A forgotten land. A fractured prophecy. A daughter torn between worlds.
Stubborn and powerful, a dangerous combination of light and dark, Nia could not have known what awaited her the day she stepped into Etherea. Faced with the impossible, Nia must travel the land to find answers and rescue her mother. Balancing on a knife's edge between good and evil, Nia must focus on freeing Etherea from her father's grip; and resist the temptation to join his side. Finding allies and enemies alike, join Nia as she navigates through the Fae world; finding love and heartache in between.
This is a perfect story for a beginner fantasy reader. It took me awhile to get into it but once i got sucked into Nia the FMC story and her quest i was very invested into finding out how things turn out for her. I love the strong FMC presence and think it's a perfect story for young female teen/adults. Nias mission to save her mother is a journey i enjoyed taking with her and i am looking foward to finding out if she is successful in her quest. The inclusion of Irish myths and legends was beautifully written and the way some male characters that you loved to only eventually hate and then the ones that you hated to eventually love.
I was looking for a good fantasy book suitable enough to introduce my eldest daughter to the fantasy genre and this will do perfectly 😊
Well done Shannon Leigh Moore on your first and hopefully not your last novel
