I like this little book for Kindergarten level readers and it's a shame there's no bookcover, because what you would see is brilliant green bean pods.

The text in this book is exceedingly simple and is matched with appropriate color photographs.

The book takes children from Burpee seed packet to planting, flowering, picking to cleaning; and it uses phrases like:

beans in a packet
beans in a seed
beans in a hole
beans in a garden...

A nice little book worth getting out of the library for practice reading, or for sharing how things grow with younger children.
