Most like the author C. Arnold Snyder's style and find it an interesting read. He throws in enough stories so that the history doesn't get too dry.
He does an excellent job covering the various aspects of the Anabaptist movement from its origins to the present, with a strong focus on its 16th century beginnings.
There are some spelling and grammar mistakes, but that doesn't take away from the books content.
I am reading this for a 2nd year Anabaptist Beginnings class. I love Snyder's style and it is an interesting read. He throws in enough stories so that the history doesn't get too dry and the formatting in the Student version make life much easier in terms of breaking things down and leaving room for notes.

There are a number of spelling and grammar mistakes that I always want to let the author/publisher/editor know about, but that doesn't take away from the books content.
