This was my very "first" book. I published it originally kind of as an experiment, and I took it off print, but it won't come off of goodreads. I promise to re-write it and re-publish it eventually.

D.C. Renee

DC Renee is a contemporary romance fiction author who tends to write stand alone novels that always shock you with a twist. She's been writing all her life. It started with adorable rhyming poems as a kid for anniversary and birthday presents, moved onto monologues and short stories as a teen, then transitioned to fan fictions before she found the courage to publish a book.

DC lives in sunny and (mostly) warm Los Angeles with her husband and their two toddlers - a girl and boy that want to "work just like mama," often climbing in her lap and "writing" on her computer. She's very close with her entire family - extended included, and her sister is her muse.

When she's not working, writing, and spending time with the family, she loves watching mindless TV, tinkering with diy projects, and of course, reading.

Where did this author come from? Wow, I am an avid reader and love reading all kinds of genres. However, I always have one romantic based novel on rotation, and of course my favorite go-to authors. But every now and again I give an unknown author a chance. And this time, I am very glad that I did... D.c. Renee is in a class of her own, and reading More Than Enough was such a joy. The characters in More Than Enough are more real as are the situations. What struck me as most attractive in the way the author wrote this page turner was her descriptive writing style. It allowed for my imagination to fully engage in what felt like a vivid movie in my head. Needless to say, I finished the book within two days.

It is not often that I give new writers a chance, after several chapters I usually zone out. However, D.C. Renee is golden, and I have a feeling will be a very popular writer soon. I am anxiously waiting for the release of book number 2!

This book had everything a romantic novel should:

1. Amazing characters: Check! David and Joanne, through good and bad, you could sympathize with them and David...oh man, how he loves her!
2. Great Story: Check!
3. The I-am-on-the-edge-of-my-seat Climax: Check! Because let's be realistic, we don't wanna ready about the perfect relationship throughout the whole book!
4. Great Writing: Check! Even though a bit too descriptive at times for my taste, but Check!

The Prologue in the beginning of the book was very clever, even thought at first I was hesitant that it cast a bad foreshadowing but it played out very well.

So much suspense..I was on vacation and i could NOT put it down! The twists, the turns, the mystery...just when I thought I had it all figured out, there was always more. It's not the typical cliché love story. Can't wait for a sequel, if there will be one? Keeping my fingers crossed.

From the moment I started More Than Enough, I couldn't put it down. I read it all in one seating. You can't help but feel for the characters. Poor Joanne and wow, David, who wouldn't want a guy like that. The book is captivating and I couldn't wait to see what happens next. Can't wait to read more about the true romance about Joanne and David....dying for the sequel to come out!!! :)

From the first moment that David Retin saw Joanne Anders when she was walking down the street crying he knew that there was something special about her. When David finally worked up the nerve to call Joanne and check on her he knew that he had to find a way to see this beautiful woman again, so he told her that he needed her help to improve his image so that he could keep his job. David and Joanne developed a wonderful friendship but deep down David knows that he wants to be much more than a friend to Joanne. Thanks to a night filled with a lot of liquid courage David finally works up the courage to tell Joanne how he feels and is shocked and pleasantly surprised to find out that she feels the same way about him. Joanne and David seem to have the perfect relationship until an accidental discovery one night leaves David with a very difficult decision to make. David realizes that his and Joanne’s pasts are connected in a way that no one could have ever suspected. Should he tell Joanne about this discovery or should he keep it a secret? And if he tells her, will their love be strong enough to survive?

I love to give new authors a try, and D.C. Renee did not disappoint with this book. She had everything in here that makes a book a pleasure to read. I was captivated by the characters and the twists and turns that Ms. Renee gave readers throughout this entire book. She kept me on the edge of my seat with suspense wondering if David and Joanne would get their happily ever after. I love to read a book that keeps your mind working the entire time that you are reading. I will definitely be looking for the sequel to this book so that I can find out if David and Joanne’s love was “More Than Enough” to keep them together. I give this book 4 stars!!!
