Unassuming, clear cut and no-nonsense pointers for a life more consciously lived, with more intent and full of joy; it could just as well have been called ‘more mindful’ or ‘deliberately more conscious living’; indeed a handy companion to the author’s excellent book ‘In praise of Slow’.

I first read Carls book "in praise of slow" a few years ago. I was, ironically, looking for a quick fix for my fomo as it felt like life was racing by and I had to set a frantic pace to even try to keep up. It left me exhausted and stressed out. Carls book showed me that I could take back the power in my own life and live life on my terms without missing out. I've changed a lot of things in my life using the tips from his first book and will definitely be trying out some of the tips in his new book. If you're looking to slow down your life and start living instead of surviving then Carl Honoré is the guy you should turn to. You will not regret reading any of his books.
