What's a dirty little story that I loved?

Completely silly premise, but look at any historical medical anything and this becomes pretty believable actually. And with lines like:
"He (Benjamin) was beginning to understand why the sperm of a man so big and strong could be good for him."
and
"It (Benjamin's dick) does not seem deviant, but we shall see how it feels to the touch."
Hehehe, yeah, let's do that.
How am I NOT going to love this story? Tom's subtle reactions to Benjamin and his request gave the silly a touch of unexpected sweet and made for a really fun read.

We're actually in the process of re-writing this one :D It will still be a ridiculous romp, but we're adding a few more scenes and even a love story with a HEA! :D It won't be your typical romance though since it will still have many different sexual encounters with different men, but there will also be a new love story woven in.

It was a few years back, at the end of a visit to the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland, that in the museum gift shop Agnes and I found a funny little booklet by Doussin-Dubreuil, which could be loosely translated as ‘The Dangers of Onanism’. First published in 1825, it is a hilarious, but also eye-opening, account for the modern reader. We’re both interested in sexology, so the little book provided insight into nineteenth century views on masturbation. It presented the author’s theory as fact, and it’s worth mentioning that Doussin-Dubreuil’s assumptions included gems like masturbation being the cause of epilepsy and consumption.
The quote that got my imagination going though was one from an 1832 translation of a work called ‘A Treatise on the Diseases produced by Onanism.’ by M.D. Tissot:
“Our bodies, and those of animals generally, are so constructed that in order for the alinment to acquire the degree of preparation necessary to nourish them, a certain quantity of the fluids, (...)are necessary. If they do not exist, digestion is imperfect, in proportion to the importance of the fluid deficient."
"(...)the seminal fluid, which has so much influence on the strength of the body and on the perfection of digestion which restores it, that physicians of every age have unanimously admitted, that the loss of one ounce of it, enfeebles more than forty ounces of blood."
There we go. Sound medical knowledge right there. Such ludicrous statements, based on nothing more than a doctor’s idea, inspired us to imagine what other outrageous ways of medicating ‘the disease of onanism’ could exist. And thus, ‘An Onanist’s Journey to Reclaiming His Seed’. was born. Hope you will enjoy this crazy, kinky regency romp!

*I picked this book as a part of my Funny pick of the month reading challenge, where I pick a book with a funny title or a cover and rate it.
This story is about a young twinkish aristocrat living in the regency era who has a dick problem - he can't stop jerking off and he's in quite the predicament, because as he's losing his seed, he's also gaining all sorts of health problems because of it, so he has to stop this right now!
And what better way than to go to a fake doctor to finger him and tell him he needs a hot young blue collar stud to fill him up??

This story is based on the perception of sexuality in that particular time, especially masturbation. I'm really, terribly sorry it was just the novella though, because I liked it a lot - A LOT. I was so hoping Benjamin and Tom would get their happy ending. Well, they did, sort of. So, our guy goes to his countryside residence and meets Tom, the stable boy. Tom's a hot, young, tall, ripped Adonis who sleeps with horses, has a long, thick cock and really liked what him and Benji were up to. It looked like Tom hasn't had sex either, at least not with a man, so when Benji asks politely

Oh, Benjamin. Benji, you innocent, gullible one, you.
Ben just can’t keep his hands out of his pants. He’s losing his vim and vigor and his eyesight is failing. He fears that all the fapping is not only draining his valuable seed but his life’s essence as well.

What’s a fellow to do?
He gets some very unorthodox help from a shifty ‘doctor’ who offers a very unorthodox treatment. Let’s just say, Ben needs to ‘take in’ as much seed as he emits. Then it’ll be all’s well that ends well. (Ha!) I love how Ben goes about finding his ‘donor’.
These two writers, Kat and Agnes (K.A.), are obviously having bucket-loads of fun offering up these titillating tidbits of turpitude. Their research into Regency era misconceptions about human physiology and sex via a found text gave inspiration:
“(…) the seminal fluid (…) has so much influence on the strength of the body…that physicians (…) have unanimously admitted, that the loss of one ounce of it, enfeebles more than forty ounces of blood.”
While Ben is forever tumescent, his story is a little thin on substance. Another quibble… there’s a quick ending that’s not quite an ending. Well, for the reader anyway. (ahem) More points if this had been more fleshed out. (stop me now)
Really, though, it’s well done for what it is, and hot fun.

A short, quirky little romance inspired by some ridiculous views espoused in Victorian medical literature. The authors are well aware that the premise is silly, so if you take that with a grain of salt, the story is fun and entertaining. Benjamin is a rather vapid and gullible nobleman, so I don't know if I really liked him much, but his treatment of Tom was far more sensitive than it might have been, given the class difference between the two. Tom was sweet and sexy, and the fantasy of having sex with the rugged stable boy is pleasant enough. I always cringe a bit when it comes to romances between people of different classes in Victorians, because I can't imagine it really turning out very well. Regardless, it's a light, enjoyable read.

So, I read this story over breakfast the other day. Snickering quickly progressed to giggling then outright cackling, while the “smexy” scenes had me “squeeing” with glee! Needless to say, I was a bit late for work;-)
This story is just wonderful, so dirty & funny, but also kind of sweet. That’s what I like about K.A. Merikan. Their stories are dirty & titillating, often humorous, frequently shocking, sometimes angsty, but whatever else they are, I find there is always an “aww” factor somewhere in there to touch my heart as well. To me, the main characters are almost always endearing in some way & their stories always leave room for some degree of tenderness or affection between them, even in the most unlikely of circumstances. This story is no exception. And to me this is part of what elevates stories like this from what some might call mere erotica or even pornography, to the category of romance, or erotic romance, if you will. Not that there's anything wrong with that ;-)
Anyway, this was a great, quick read I would definitely recommend to fans of the M/M genre. And if you haven’t read anything by K.A. Merikan before, this is a good one to try. By the way, I thought the title was inspired! The cover is also a nice touch, giving the book the appearance of a piece of authentic Victorian erotica.

This is a hot little read that unfortunately has the same issue as many other Merikan stories- it's too mother truckin' short! You are so engaged in the plot that you don't even notice the 100% mark creeping up on you and when you reach the end you seriously are not ready to let go yet. I can only regret that this story was never expanded upon as I would have really liked to have know what happens next to Benjamin and Tom.

This was, without a doubt, the most fun I’ve had with a Regency book in ages!! Poor Benjamin, he’s a self-polluter and now he is losing his eyesight, feeling poorly and afraid he will never be able to give a woman children. The horror!

I'm not quite sure what to say about this one....erm...hahaha...squirm...*snorts*...lolling tongue.... What a funny, quirky, sweet, sexy and madcap story! This is my fourth KA Merikan story and with each one I'm finding myself more and more enamoured with their style of writing and quick wit! Bloody marvellous!

This was a clever and very hot little story built around the old fashioned ideas about the detrimental effects of "self abuse" on one's health and future ability to have children.

What starts out as a serious medical concern eventually leads to a pleasurable therapy for Benjamin. His quest to improve his health and prolong his life is intense and he means to find the best care possible. Once he does, the treatment is far more sensual than he ever imagined.

Written with tongue firmly placed in cheek, K.A. Merikan visit the Regency Era, when the natural hilarity of believing that spilling one’s own seed somehow drained a man’s life force wasn’t some religious preaching from the pulpit, it was supported by the medical science of the time, and Benjamin Snowley’s physician has some fun but fairly unorthodox ways of helping Benjamin recover a bit of his essence after what could only be considered a masturbatory marathon.

Completly Porny, and corny. Kinda hot, with lots of chuckles.
Anything that even hints at historical usually has be running away, but the promt for this was to dang funny to pass up. I imagined it was the doctor convincing him he needed to give him a bj...but that's not how it turned out. Kinda weird to say, but it was a little sweet too.
