Kind of a letdown - this is one of those books where you can almost feel the gears slowing down to set up more books later on. Nothing happens in Harmony, a character makes ominous statements, Dean gets left at a school to ostensibly be picked up at some unknown point in the future ... definitely makes for a good marathon, but it makes the highlights along this leg of the trip disappoint a little.
Seriously, did the authors have any contact at all with the first 29 installments??? Going to Harmonyville, Christy's hometown...to see her Uncle Titus McCann, who DIED in the first episode??? To maybe see her mother, who it was told was DEAD in the first episode??
