The author uses hyper linked end notes to annotate Marina's testimony and depositions, providing background and analysis. Appenidx II is a complete transcription of all of Marina Oswald's depositions, beginning with The President’s Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy (aka "The Warren Commission") in February of 1964, and ending in 1978 with the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committe on Assassination. The reader should carefully note the metamorphosis of Marina's story that takes place with the passage of years.
Appendix II of Walt Brown's Master Chronology covers the testimonies from Marina Oswald/Porter to the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations. What will be blatantly obvious to the reader of these official government transcripts will be the vague memory recall exhibited by the witness to both investigations, from a woman who remains as enigmatic as her late husband. Also what comes across, particularly from the interrogations of the House Committee, is the seeming lack of comprehension of the facts of the case by the people asking the questions and the repetition of the questions asked. Many border on the idiotic, as though the people posing the questions were just ignoramuses. Appendix II is the first in this series that I have come across that is accompanied with the text annotated, which provides these transcripts with Walt Brown's excellent notes and corrections, not to mention his incisive wit. I was hoping that the testimony Marina gave to the Garrison trial would have been included in this collection and perhaps even her question and answer sessions from her appearance at the Harvard Convention. Apart from the Warren and HSCA publications, this must be the first time that these complete transcripts have been published in their entirety. Certainly not bedtime reading. Strictly for the dedicated anorak.
