I'm not going to be rating this, as it was a textbook I had to read for school. However, I really enjoyed this! I think for a textbook/required reading, it was quite interesting and well written

This primer to corrections in Canada offers a comprehensive, yet superficial account of the correctional component of the criminal justice system. It does a better job than many of its counterparts of covering some of the key non-governmental contributions toward reintegration and advocacy. It does however mirror a largely systems-based approach to the topic. Likely a good resource for college level courses.
