William (Bill) Hart Hayt, Jr. earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He served on several boards and committees. He retired from Purdue in 1986 as Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering.
