one does not disappoint. It is the really cute story of Alia (20) and Lennon (31) Alia is an adorable loner who’s best friend is her pet goldfish Bubbles. She is currently in college and very much keeps to herself with only one very good human friend.
Alia is beyond stressed and frightened because she knows that she has a stalker but her family, friends, and even the police are brushing off her concerns as nothing but stress from college. Thanks to her OCD, Alia notices the tiniest things being changed in her apartment while she is out. Eventually, the changes become more obvious, and she becomes desperate for help. Her friend’s husband gives her the name of a gym and his friend, a former Marine (Lennon) who was teaching self-defence classes at the gym.
When she arrives at the gym, Lennon is instantly drawn to her and recognizes that she is jumpy and afraid of something, and he wants nothing more than to protect her and slay her demons so that she is safe. Lennon offers her one on one training sessions with him and believes her about her stalker when Alia confides in him. She relies on Lennon since no one else in her life believes her and the two become close, neither being able to resist their intense chemistry.
Lennon becomes increasingly protective of her and even engages in some light stalkerish behaviour of his own in order to protect her. As their relationship heats up and they become intimate, the stalker takes notices, and his actions become more threatening. Lennon refuses to lose his girl and steps up to protect her when she needs him the most.
This story is steamy, romantic, sweet, and has the perfect amount of danger and violence. Alia is sweet, kind, smart, and determined to protect herself. You cannot help but really feel for her and the pain and stress she is going through, causing her to feel so isolated and afraid. Lennon is a gorgeous, kind, dangerous, loyal, loving, and total badass protector. He is an alphamallow who will make you swoon. I definitely recommend this wonderful little novella and will absolutely be reading it again.

I really enjoyed the story 'Her Twisted Protector' by Cassi Hart. It was about an innocent woman who had been tormented by a stalker for months only for the police and others not to believe her. Nothing was ever taken or broken into but having OCD, she knew when her things were not put back just as they had been by her. As a last resort, Alia went to a gym recommended by her friend's husband in order to take self-defense classes because she feels so helpless. The gym's owner sees Alia and is enamored with her. Lennon offers to give her private self-defense lessons when she admits to being frustrated at her inability to follow the instructor giving lessons to a class. He gives her his phone number to call him and is surprised when she calls him immediately upon arriving at her apartment. When she tells him she needs him he rushes to her apartment, and she tearfully explains to him about the stalker and how she can tell how her things are moved around. Lennon is irate on her behalf, and she is grateful that he believes her. He tells her that he will catch her stalker and he starts to comfort her. He finds it difficult to stop with just a lingering touch on her though because he lusts after her and he is overjoyed to find that she loves the feel of his hands on her and that she doesn't want him to stop. They both give in to their feelings and spend a passionate night together. Lennon is determined to find out who Alia's stalker is and vows no one but he will ever touch her.

This was slightly dark, but still a sweet story. The FMC is 1000% sure she’s being stalked because things keep getting moved in her home. She knows this because she has OCD, but the problem is, no one believes her because nothing is taken and she hasn’t been attacked, yet.
She goes to a gym across town at the recommendation of an MMC from a past story and whilst taking self-defense classes that she really is struggling with, she meets the MMC who offers her private self-defense training.
The MC’s are adorable together. I loved how protective the MMC was and that he was willing to go to great lengths to protect her, especially after she calls him one night crying after another break-in. The FMC is honestly hilarious. She’s super awkward and completely adorable, you can’t help but love her.
Like the other stories in the series, this one is fantastic, has some good steam, the story is compelling, the characters are fantastic, and it has a sweet ending ♥
I highly recommend this story, and the entire series if you haven’t read it yet!

I not only consumed this book, I absorbed it! I love Cassi Hart books and this one is amazing. Alia has a stalker but no one believes her. She’s been to the police and even her best friend basically dismisses her. Someone comes into her apartment and moves things and opens windows. Alia has major OCD, so she notices these things. After deciding to take some self defense classes, she meets Lennon. Lennon manages a gym and notices Alia. He is consumed by her, but in a good way. He wants to help Alia with her self defense class even offering for private lessons for her. Alia is very attracted to Lennon and does not understand his attention so she writes it off as just being a nice guy. When Alia gets home that evening, her goldfish has been moved! That is the final straw for her. Not knowing who to call, she finally calls Lennon for help. When she explains what has happened, she is relieved that he believes her. Desperate to keep her safe, Lennon takes this situation very seriously. He finds a listening device and looks for more. Afraid to scare Alia, Lennon is cautious in telling her about the device. There are quite a few steamy moments after this. Lennon knows that she is his forever. Alia cares for him but is afraid that Lennon will just walk away because she is not the kind of girl he is used to. Lennon is happy to prove otherwise. I enjoyed reading this book so much! It is a definite must read and reread! I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I just devoured this absolutely irresistible age gap romance that's both sweet and seriously steamy! Alia, a college student, is pretty sure she's got a stalker making her life miserable. But with everyone from her family to the police brushing off her concerns, she takes matters into her own hands by signing up for a self-defense class. That’s where she meets Lennon, a rugged ex-marine who's got a good decade on her.
From the moment Lennon lays eyes on Alia, his protective instincts kick into overdrive. He not only teaches her how to defend herself but also steps up to be her personal guardian. There's something so swoon-worthy about his immediate, intense need to protect her. And as things with her stalker start to heat up, having Lennon around turns out to be more than just comforting—it’s a game changer.
Their connection is instant and fiery, and the stakes get even higher as the danger closes in. Watching their relationship grow amid such intense circumstances was a thrill. If you're a fan of steamy romances with a protective hero, this story will hit all the right notes.

Alia is a college student who has been noticing strange things being moved around in her apartment. Since the changes are so minor no one is taking her seriously, including the police. The worst part is since Alia is organized and has OCD she knows for sure that things are happening and she is feeling more panic because there isn't anything she can do to stop it. She decides to try to take a self defense class at the gym one of her friend suggested. While there, Lennon spots her, and he can't take his eyes off her. He immediately senses something is wrong and decides he's going to figure out what is wrong with his girl and claim her in the process.
Three words to describe this short novelette: Steamy, Steamy, Steamy. Lennon and Alia have an instant connection and Lennon knows immediately he can't let it go. He quickly gets to the bottom of Alia's stalker situation and makes plans to make her safe. This is a quick read but a cute one. If you like protector romances with a lot of steam in a quick package, this is the read for you.

Alia is a college student who is certain that an unknown stalker has picked her for his next victim. None of her family or friends believe her, and the building manager implied that she didn’t have anything worth taking. Even the police are tired of taking reports of things being moved or changed. She may have OCD, but she's not crazy! Only Bubbles, her goldfish, doesn't question her sanity. If only Bubbles could talk or bite...
Lennon "Lenny" Stockholm is a former Marine who now manages a gym. His nephew has been trying to convince Lenny to start teaching self-defense classes again. Lenny quit teaching when he realized most of his students were there to flirt with him instead of learning. He's noticed Alia in the gym, and he finds her to be fascinating. When he discovers she needs help, he agrees to be her instructor. And no one better mess with his woman!

Part of Someone To Fight For series each can be read in under an hour or so with a very twisted sexy and the one he chosen to obsess over. Alia is sweet comfortable with being alone besides she is a true homebody but lately things feel a little off like she is constantly being watched, followed, they have even been in her apartment which is freaking her out considering she is a homebody and so she decides to take self-defense lessons out of the need to protect herself as best as possible. Lennon sexy as all get out gym owner, self-defense teacher, he has seen a lot the moment his new student comes in he knows something is wrong, but no one believes her, and he vows to ensure her safety by protecting her. The magnetic pull between them is undeniable which leads to private lessons and then some but when she heads home there isn’t a doubt someone has been in her home calling her protector but who is after her, who is stalking her, why are they stalking her, will he keep her safe as promised, and where are the two of them headed to something more than protection?
It's getting really silly but again....this book took my mind and blowed it away...I mean this series is the bomb! For one more time I fell in love with out couple and their story and their groin feelings and relationship, how they meet, how they connect, how they love each other (specially the man falling so deeply in love instantly), how protective of each other are. I love the trust they built, their need for each other, how he lives and breaths for her, her protection, her happiness...
I feel so sad that this series ended but I hope the next one will be so loved by me as this one. The way Cassi Heart writes her big, strong, burly and dangerous(for the others)men is exquisite and mouth watering and dreamy and make you jealous...I loved Lennon's and Alia's story...yet another virgin and her rough fighter(who turned to mush on her presence). I wish for an "all come together" book for these incredible couples bc I'm gonna miss the so much(lie they are all to my TO READ AGAIN list!!!!!).

This is book six in the Someone to Fight For series and, no surprise to anyone, it’s every bit as good as the rest of the series.
Alia, the FMC, was terrified; she had a stalker that was regularly breaking into her apartment, moving her things and preying on her OCD but no one, not her friends, parents or the police, would believe her. Fearful for her safety, she began taking self defense classes but was too intimidated and almost quit before the huge, gorgeous, tattooed, man offered to teach her one on one.
Lennon fell hard for Alia the moment he saw her and, though he never taught individual classes, he couldn’t resist the chance to be alone with her. Later, when she calls him, terrified because the stalker has escalated, he vows to protect her no matter what he has to do—or how he has to do it. He just hopes she can forgive him….

Our FMC has been labeled crazy by her family and friends as she knows she’s being stalked but no one else believes it. When a friend recommends a gym with self defense lessons, she meets our MMC and they quickly fall for each other. Their relationship leads the FMC to call the MMC when she comes home to find the stalker has struck again.
As the MMC tries to figure who the FMC knows who would stalk her (the stalker knows of her OCD), the FMC entrusts her safety to him. In the end, they catch the stalker and there’s a HEA.
(Just a continuity note to the author: in the final scenes, the FMC is said to be wearing a skirt and top with panties that get stolen by the MMC. But once they enter her apartment, you say she’s in a dress and the panties have miraculously returned (page 89, iirc). It’s not huge but I figured I’d let you know so it can be fixed if the book is ever re-published down the line.)
Her Twisted Protector is Book 6 of the Someone to Fight For series. It's a steamy, OTT, instalove, opposites-attract, girl gets her mma protector romance. Alia is a sweet, shy, and nerdy college student with a stalker. She is frustrated as no one believes her, thinking she is crazy. Lennon is a 31 year old hunky, ex-military man turned gym manager and fighter. When Alia shows up at the gym, he manages for self-defense classes. He is immediately drawn to her and feels the need to protect her. After their first lesson, he gives her his number. When she calls that night in fear, he goes rushing over. Can he find her stalker? Will he protect her? Yes, and yes!! This was over the top, sexy goodness at its finest. Their chemistry was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥 and we got an amazing HEA. I love this series so much!!!.

Closer than you think. Awesome. Alia isn’t crazy or stressed out as everyone seems to think when she tells them someone has been coming into her apartment and moving things. She decides to take a self defense class but, it doesn’t click with her. Lennon spots her watching the class and does something that he has never done before, he offers her private lessons after hearing her story. He will protect her and unbeknownst to her installs cameras to catch the person after finding devices hidden around her apartment. When Lennon is there hiding Alia unexpectedly returns finding him. Then, to their surprise her stalker enters the apartment voice his displeasure over the man she chose instead of him. When they confront him things go south for the stalker very quickly. Tune in to see who it is.

Her Twisted Protector by Cassi Hart is a quick read, ägë-gäp, ïnstä-lọvë, not the §ëxƴ-ƙïnɗ of §tälƙër vïɓë§, posessive hero story. Alia is a young college student living on her own and dealing with an escalating stalker. The police, her family & friends do not believe her. The stalker is entering her apartment daily and moving items around, opening windows etc. Alia joins a self-defense class at a gym that is managed by ex-Marine Lennon. Lennon sees her across the gym and knows he must find out more about her. He meets Alia, on that same day starts to teach her self-defense and falls for her. Alia reaches out to him in her hour of need. The §ëx is §sïżżlïṅg hot between Lennon & Alia.
Our heroine is sure she has a stalker, so she decides to learn self-defense. Our hero is certainly up to that challenge, but things might just be getting a bit more serious than either of them expected.
This is book six of the series, but it is written as a standalone so no issues there.
This is a short romances involving an alpha hero that might just be a bit obsessive. The stories are well written and easy to read with solid characters an occasionally tense situation. The plot moves at a good pace and includes a few twists and turns as well as plenty of steam all leading to a nice HEA. Overall, a very enjoyable story and I look forward to more in the series.
Highly recommended.

Alia is a sweet, innocent college student with a stalker. Not just a stalker, but also a creep. Alia has a stalker but no one believes her. She notices small things out of place in her apartment. She finally turns to self-defense classes but doesn’t feel like she is getting the concept. Lennon runs the gym and notices Alia right away. He offers her private lessons and decides that he will be her protector. I love Lennon. He such a possessive, protective alpha male. He takes charge and tries to fix all the wrong in Alia’s world. Alia is the complete opposite. She is shy, lacks self confidence and is vulnerable. Such a great read.

Convinced she has a stalker Alia doesn’t have anyone that believes her and thinks it’s all in her head, but she isn’t wrong. She gets put in touch with a self defense instructor so she can keep herself safe. When Lennon meets Alia he is instantly taken with her and wants to keep her safe, so he becomes a friend of sorts invested in her life. The day Alia knows for a fact she has a stalker the first person she calls is Lennon and he doesn’t hesitate to come to her rescue and he never doubts her for a second instantly going into protective mode. This quick read was steamy and emotional that kept me glued from start to finish.
I loved Her Twisted Protector : Alpha Hero Safe Stalker Romance Book 6 of Someone to Fight For. No one believes Alia when she says someone is stalking her, they think she’s imagining things. Everyone except Lennon, he never doubts her. When Alia wants to learn self defense she meets Lennon and her life will never be the same. Now she has an alpha protector and a stalker but one she wants to keep forever. Lennon won’t let anyone near Alia. I loved the storyline and the characters. Lennon will do anything for the woman he loves. I would definitely recommend Thais book and the series.

I absolutely love Cassi Hart's books. We got another great story. We are taken into the lives of Alia and Lennon. She has heard of a stalker and no one believes her, people keep getting broken into but nothing is taken. She goes to a gym for classes at the recommendation of a friend. That was the best thing she could have done because when Lennon sees her he immediately knows she is the one and does everything he can to protect her and keep her safe. A wonderful page tuner with drama, action, a bit of danger and a lot of steam. . I received an Advance Reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review
Her Twisted Protector is simply phenomenal! This hot and steamy novella features nerdy college female Alia who is being stalked, and despite all the challenges she faces she continues to fight through it. Lennon is a sexy ex-Marine who falls for her hard on first sight when he spies her in a self-defense class at his gym. His drive to protect, his kindness in the face of her stressors, and his keen observation skills—especially when it comes to Alia—are down right delicious. Their chemistry together is off the charts; this is a swoony sweet romance with a hot alpha book boyfriend!

This is a good addition to the "Someone to Fight For" series. It is a stand alone read that is fast paced and fairly short and quick to read. The story is about Alia and Lennon. Alia, a college student, who believes she has a stalker is having trouble convincing authorities to believe her. She is referred to Lennon, a self defense instructor with a military back ground. The attraction between them is strong and things develop quickly between them. However, her stalker decides to become more aggressive. I enjoyed this story and love the characters. It is a bit of an age gap story with some ups, downs, action, danger, hot passion and more.
