These five, full length, bestselling travel memoirs describe experiences as wide as breeding alpacas in Spain, helping at an animal refuge in Ecuador and back-packing in the Gobi Desert. And for foodies, there are some Spanish recipes to try.

Victoria Twead is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Amazon bestselling author. Eleven years living in a tiny, remote, mountain village in Spain and owning probably the most dangerous cockerel in Europe, inspired Victoria to write “Chickens, Mules and Two Old Fools”. Subsequent books in the Old Fools’ series continue to pop up.
So far, her husband has utterly failed to wrestle the laptop from Victoria’s vice-like grip and she continues to write and publish other authors' books in Australia. Another joyous life-chapter has begun for the pair.
What fantastic value! Five interesting and varied travel memoirs, a brilliant price. I have read three out of the five already; Chickens, Mules and Two Old Fools by Victoria Twead which tells us of her move to a new life in Spain with her husband Joe and their adventures. Told with humour and with some accompanying recipes of foods which crop up in the book. Alan Parks' book is also a winner; he and his partner Lorna tell of their experiences changing Brighton for Spain and breeding Alpacas and the joy, laughter and tears along the way. Joe Cawley's memoir tells of his experiences from a fish market in England to being a barman in Tenerife. Savannah Grace's memoir is unusual- strikingly subtitled 'I Grew My Boobs In China' and details how her mum wanted to 'up sticks' when Savannah was very young and sold possessions and the family set off travelling around the world for a few years. Tony Slater's book is about his experiences in Ecuador as a volunteer at an animal refuge. A fabulous bunch of books, great value, would make great holiday reading.
I started Five Bestselling Travel Memoirs Box Set on a Friday night and finished Sunday afternoon, mostly in my pajamas. Victoria Twead gives the story a sharp, funny pulse, especially in the scene where the whole group chat blows up over a single typo. It's easy to fly through, though it never goes as deep as it hints it will. Who this is for: readers who want something clever and quick. Who should pass: anybody hoping for a real emotional wallop.
Jump aboard and cruise your way through Spain, Ecuador, The Canaries, the Far East and back to Spain again; via chickens, crocodiles, fish markets, dragon's spines, adorable alpacas and lots lots more! If I could give Five Best-selling Travel Memoirs Box Set 25 stars, 5 stars for each book - I would.
A delightful set of travel related books from five authors. The books range from Spain to Asia to South America. The authors share the misadventures and adventures of travelling and living in other parts of the world.
I have read all these books and was glad to see them come as a set. I bought the set and sent it by kindle to one of my friends on goodreads!! Hope she enjoys them also.
I bought this by accident while reading the description, I had already read three of the books & was interested in the other 2. Even so, great value as I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
