I was a little nervous with the pacing in the beginning but the time jumps actually help set the scene for the type of friendship Sheila and Tremaine shared. They were there for one another through some tough times. It’s rare friendships, especially between the opposite sex last 15+ years, and remain completely platonic. Usually someone voices their interest at the wrong time and the friendship falls apart.
This story is how you hope things go when best friends start dating. But with Tremaine and Sheila. the "dating" part was non-existent. From Besties to husband and wife damn near over night! I loved how patient Tremaine was with Sheila. And I loved how comfortable Sheila was with Tremaine. Their love for each other is so clear, I kept yelling "USE YOUR WORDS! TELL HER/HIM HOW YOU FEEL."
That adjustment period from friend to lover is always make or breakup for a relationship. I was rooting for them he whole time! There love story was wholesome, and I loved how involved their families were ❤️
Would you marry your best friend who you know is an amazing man but currently lives in Korea??? I knew Tremaine had to be an amazing man for Sheila to even consider the marriage.
