3.5 stars, Oliver was more involved in this one so it made it more bearable. Not a bad mystery. Guessed the killer pretty early on

I listened to the audiobook. The English accented narrator was delightfully quirky... I think it is AI. While it doesn't detract from the story there are amusing mispronounced words.

Each story in this series is just a little better than the last one. In this one the main character, Juliet and her bookstore is sponsoring a Jane Austen event and had a Jane Austen expert speaking about the author. The speaker was nowhere near an expert as she believed herself to be and was a horrible person who ended up murdered. The plot is easily followed, and the premise is finding out who killed the expert and why. The answers were unfortunate and the killer was found. I definitely recommend this book.

I do enjoy this series, and I'm looking forward to the next. However, this book wasn't as good as the others so far. It was a little robotic and predictable. Not a lot of story. Fingers crossed for the next.

Although it was quick and predictable, I still enjoyed it, especially the Jane Austin bits. However, I don't like that their romance is happening in the background; I would have liked more of it. It seems like they got comfortable really fast with no explanation.
