The Alpha who rejected me just knocked me up. I’ve known him all my life. Everyone thought we’d end up together. Until he crushed my heart publicly. I fled in humiliation. But fate forces me back to our small town. And now my fated mate wants me back.
I started over after he shattered my heart. I built a new life on my own. But fate has a way of haunting you. The crushing pain he caused still coats my vulnerable body. The cruel words he said still burn in my thirsty mouth.
He thinks that as the Alpha, he can order me around. And even though I try to resist, I know he’s always owned me. His tongue owns my treacherous body, responding desperately to him. His hands own my growing belly, aching for his liquid love.
Can I let the Alpha heal my broken heart?
The mysterious wolves of Rosewood are hunted, haunted, and protective as hell. If they choose you as their mate, you don’t stand a chance. They will heal their cruelty, soothe your pain, and love you ruthlessly no matter the consequences.
They not fated mates Soon to be alpha does say mean things to her after she tells him she likes him They don't sleep together she runs away with hurt feelings No pregnancy Goes back after 8 yrs They make up Choose each other as mates
I didn’t enjoy this story and I also felt that the story blurb is misleading.
Throughout the entire book, I never felt any real chemistry between the main characters. They’re supposed to be best friends, but after graduation, he says some hurtful things, and she leaves town for eight years. Only to come back because of a threat to the town and Alpha, who is her ex-best friend. When she finally comes back, they argue again, randomly sleep together, and suddenly she’s pregnant. It didn’t feel like a genuine fated mates story at all, and after she tells him about the pregnancy, there’s hardly any affection between them but he decides to make her his Luna.
All in all this story didn’t work for me.
🖤Paranormal Romance 🖤Werewolves 🖤Pregnancy is at the very end of story. 🖤MF 🖤HEA
WoW, must say; I love it when new concepts are presented!! Yet, typical Alpha-Rejected Love BUT I sooo enjoy it 🤎 Actually liked the closeness of this pack too😉 Great writing, easy flow, nice & passionate too❤️ Looking forward to the series 💋
❓The only thing that I wondered about was before/after they shift… didn’t seem to catch anyone getting dressed, clothes magically shifted with them or the whole naked thing being skipped over???
This book honestly feels like it was written by AI, and I hope it was because it was not good. The plot development, and character motivations lacked any kind of depth or feeling of being real. Communication based conflict, instead of situational. Which is a lazy way to write that lacks any kind of connection to how people actually act. Positive was that it was only a two hour read.
Nice read, very little bullying but no mention of mates made the story a lot different, more humanised maybe. Loved the characters, especially the side characters, a few pot holes, gramma and spelling mistakes but those didn’t deter from the overall feel of the story.
Good story, it has a familiar feel to it. I kept thinking I've read this before. I wish it was more steamy and forceful. With words like Alpha and rejected kind of expected it.
Luna Walker has done a wonderful job of bringing her characters to life. She has incorporated all the feels into this story. You will not be disappointed.
I liked the story, it was not the run of the mill storyline. Characters were great. I was surprised there was no talk of fated mates. I did like the twist at the end.
75% of this book I felt I had already read. I have never had this book shelved. The whole father scenario, was straight out of another book I’ve read in the past year.
