Reading "Looking for Rose" should be done before reading this book.

In the first book we find out about Rose's real father. Something her mother had kept from her all her life.

Twenty seven years ago a young woman met a Dominant who gave her the 2 most memorable nights of her life. But due to a vindictive woman's lies and Viola Whittman being young and insecure she ran. But not long after she found herself pregnant and in those times it wasnt acceptable to be an unwed mother. So to save face she got married to her best friend who was gay, also in a time when it wasnt acceptable, so both of there secrets could stay hidden. The man she married was Joe who along with his partner helped raise Rose and loved her like their own along with Viola. At the end of Looking for Rose, Vlad and Viola had come face to face after 27 years and the truth came out to both Rose and Vlad. This story is about Rose explaining to Vlad why she did what she did and her giving him 27 years worth of letters she wrote to him.

Even though this is a very short story the author did a thorough job of taking us as readers along with Vlad through the years of Viola's life from the moment she left him to a year before they met again. It was a gambit of emotions that were dealt with from both with a very satisfying. ending.

“Revealed” by Qwillia Rain is a short story that is part of the ‘Poker Posse’ series. Dominant Vladamir has discovered that his sensual relationship with Viola resulted in a daughter that he was denied for 27 years. Their searing attraction has persisted despite their years apart but they have to determine whether they can get past the sorrow and recriminations and move forward.

This incredibly poignant erotic short story gives a picture of a wonderful love story in an impressively compact fashion. The searing emotion presented through a couple of short and intense encounters is combined with brief letters that detail the love that surrounded a child who linked four different adults who made pivotal decisions that impacted upon all of their lives. A massive amount of information is presented in a deft manner so that even one who has no familiarity with the series can still appreciate the talent of this author to pen an emotional and sensual tale and become enamored of some of the characters who populate it. I look forward to reading other tales in this series.

Viola Whittman has been holding a secret that she never expected to reveal. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to, it is that she never thought she would see the one man she loved again. Vladamir Presnaytz lost Viola once, now he has to decide if he is willing to lose her again or if he can forgive her for the betrayal he just found out about.
