Not every CyberTitan made it off of the surface of Hyperion during the jailbreak. The cyborgs still in operation have banded together to survive despite constant Solcrue patrols and attempts to capture and decommission them. All the Titans want is to get off the planet and join their brothers on Ellipsis. Navi For two years, the memory of the Titans falling from the sky during the jailbreak has haunted me. My cruel master travels the galaxy experimenting on creatures of all kinds, trying to build a bridge between minds--telepathic communication like the Titans have but redesigned to work with flesh. What he doesn't realize is that it worked...on me. Living under his rule is torturous. What he does with his successful treatment is evil. I must destroy him and his research before the Solcrue get their hands on it. When I learn of their plan to meet at Hyperion's rebuilt facility, I know I have a chance at freedom and to destroy the research. After my attempt to sabotage the ship fails, a Titan rescues me. He is a whirlwind of raging energy, fury, and lust that I'm not ready for. He's an upbeat, hilarious, hottie that makes my mental controls slip, exposing my acquired skills to my master. I need to focus on my mission and not getting captured again. But Craze is a sexy beast of a soldier, and he won't let me forget it, and my master is hellbent on putting me back in my cage.CrazeWe've monitored Solcrue communications since the jailbreak, hoping for a chance to sneak into the plant and steal a ship. All of our attempts to date have failed. I won't risk anyone on the team for a chance at escape. My brothers are more important. But my plan to wait until the perfect opportunity arrives is royally screwed when we catch word of a research vessel meeting with Solcrue commanders. They have telepathic tech. One of our biggest advantages on the battlefield has been having a private communications network that spans great distances so we know all that is going on all of the time with our brothers. We fight with real-time updates. If Solcrue can acquire such information about us, we're in deep trouble. When we arrive to take down the crews and destroy the research, I discover the most beautiful firecracker of a female shredding the research ship. Sparks fly. Pulses rattle the walls. It's like a little tornado has ripped through everything. And I'm not just talking about the enemy vessel. The way she anticipates Solcrue moves and counters them with vehemence...I think I'm in love. But she's just one woman against two ranks of Solcrue. Navi's not a soldier. When I carry her to safety, the enemy isn't far behind. It seems I'm not the only one who knows how special she is. My brothers have called me the Berserker, a frenzied lunatic, and straight-up mad. I had practiced planning, thinking through attack maneuvers, something I was not always good at. When my eyes fall on Navi for the first time, instinct overrides all acquired programming. The Solcrue don't anticipate the insane things I'm willing to do to protect her. Will Craze be able to keep Navi safe and destroy the telepathic tech? Or will this be the beginning of a new era of battle where Titans lose their private telepathic advantage? A steamy one-love, fast-love, cyborg romance with action, violence, and cursing.

I am enjoying this series.

There is action, danger, pain, suffering, fun, and love.

Beneath their tough exterior lies a big-hearted man more human than machine, who would do anything to keep human women safe.

Craze is the seventh book in the Hunted Relics sci-fi series, where humans are the lower class, and Titans are used and abused by a race that takes what it wants and spits everything else out. Resistance is the only way to bring them to their knees, and that means uniting machines and humans. If only they could keep everyone safe.

Human brutally and systematically modified into a Titan, Navi has suff3red countless years of t0rment and experimentation of the worst kind by her captors. As the modifications progressed to augmenting her brain function with computer hardware, Navi saw her chance at escape and in a daring, bl00dy stand she freed her sisters and herself for the moment. While in the midst of the struggle, she’s aided by a powerful Titan she assumed was lost to battle two years earlier.

War weary with countless fallen comrades haunting his every moment but doomed to continue fighting nonetheless, Craze is collecting the latest of his grav3ly wounded c0mpatriots from a gri$ly skirmish when he witnesses a band of humans and hybrids fighting to escape the vessel which has just very roughly landed near him. Captivated in particular by one small but mighty female fighter, he swings into action and helps them escape before they’re all taken or kill3d.

Undeniably drawn together, Navi and Craze share the grim task of collecting the perished and comforting those left to di3, while plotting their next move as they hide from the forces who will continue to hunt them to extincti0n.

Finding comfort and passion with one another in the midst of chaos, will they survive long enough to forge a life together? Or will they
be forced to endure greater suffering apart?

This was another heart pounding, captivating book in the Hunted Relics series. If you’d asked me not that long ago how on earth I could possibly tolerate reading about bleak, dystopian worlds and romances among their inhabitants I would’ve strongly suggested I could never. Having read this author and a few others, however, it’s been a wild and wonderful experience.

I was fortunate to have been generously furnished an advance reader copy from the author and bookfunnel, and I’m happy to share my honest impressions.

Craze

This book in the series went back to the moon where the Titans were originally imprisoned. Some of the guys got left behind so we get to read their story. And the ultimate bad guy is showing up in person in this book.

This story was more intense imo - I got more upset reading about what the women are going through (as one should). More of it was happening on the page rather than in their past.

I'm still loving how the author distinguishes between the Titans really well. This MMC has some neuro divergence going on,

“I just can’t figure out how to think ahead. I’m an opportunist to a fault, but I also don’t think the Creators designed me to be broken. I just haven’t figured myself out yet.”

He is reminiscent of Redline and some of the others who have trouble slowing themselves down during a hyper focus to avoid burn out. Like many ADHD folks I've known, he tries to focus on the long view but …

“I hoped for an answer that would give me direction for this moment and the next. I’ve got to figure out how to make myself focus on something long term. I need to write a program.”

But the answer for him isn't adding programming - it's expanding his devotion to his brothers to include the MFC and the other women. And to get new inspiration to battle on against the bad guys. His strengths are exactly what help free her all along. And it's okay to outsource the planning - that's what Macabre and the MFC do.

Another great addition to the Hunted Relics series. The CyberTitan’s have finally been freed from their prison on Hyperion, but the last five were shot down before they were taken aboard the ship that came to rescue them. Craze and his brothers have survived for two years underground on the planet hoping for a ship to land that they can steal it. Finally, they get their chance!

Navi has lived on a Solcrue ship and been experimented on for four years. She has been tortured and implanted with many titan parts, each trying to get control of her brain. But she has been smarter than her evil creators and has learned how to take over the ship. She is just waiting for her chance when they finally land on the planet of Hyperion. With the help of Craze and his brothers, she is able to escape with the other women from the ship, but the cost is heavy.

Navi doesn’t trust anyone and is afraid to trust the CyberTitans. But they all need each other in order to survive. She and Craze team up to figure out how to defeat their enemies and find a way off the planet. But trust is earned and they don’t have much time!

This is a fast pace book with lots of action! An excellent book that grabs you and doesn’t let go until the end. Don’t miss it!

3.5 stars. Navi, the female lead, is a human who has been experimented on so that she now has a computer in her brain and cyborg systems perceive her as one of them. Craze, the male cyborg lead, is amazed to find his mate is a female cyborg and then shocked to realise she’s human. He vows to give her space and time in the hopes that she’ll choose him.

Then there’s the war they’re fighting against a common enemy that might kill them first.

This novella is dual POV, well written, and a darker, fast paced, adventurous sci fi story with a background romance - the romance only started at the 40% mark in the story, which is a bit late for me when I’m here for the romance primarily. The story is complex, with significant trauma for both lead characters in both the past and present, with certain expectations in the future. I enjoyed Navi’s resilience and perseverance. I enjoyed Craze’s neurodivergence and the way his fellow cyborgs made space for him. I enjoyed the relationship development that was present, though it felt too fast. I enjoyed the non-romance story as part of the series and am genuinely looking forward to the resolution of it.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

This is fast paced with action, romance and is so addictive that you will not want to put it down. Awesome story line and love the sci-fi world that the author has created.

Craze, another CyberTitan trying to escape Hyperion prison and has been surviving on the planet hidden in underground tunnels and caves with a handful of other CyberTitans. Navi, a human that has had cyber implants added to her body and brain over the last four years by the Solcrue while on the ship.

Due to her augmentations, she has learnt to master the controls of the ship and crashes it on the planet. Craze sees the ship coming down and goes to it and helps rescue several women, but unfortunately many are either killed or very badly injured. Initially he thinks Navi is a cyber woman, but eventually finds out that she is human. He does not think he is worthy of loving her and Navi is very cautious about the CyberTitans in trusting them. But to overcome their enemy they must work together.

I cannot wait until the next book is out to enjoy.

I received an ARC copy from the author and voluntarily leave this honest review.

“Let me keep you safe while you sleep. You can fight me tomorrow.”

For these two broken characters the magic doesn’t come from finding someone who will fix them, but in discovering someone who not only accepts them, but appreciates them as they are.

Craze may come across as impulsive and in the moment, but he gets things done, and fights for those he cares about.

Navi is likewise a fighter, pulling together a ragtag crew of survivors, determined to fight for each and every one of them.

This is the beginning of a new arc in the ongoing series, moving the overarching arc forward in an interesting and unexpected way.

Way Crazed!

This story really got to me. Putting the evil of these people - the Solcrue front and center through it all. These poor women have suffered so much unbelievable pain, that to just be off the ship and free, even for a moment, is a prize, it makes you cry. How Navi managed to live through it all and become almost like a Titan herself tells you much about the human spirit. Then Craze is also an amazing character. His spirit and caring for them all Titans and humans alike, just completes them. Great book!

The Hunted Relics series. This isn't a usual go to trope for me, but after reading the blurb, I wanted to read it, and I'm so glad I did.

This sexy sci-fi novel grabbed ahold and kept me engaged throughout!

Navi was an intricately developed character with so much strength! I adored her!

Enjoyed Craze!

Together they're dynamite!

I really need to read this series!

Very good!

Craze and Navi

Crazy Crave rushes in to danger with little regard to self preservation. He's all excitement and mayhem. Navi is a human experiment. She's endured a lot of modifications and pain during her years in captivity and she's more powerful than she knows. Together she and Craze, along with their CyberTitans and human female escapees are almost unstoppable. Join the ride as they fight to leave their prison moon. Enjoy!

A human woman and a male cyborg!

A human woman was captured by aliens who then did torture while cutting her up and adding Titan parts to her. A male cyborg and his brothers were helped to escape from an alien prison. During the escape the escape pods 5 of them were in was broken off from the others and landed back on the planet. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens to everyone. Happy reading!

Sybur Phyre is a master of sexy sci-fi in the Cyber Titans series. Craze is number 7 in the series and features Craze, a one of a king Titan who bonds with one of a kind female Navi who is a mix of Titan tech, human, and whatever else the evil Solcruean sadist scientists have done to her over the years. The battles are epic. The world is detailed. What an amazing addition to the series!

I recommend Ms. Phyre's work. Cyborg romance at its finest

This post apocolyptic world is crazy. So much material for stories. Angst level is low, which is so appreciated. There aren't many cyborg romance authors and Ms Phyre is one of the best. I am devouring as much of her series as I can find.

This book took a different direction, which is great! Navi and Craze worked well together to get their team to safety. It might have taken some twists and turns but what a kick. Enjoy

The Lost CyberTitans!

Craze is book 8 in the Hunted Relics series and I loved this perspective. I remember these CyberTitans from the first book and wondered what happened to them! Their story is exciting and explores a little more into the evil feats the Solcrue will go to to destroy the Humans and Titans.

Craze introduces a new and exciting group of women, additional dangers, old foes and more sexy CyberTitans. I am hoping these groups merge at some point in the series. I would love all the Titan brothers and Human sisters to see each other again!
