The red planet Mars has always been a subject of intrigue. Many scientists the world over have tried to explore the possibility of life there and various movies and novels have also been crafted dedicating to the same. Though I haven't read a fictional tale yet but this book quenched my thirst for that too.

The story is set around the corridors of ancient Egyptian civilization and seamlessly connects the present modern technological art. It narrates a tale about an individual who wants to colonize Mars and mentions about a cultural man of repute Pharaoh Ankhenaten. It not only entertains you with its extremely adventurous ride but also simplifies the complex concepts of physics particularly related to Rocket Science .

The author has done a great deal of research which is visible from the word go. The kind of world creation he has done blending the old and new age art exemplifying the worth of each character is an experience to behold. The two timelines are running parallely and how in the end both connects and everything seems to make perfect sense is a skill in itself. The cover page is quite comprehensive too and fits well with the content inside the novel.

Overall a good enough read for all the science fiction enthusiasts out there.

In the nexus of ancient mysteries and futuristic dreams, a visionary yearns to colonize Mars. Rooted in 1300 BC Ancient Egypt, Pharaoh Amenhotep III, guided by ‘visitors from the sun-disc,’ alters fate to save his son Ankhenaten. Jump to 2021, Simdega, Jharkhand, where a deadly creature near the Space Tech Facility triggers intrigue. Dr. Daniel Soren joins Noel Minj’s Mars Colonization Project, and ‘The Starship’ promises a Martian future. As cosmic connections tighten, secrets unravel, prompting existential questions. In this riveting odyssey, the Mars mission intertwines with ancient enigmas and the cosmic unknown, weaving a tapestry of discovery and ambition.

The book has two timelines going on, that come together beautifully at the end, making it a masterpiece! The book has every element that makes a story amazing – thrill, myth, action, adventure, tragedy, and science! Imagine what a power-pact story this was! I was awake the whole night finishing this book at one go, as I simply couldn’t stop myself from finishing it. This shows how beautifully the author has presented the story, written the characters, and executed the plot.

It is difficult to intertwine many subgenres together without any loopholes, but the author skillfully does so. The highlights of Egyptian history present in the book fascinated me a lot. And the blend of science with historical fiction brings out a new genre that has become my favorite indeed! Razi’s composing style is profound and suggestive, taking perusers from the cutting-edge labs of a modern space community to the dusty rises of old Egypt. Even though you don’t like science fiction, you will love this story!

The Mars Conspiracy by Razi is a pacy, thrilling read if you're into sci-fi and ancient mythology. Combine the two with some modern day drama, you've got yourself an edge-of-the-seat suspense fiction.

The book begins with strange sightings of what might be UFOs and weird nocturnal activities near a space research facility in Jharkhand and then we're introduced to several scientists and their researches and the events leading to the present occurrences.

There are also the chapters that cover Egyptian Stories which I found very interesting and the alternating Timelines made the book smooth to read. I did learn some fun facts about Egyptian history and Science, however crude they were.

Razi is a talented storyteller with the knack of weaving fact and fiction with his creativity.

Overall 3.4 rounded to 4 stars.

"The Mars Conspiracy” by Razi is an engaging mix of science fiction and historical narrative, transporting readers from ancient Egypt to a futuristic Mars colonization. The narrative intertwines the enigmatic Pharaoh Ankhenaten with a contemporary Mars mission, known as “Her Deshur” in Egyptian lore, sparking curiosity about our cosmic role and extraterrestrial life.

What stands out in this book is the straightforward storytelling, which renders complex scientific concepts accessible. The plot is meticulously crafted, balancing scientific accuracy and imaginative fiction, making for an absorbing read. The story unfolds across two timelines: one in 1300 BC at Ancient Egypt and another in the present day.

The pace is brisk, and the writing is so captivating that it’s hard to put the book down. Although it starts off abruptly, the intensity builds up, ensuring a thrilling experience.

The characters are richly portrayed, with their hidden motives adding layers of mystery that keep the reader engaged till the very end. For sci-fi enthusiasts familiar with the genre’s cinema, the book’s vivid descriptions allow for a cinematic reading experience, as if watching a movie through words.

Classifying this book into a single genre is challenging; it’s a blend of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Mythology, Suspense, and Thriller.

However, no book is without its flaws. The plot could be more expansive, and its reader-friendly approach makes it somewhat predictable for seasoned readers, like I anticipated the ending 50 pages before it concluded. Additionally, the book cleverly incorporates an anagram of Elon Musk’s name, “Noel,” which could be a nod to SpaceX.

In summary, “The Mars Conspiracy” is a compelling read for science fiction aficionados and those intrigued by the mysteries of the unknown. It stands as a testament to Razi’s skill in crafting a narrative that is as informative as it is exhilarating, making it a noteworthy addition to the genre.

The Mars Conspiracy talks about the existence of aliens'discovery of its base and history. It runs in a parallel world with different time periods and different perspectives. It is to be tested whether the space industry runs for another existing planet which is Mars or an importance of essentialism life is already existing through mythology. It is to be discovered that the seed of disrupted incidents has already been sown and its consequences are being faced by the present era.

Collecting the witnessing of crop circles in Simdega, Jharkhand which led the witnesses to dig out the conspiracy of the near space station outlet. It seems to project the theory with a different point of view and a typical belief among human beings.

It is captivating to note a threat that has been weaving by humans to humans.

Mythical aspects of Egypt led to the history of Pharaoh Ankhenaten whose presence has been considered as a disputation. His life was engrossed with several mysteries which ended with an unsolved note. It is to be believed to have a root connection with sun-disc where he not only saved his life but also his beloved wife Nefriti's life as well.

Later to be arranged a project for its further settlement and then comes a point of meeting two parallel worlds. The turning point was not even registered by the characters who considered their every move as their ultimate achievement. The minute details have captured the space universe beautifully and also to credit the author's research.

The blend of science, fiction and mythology uplifted the book in a wonderful way. To not only dwell with provocative thoughts but also to note facts about an industry has been portrayed very significantly. A futuristic lead which captured the ancient, present and dark side of the technical industry as well as human nature.

This book is so new for me in Indian Science fiction. It mixes Alien Conspiracy theories with Egyptian civilization. Both of these concepts are very intriguing and my favourites.

This book set in two timelines and location -- 1300 BC,ancient egypt and 2021, Jharkhand. Whats the mysterious story behind the rebel Pharoah Ankhenaten and what connection does he has with the sun disc?

I enjoyed learning new about Egyptian culture and lm almost convinced that aliens exist forgetting this is a fiction, but hey, there's no smoke without fire!! And the author has given some easy explanations to understand some physics concept, helpful for ppl like me. And I'm so shocked and excited that this has a sequel and I'm eagerly waiting for that!❤️🫶

The book, The Mars Conspiracy, revolves around ancient Egypt, space exploration, and a looming secret—all wrapped into one thrilling combination for readers who enjoy fast-paced sci-fi with a touch of mystery.
While I'm not much of a sci-fi enthusiast myself, the blend of history and mystery made it an interesting read. The story cleverly combines space exploration with a historical mystery linked to ancient Egypt. This unique blend could be appealing for fans of sci-fi with a touch of conspiracy and historical intrigue. The use of parallel timelines, one in 1300 BC ancient Egypt and another in the 21st century, adds another layer of interest to the narrative.
Author Razi has clearly done their research, as the details about space travel and technology add depth to the sci-fi aspects. The inclusion of reusable rockets, scientific details about missions to establish a human colony on Mars, and references to UFOs all contribute to a believable future setting.
However, at times, the focus on factual details can feel overwhelming, making the story feel more like a thesis than a thrilling narrative. Additionally, the characters, particularly Daniel and David, lack personality development. A bit more backstory about their backgrounds and experiences could help readers understand their circumstances better.
Overall, The Mars Conspiracy is a page-turner with plenty of twists and turns. Fans of sci-fi with a historical twist and a touch of mystery will likely enjoy it. However, it's important to approach this book as a work of fiction, not a factual account

The Mars Conspiracy by Dr. Razi Ahmed

Pages: 325
Genre: Science Fiction
Ratings: 4.1/5⭐️

"Mars Conspiracy" by Dr. Razi Ahmed is an intriguing blend of science fiction and mystery that kept me hooked from start to finish. While I typically steer clear of science fiction novels, this one grabbed my attention with its unique premise and well-developed characters. The author's use of alternating timelines and locations adds an extra layer of complexity to the story, keeping readers guessing until the very end. I found myself eagerly flipping through the pages, eager to unravel the secrets hidden within the plot.

One aspect that particularly impressed me was the author's attention to detail when it came to scientific concepts and historical references. Even as someone who isn't well-versed in these topics, I found the explanations easy to follow and engaging. However, I did find the pacing to be a bit uneven at times, with certain sections dragging on longer than necessary. Additionally, while the characters were interesting, I felt that some of their motivations could have been fleshed out more fully.

Overall, "Mars Conspiracy" is a solid read that will appeal to fans of science fiction and mystery alike. It's a thought-provoking journey into the unknown, filled with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end.

The topic of celestial bodies has always been an interest for me. ⭐
We all know how mars has always been a topic of discussion in regards to the existence of life; it's characteristics, features and similarities to that of the planet earth and it had always intruged me. 💥
I've only heard about this in the news and stuff but this was the first time I read a book around it and that too in the fiction genre which is my fav 😍
This book is set in two timelines: 1300 BC, Ancient Egypt and 2021, Simdega, Jharkhand. ⏰ The modern time scientist named Pharaoh Ankhenaten along with ancient Egyptian civilization want to succeed in the mission of colonising mars 🔴
Will they be able to do so? 🤔Read the book to find out‼️⁉️‼️❗❗
Every element present in this book made it attractive, eye-catching and enthusiastic and I was always on the verge of knowing and reading more about the same. 💗 the attention to detail here is amazing. ⚡
The print is very small here as per my liking which was making it a lil difficult for me to concentrate but I think it's my personal choice so won't say much about that. 👍
If topics like planets, UFOs, universe and cosmic bodies interests you, I really think you'll enjoy this read. ⭐ 🎇

First off, this is one of those books, which you come across very rarely and you regret the moment you are done reading it. The book kept me up, gave me chills and what not. The story is also very unique. Sure it has action and drama, but this book's main plot is about a Pharaoh, an enigmatic scientist of our modern times who wants humankind to become an interplanetary being and take them to Mars. And lots of juicy and sexy conspiracies. How they connect? That's what we need to find out...

The Mars Conspiracy is a gripping fusion of science fiction and historical intrigue, masterfully crafted by Dr. Razi Ahmed Set across multiple time periods, the novel intricately weaves together a complex narrative that challenges perceptions of time and reality. The story unfolds across centuries, revealing interconnected threads that keep readers on the edge of their seats. The author masterfully crafts a narrative that challenges perceptions of time and reality, leading readers on a thrilling journey through parallel worlds and alternate timelines.

The story swings between two timelines: Ancient Egypt (1300 BC) and a future date (possibly around 2021). In ancient Egypt, Pharaoh Amenhotep III seeks help from mysterious beings to save his ailing son, Ankhenaten. These beings, hinted to be extraterrestrial, alter Ankhenaten in some way. Fast forward to the present 2021, A prestigious Mars colonization project is underway, spearheaded by the enigmatic Noel Minj. Dr. Daniel Soren, a brilliant scientist, joins the project. Strange occurrences plague the project site, including a creature attack and a crop circle.

As Dr. Soren delves deeper, he uncovers a connection between the Pharaoh Ankhenaten, the ancient visitors, and the Mars mission. Noel Minj's motives and the true purpose of the mission become shrouded in secrecy. The biggest question: Are we truly alone in the universe, and is the mission to Mars what it seems? The narrative keeps you guessing with hidden clues, cryptic messages, and the constant threat of danger. Dr. Soren must navigate a web of deceit as he tries to unravel the truth behind the Mars project and its connection to the past.

The prose effortlessly transports readers through time and space, painting vivid landscapes of ancient civilizations and futuristic landscapes alike. The characters are richly drawn, each with their own motivations and secrets that add depth to the narrative. From Dr. Soren's determined pursuit of truth to the enigmatic figures he encounters along the way, every interaction feels consequential to the overarching mystery.

One of the novel's greatest strengths lies in its richly detailed world-building. Each time period is vividly depicted, with meticulous attention to historical accuracy and scientific plausibility. Whether exploring the bustling streets of ancient Egypt or the sprawling metropolises and space mission of the distant future, readers are fully immersed in each setting, experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells of a world both familiar and strange. Also the key factor is its ability to seamlessly transition between time periods while maintaining a cohesive storyline.

It maintains a dynamic pacing that keeps readers engaged from start to finish. Despite the intricate narrative structure and the frequent jumps between time periods, the pacing never feels rushed or disjointed. The writing style is both elegant and accessible, striking a perfect balance between descriptive prose and propulsive action. From the grandeur of ancient civilizations to the technological wonders of the distant future, every detail is rendered with meticulous precision, drawing readers deeper into the story with each passing page.

Overall it is a captivating journey through time and space, filled with twists and turns. It's a testament to the power of storytelling to transport readers across time and space, leaving them pondering the mysteries of existence long after the final page is turned. With its intricate plot, vibrant characters, and philosophical underpinnings, it will appeal to fans of both science fiction and historical fiction alike.

Mars and Egypt have been a popular subject for science fiction, especially when it comes to stories of extraterrestrial beings. HG Wells had done it, History TV's infamously racist show Ancient Aliens had done it. Dr. Razi Ahmed does it too, in a new way that incorporates its old legacy.

Recent studies on Mars and planets that support life have become popular subjects for the public. So this book comes at an opportune moment. It utilises common knowledge with more technical aspects to produce an exciting fiction.

The pacing of the book is commendable, and it rises and falls well. The plot structure makes sure you're hooked, and the multitude of characters are easy to keep track of. The more academic or historical elements are explained well, which proves great for readers unaware of them without resorting to the internet.

Overall the book addresses both the benefits and the nuances of astronomical advancements, fitting within itself a veritable plot twist. The narrative jumping from the present to the past also fits in well. It's a great casual read, and entertaining in the way it's written.

Now here are the things I wish could be done differently. First off, the copy errors are noticeable. For me those become a bit interruptive. However I did gloss over them as the narrative picked up pace. Second, I would like to address two elements of the Ancient Egyptian scenes: calling Prince Amenhotep, son of Pharaoh Amenhotep III as "Amenhotep IV". From a historian's viewpoint, princes are not given the suffix of number; it is only reserved for kings. While it is important to separate the pharaoh from the prince, this was a huge error that couldn't be overlooked. The other aspect is Prince Amenhotep's pharaoh name: Akhenaten. The book uses "Ankhenaten", to separate him from his city Amarna, or Akhenaten. However, anglicised spellings don't recognise "Ankhenaten", and depends on the verbs amd pronouns to separate the pharaoh from the city. Amarna is also called by this name, making this error very difficult to ignore. Another odd thing was the Egyptian characters themselves addressing their home as Egypt. The name of Egypt is entirely European, coming from the Ancient Greek 'Aiguptios'. Ancient Egyptians rather addressed the land as Kemet. This could have made the narrative feel even more realistic.

The other aspect I want to address is Noel Minj himself, the mastermind behind the pivotal Space Tech. He is obviously drawn from Elon Musk, his name being an anagram of Elon. Noel himself is much more nuanced and understands than the real Elon Musk himself. The narrative itself poses a big challenge: whether to refuse acknowledging Elon Musk, a known right-wing Capitalist with no credit apart from funding SpaceX; or to erase his presence and still keep the work of SpaceX in the novel. In parts the narrative does address the ethical problems of Noel's work, which directly correspond to Elon's project. But Noel is much more grounded and less predatory than Musk himself. Noel acknowledges the Capitalist issues around Space Tech's project and is part of the process, but it is impossible to separate him from the ignorant but uber-rich Elon Musk.

Overall, it's an enjoyable book. But fair warning, take it as a work of fiction. The narrative of aliens being hidden has proven to be a harmful dictat for academia, so books like these should be enjoyed purely for their imaginative qualities and not taken to hint at some arcane conspiracy that benefits no one. If you're free and have no other books on your mind, definitely give this one a go.

3 out of 5

i am not particularly a lover of science fiction, the mere of idea of reading about things that are so out of the world and completely a product of one's imagination, intimidates me. hence, bringing myself to read this book was a difficult task, and it took me rather a very long time to finish reading it, given this book is of a little more than just 300 pages.

the plot follows through two different timelines:
one, ancient Egypt and two, the Space Tech Facility in Jharkhand, modern-day India.

now, the reference of Egypt is what that grabbed my attention. i can assuredly say that the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb is one of my roman empire's and i think about it atleast once a week; and not so notably, even i had watched History TV's weird conspiracy-theory-backed shows (the reason why sci-fi puts me through existential crisis) growing up. So when i had opened the book, i had expected to read something a little different, less-existential-crisis-inducing. but it's what everyone else has done before, with a new varnish on it. Not for me.

i appreciate how the author could keep up with two different plotlines running parallelly, given how difficult it is generally to write such stories. the characters were easy to remember, didn't have to go back a couple of pages to remember who-is-who. the author uses a good amount of information about space tech to keep new sci-fi readers clarified, the meticulous research behind the book shows. it moves fast, the plot, running high and low, events escalate quickly, settings change.

another thing that irked me is the use of the term 'Mars Colonisation Project' in the book. as a person living in a former colony whose resources have been massively exploited by colonisers, the usage of the word 'colonisation' to refer to a space travel project to a different planet felt uneasy, as if accepting of the very act of colonisation, despite clearly knowing and maybe even living through it's awful consequences.

in the very end, I'd like to address the clear references made in the book that connect it to Elon Musk. maybe I am doing this because recently for an inter-school collaborative project, i had to proofread the script of a play that clearly showed the playwright's blind and sometimes peculiarly unexplained devotion for the billionaire and capitalist, which led to major plot loopholes much to my annoyance, but back to the book review. on one hand, the author definitely acknowledges SpaceX for its role in developing and innovating space travel. however, on the other hand, it extends to the man who funds SpaceX, and who is known for his role in spreading hate speech, misinformation, creating conspiracy theories, justifying genocide, and most notably, for being a far-right global climate denier with one of the highest carbon emissions to his credit, who was once celebrated for his role in Tesla and named a rare 'green billionaire'. even the book is dedicated to this man, it is the author's decision as to who he will dedicate his book to, but it made me question our social responsibility.

a good travel read for those who do not experience existential crisis from sci-fi. best for a nephew or niece who is absolutely loves thinking about aliens and hidden outer-planetary civilizations.

Before I start with the review for The Mars Conspiracy by Razi, I feel compelled to give a few disclaimers to the nineties kids. 1. Don’t overthink. 2. You will be compelled to revisit Signs, The Village (the good days of N. ‘Night’ Shyamalan!), Moon, and The Da Vinci Code. 3. Try not to hunt for science and mythology on Wiki.

With that out of the way, let's dive head first with details of this rollercoaster of a book. The story is set in an unusual place for literature, Simdega, Jharkhand. We are introduced to a host of characters, and a glimpse of ‘leopard’. Three vloggers discover crop circles as they explore the land unknown, only to be at the mercy of a cop far away from the realities of life. On the other side, we get a tour of a newly launched science center, and that something sinister is at play is evident from the get-go. A parallel narrative takes us into the realms of Egyptian mythology, eventually leading to a rogue pharaoh Akhenaten, and their Mars connection. Is there life on Mars? Have we discovered it? What secrets have we unlocked and can we handle it? These are some poignant questions that the story dives into.

The first thing that caught my attention is how all the characters have a name and a slight backstory, even if they are eventually not contributing much to the story. It helped me understand the cultural landscape of a land I didn't know. Another thing that was relatively unknown to me was Egyptian mythology. It is sure to keep you hooked. The science talk, however, was too heavy for me. It is quite usual to try to figure out what it all means, but after a while, it is wise to give in and trust the author’s knowledge. That said, don't get too overly attached to too many characters (Harry Potter hangover? maybe) for your emotional well-being. Eventually, Razi ensures that there is a reason for everyone’s quest to unearth the truth, and even the ones seemingly cold and unemotional at the start redeem themselves largely. What I liked most, and I don't know if it was incidental or intended, is the social commentary running throughout the narrative. Each character behaves and reacts just like you’d expect them to based on their socio-cultural-economic background and age demographic. That makes, it easier to read the book, as no one seems overly heroic or clueless intentionally. It flows organically to whoever does whatever in their capacity, be it a professor or a villager.

In the end, I would give it a 3.5/5, it is worth your time if you are looking for something compelling. It's surely not a breezy, light read; it demands your undivided attention.

About:
Mars Conspiracy by Dr. Razi Ahmed is a science fiction work centred at Simdega, a rather remote area of Jharkhand, where a conspicuous space facility has popped up, and odd incidents have started taking place ever since. The incidents are usually conveniently stowed away from public attention, until a group of curious youngsters find a crop circle in one of their little adventures, alongwith a mysterious cannister that needs investigation. Soon, they get embroiled in a plot that outstrips the boundaries of time and space, with a ferocious 'monster' lurking in the darkness, ready to pounce.

Review:
📖First of all, the book is well researched and very educational. There were many facets of Science and Egyptian history that are absolutely fascinating to read, and the author ties together diverse hypotheses, science, and the past, into a delicate plot, balancing all the aspects perfectly. Readers will be able to find a lot of their childhood theories getting shaped into a solid and enjoyable plot here.
📖 There's alternate timelines, locations, and situations amongst the chapters, adding to the suspense growing in different directions. The thrill and tension is palpable through the pages, culminating in a final revelation, which is, very fittingly, ultimately a tale of love, that transcends centuries and planets.
📖 The plot twist regarding KV55 and Martian1 was NOT something I was expecting at all. Right when you think everything has fallen in place, yet another scary revelation takes place right during the countdown of the launch of a manned(but the public doesn't know that yet) mission to Mars!
📖 The author's research on diverse topics is very obvious in the text. Even if you aren't a science enthusiast, there's explanations for almost everything, you will simply have to get into the sci-fi mindset to read this book, and the rest of the adventure is yours for the taking.
📖 I would have liked a bit more background on David and Daniel though, and what happened between them back in their childhood, leading to their apparent estrangement. Also, what happens with Noel's dreams of eternity at the end? Perhaps all that is for a sequel? I sure do hope so 👀
📖 Overall, it is a wonderful book, that can be enjoyed by children and adults like. It's a treasure trove of important knowledge pointers, that will rouse the enthusiasm of anyone remotely interested in science. If you're thinking about picking this book up, don't think. Just do it.

Do you really think humans will one day live on another planet? Are our scientists working towards making this possible?

I'm unsure if we'll witness this in our lifetime, but Dr. Noel Minj dedicates his life to making his dream of colonizing Mars a reality.

The Mars conspiracy began with a breach in the Space-Tech research and development facility located in Simdega, Jharkhand, India. In the next chapter, three YouTubers are filming a new video where they discover a crop circle and a strange object. They take multiple shots of the crop circle and bring them to the local police station, where it is discovered that similar crop circles were seen earlier. However, on investigation, it was found out that circles were made by some local boys. Hence the incharge didn't pay much attention to them and gave the investigation to a cop who was not in a great shape because of his drinking habits.

The story moves ahead, and we witness the trio's efforts to unravel the mystery of the crop circle and the strange object.

Simultaneously the story takes you to 1300 BC, ancient Egypt where you get to see why Egyptians believed in otherworldly people.

But the question remains: how are ancient Egyptians and modern-day scientists connected? How will the Pharaoh of the 18th dynasty help Dr. Noel and his Space-Tech team accomplish the dream of colonizing Mars?

This book is not only a treat for the science fiction lovers but readers who are not fan of this genre will also see themselves enjoying it profusely.

The author through his book will definitely make you believe that humans can one day live on Mars and he will also make you believe in the existence of aliens.

The story keeps jumping between two time zones and multiple characters are being involved to make the story intriguing, which could have backfired if the narration was not clean.

For some, the book might become lengthy and they may feel the description too much stressed out but those who like to know everything in detail will find the same description a major part of the story.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this science fiction novel and appreciated the way the author has built the suspense, which kept me engaged until the end.

The mass conspiracy can be picked by science fiction lovers as well as by those who have never read this genre before but want to give it a try.

The concept of the book is quite interesting and it brings together science fiction with history and creates a narrative that keeps you guessing about the motives of the characters. What I liked about the book was its writing. The storytelling is simple and easy to understand. The author has taken time to establish the plot and given due importance to the science bit as well as the fiction bit which keeps you interested in the events and not run to google each and every small thing. Razi has also explained the Egyptian history in detail as it pertains to the story and woven it into the fiction part of the story seamlessly. Another interesting aspect of the story is that the author has taken a real-life event and built the story around it which helps the reader relate to it a bit more. However, while the story works exceptionally at a concept level, the execution of the same in the second half didn’t work for me. The first half of the book is spent mostly in building up the research, science and the concept part of it, and the interest keeps rising as you turn the pages. However, as the second part of the book starts, it starts resembling more like a Bollywood romance movie rather than a science fiction novel. I felt that the focus on the relationship between Ankhenaten and Nefertiti was too much and the way it unfolds in the climax was something that definitely did not work for me. I felt that the science fiction part of the book got lost in focusing on Ankhenaten and his role in the climax.

The characters in the book are created in detail and I liked how a proper introduction of each character has been provided. I liked the character of David and the manner in which his story evolved right till the end. Another character that I liked was that of Dr. Daniel and how he brought a perspective to the entire story and acted as a reader to explain the things in the story. The character of Noel Minj seems to be inspired from a famous personality and was an easy one to guess.

🪐The Mars Conspiracy is a sci-fi thriller read that starts with the feeling of impending danger that lurks in the form of extra terrestrial creature residing on our planet earth creating a aura of mystery, suspicious and danger on the people living nearby.
☄️

🪐A man died and this wasn't the first time someone's mutilated dead body was discovered in that area, and all these particularly started after Space-tech opened their science research centre at Simdega, Jharkhand but any news regarding these often proved to be a hoax or a leopard attack or prank done by local boys but is it really what it is reported or just concealment of the real facts. Shreoshe , Ankush and Ravi are you tube vloggers who accidentally discovers a crop circle and a unknown cylindrical object and therefore begins their quest of finding the truth behind it all
☄️

🪐The story runs in two timelines one in India and another in ancient Egypt where a pharaoh desperate to cure his son approached the people of 'sun-disc', but does his now cured son even remain the human he was. Whereas in the present time the often seemed eccentric yet enigmatic scientist Dr. Noel Minj is busy chalking out way towards the colonisation of Mars. The over lapping of these two distinct timelines are done meticulously and how it connects for the final showdown all the while maintaining the level of suspense and thrill throughout keeps the readers hooked to the story
☄️

🪐Sci-fi are often of two types which is either it is based on proven facts and with technology theoretically possible or realistic science not yet proven facts with plausible technology that doesn't require explanation, this book falls in the later category but the narrative is so well researched and meticulously written that the readers will not only be able to easily comprehend it but would also be totally engrossed by the idea.
☄️

🪐Having read the first book by the author I was so excited to read this and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a totally engrossing and fast paced story though the climax felt kinda rushed but it was still a stellar read all along. Recommended to everyone who would love to start reading the sci-fi genre or enjoys reading thrillers.

✨ This book was as exciting as its title. It took me to an awe inspiring journey through time and space.

Noel Minj, the founder of Space-Tech Research and Development Centre and a hardcore science enthusiast is determined on a mission to take humans to Mars and even beyond. By the coordination of scientists from different scientific streams he works for the same. Soon he is going to launch the first starship to Mars promising it to be unmanned. But is it really unmanned? What are the mysteries brewing inside the huge perimeters of Space-Tech facility at Simdega?

✨ Captivating narration and plot.
✨ The fusion of scifi, historical fiction and mystery at its best.
✨ Well developed characters with deep shades.
✨ Themes of science, friendship, love, culture, history, mystery, sentiments and many more are used with wonderful expertise.
✨ Main characters were given importance throughout the work while other less important characters were also provided with needed space and priority.
✨ As a lover of scifi this was literally a best pick for me.
✨ Even though I guessed the ending far earlier the narration and story revealing were too good and gave a magical reading time.
✨ I am still confused to choose a villain! While Noel caused too much bloodshed and other unethical things to happen, his great vision and determination is something I genuinely admire.
✨ Noel also reminds me of a famous quote by Albert Einstein: "To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science."
✨ I have decided to explore more scifi and scientific books now. Most of the scientific terms mentioned in this book was new to me and I googled many of them and I am curious to know more.

📌 To sum up, this one was exactly what I wanted from a scifi book. It was not only entertaining but also informative. Must read for scifi and historical fiction lovers.

The Mars Conspiracy by Dr. Razi Ahmed

Rating - 3.6/5

"Life is a very sturdy thing. It always finds a way"

It's very hard to understand thrillers. Especially ones which blend truth and lies. This one pulls no punches in doing that exactly. While on the surface it acts as a thriller, it goes much deeper than that. Walking a fine line between what is moral and what is not, it sure is bound to capture the attention of readers with its entire gray storyline. Not a book without certain faults, but an engaging read nonetheless.

A space tech lab opens in a remote area of jharkhand, what can go wrong? Turns out, everything. A guy gets killed near facility. Three amateur vloggers find a crop circle and a mysterious cylinder. And thus begins a race with unveiling the mystery behind the man eating beast. In an era gone by, a desperate pharaoh asks the gods to save his child, starting a long war. Two lovers get butchered and betrayed by people who they thought of as the closest. And all the time, a genius madman thinks of colonizing Mars.

The story is told via two different timelines, the Egyptian, ancient one and the Indian, present. The stories overlap beautifully when it reaches the end and the narrative is quite fast. The way it all culminates into the final act is a testament to the author's meticulous research. The character interactions prove pivotal in driving the story forward and it further adds to the complexity, which is a major plus for me. It's engrossing, it's rich and it will keep you bound until you finish it.

However, the narrative dies down in the final few pages because of exposition and you'll find yourself lost amidst all the jargon being thrown your way. But if you steel through the few pages, then it will blow your mind away. Because at the crux, it's all about love.

Eager to read more from the author, till then. Zeph out

-With the first few chapters, I was a little skeptical especially since I don’t read science fiction.
-The starting was a little rocky and it did seem to me that it was a solid 3 out of 5 book. It got good from chapter eight. But the book is a classic example of starting like a mouse and ending like a lion.
-I genuinely loved the book and it is filled with so many science facts and I got to know about many new topics like wormholes, bose-einstein condensate, etc.
-There are many full fleshed characters and it cannot be categorised into any one genre. You will love it if you love mystery, action, thriller, history, sci-fi novels or movies because it does read like one. The author has a really big imagination and a special gift of showing not telling.

🌌 A short synopsis:

-The book revolves around Dr. Daniel Soren and Dr. Noel Minj, who owns a space tech facility in jharkhand and has a mission to send a manned spaceship to mars.

-The book is about aliens 👽,and I know you will judge it based on that just like I did. But this perception of aliens goes beyond anything you have ever thought about them.
There are basically throughout most of the book three main plots going on that merge into one. It’s written from Dr. Daniel’s viewpoint as he comes to the facility and finds out about the strange mystery at his hometown Simdega, about the space tech facility.

- It is also written from the perspective of pharaoh Ankhenaten, who revolutionised monotheism in Egypt, where several gods were worshipped earlier and from the perspective of the three youngsters who run a youtube channel that spot a crop circle (mark made by a UFO) and solve the mystery with the help of the local police and Dr. Khan.
My favourite character was definitely Daniel and a close second was David.
