I know Jim, one of the good guys, although I’ve never understood why he carries a huge backpack around stuffed with things so he’s ready for WWW3. But he’s at the top of his game in security so I trust his judgements.
This book is a good basic overview of security, nice for a starter or for a professional as a refresher. It’s full of tips on how to run effective security in a company but only touches on the basics. With all Jim’s experience it would have been nice to have some examples and war stories which would have added some context to the book. However, I can’t understand why the book didn’t have any page numbers. Criminal!
