I had the privilege of receiving an early copy of this collection, and while I haven't read all the stories (though I plan to), I've read a few. My thoughts are below.

Last Christmas by Autumn Macarthur
What a sweet second chance romance! Full of hope, forgiveness, and a wonderful message of faith, I could hardly set it down.

I really liked Holliday and Zay. There were some issues from their past that they needed to work through, a misunderstanding from the previous Christmas, but I was rooting so hard for them.

I loved The Blue Door. It’s such a special place. I loved meeting the people who worked there and the residents. I look forward to visiting again. This was such a heartwarming Christmas story. I loved it so much!

A Maple Run Christmas by Toni Shiloh
This was such a great fake dating, friends-to-more romance. I loved that God was at the forefront of this story. I loved how the characters talked to Him, listened for His answers, and trusted in His ways and timing. And I loved the big family dynamics. I always enjoy my visits to Maple Run, though they never seem to last long enough. This was another wonderful story from Toni Shiloh.

Emma’s Christmas Surprise by Linore Rose Burkard
Emma’s done with romance, but it’s not done with her.
I was a little apprehensive about this story and the potentially dicey relationship dynamic, but I was so curious how it would all turn out and I’m happy that I stuck with it. There was a really great reminder to seek, listen, and trust God.

From Realms of Glory by Scott R. Rezar
This was such a beautiful love story. I’m almost at a loss for words. I loved how resilient Matt and Jennifer were. They were dealing with a really tough situation, but they never gave up. I loved the message of hope and the reminder that all things are possible with God. This was my first time reading anything by this author, but it won’t be my last. I’m looking forward to more from him.

I received a copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and comments are my honest opinion.

Each are sweet and wholesome with an element of Christian beliefs shared often. I did connect more with some than others. I received a complimentary copy and these are my voluntary and honest opinions. I was not required to leave a positive review.

Mended Hearts

Join Elena and Ford on their journey this Christmas from heartache, loneliness, and anger to forgiveness, compassion, and peace. Theirs is a tender story of remembering where you once were and letting God heal all the hurts and mistakes so you can go home. There are some Christmas miracles and answered prayers thrown their way, too.

A Maple Run Christmas

Rafe couldn’t see that the best thing in life was right in front of him. Until she kissed him…that got his attention. This was a cute story of two best friends; one wanting to be more and the other oblivious to everything. Throwing some fake dating and scheming grandmothers and that’s a recipe for a fun Christmas…and maybe longer.

Snowed in for Christmas with a Cowboy

Dawson and Amy have history that ended up being the painful kind. Being trapped together at Christmas gives them time to work through the wrong accusations and see where they stand now. It was a dreaded Christmas that ended up being the best ever.

An English Christmas with Aunt Mairi

A Christmas tucked away in the English countryside…what could go wrong? Like falling for your fake boyfriend, a stalker, an assassination attempt, and a marriage proposal? Sounds like a good Christmas for Kevin and Maisey.

Last Christmas

Zay and Holly let assumptions, anger, and jealously ruin last Christmas. This year they are thrown together at the shelter, due to emergencies, and they learn how wrong they were. But even after clearing the air, can they work through the new difficulties and trust God work out their future? A sweet story of overcoming heartache and grief to trust God and each other again.

A Lot Like Christmas

A successful life can be measured in the amount of people you touch as you journey through life. Seth, with Leah’s help, learns this lesson during their Christmas together. He is not the failure that he sees himself to be, and Leah makes it her goal for him to see that for himself. A sweet of love coming very slowly as people become friends.

From the Realms of Glory

A sweet, heart-achingly precious story of the love between a husband and wife. Jennifer stayed beside Matthew throughout the darkest days of his life as his nurse, anchor, friend, and wife waiting for him to remember his lost memories. Their journey is bitter-sweet, but mostly sweet. God can still work miracles.

Noel

Follow Noel on her journey to stardom while trying to overcome her grief. Avery is amazing and seems like the “real deal”, but can she let go of her fears. It was a gentle, story of two hearts learning to trust inspire of uncertain circumstances of the past.

Emma’s Christmas Surprise

Emma is torn between two very good, Christian men, brothers in fact. One is steady and settled; the other is fun and exciting. But she loves one and likes the other. There’s a proposal coming and what should she do? There is HEA; enjoying finding out which one she chooses.

Trying to Save Christmas

A tender story of two brothers dealing with grief, finding healing through the help of a kind teacher. I think putting others first is the theme and Christmas is the best time to do that. Jude, Kellie, and little Aaron made an awesome threesome.

Falling in Love Despite Christmas Miscalculations

Can a Brit aristocrat and an average American really make a life together work? Alex and Natalie are sure willing to try. Look beyond the class or status and see the real person and their heart.

Wish You Faith

A story about learning to honor your parents, even when they are difficult, and also to cherish the moments you have with them. Evan and Rosie learn that God can orchestrate their lives for His glory and their good, if they just follow His leading.

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of stories set at Christmas time. I loved that the stories were all different in their themes and tropes, but that they all blended together to bring the reader a lovely holiday literary escape. I liked that the stories were Christian in nature - not preachy or pretentious - just good, clean storytelling. The characters were all very relatable. Some stories were just lovely feel-good stories. Other stories might cause a reader to pause and reflect, and still others might challenge the reader toward personal growth. This book is a festive and fun collection of stories that are sure to put any reader in the holiday spirit.

Buckle up, y’all. Twelve novellas means this is going to be a long review!

We first met Kandi Williams, the heroine of Toni Shiloh’s A Maple Run Christmas, in the first book of her Maple Run series – Buying Love. If you’ve read that novel, you may remember Kandi as the high schooler that Nina was in the process of adopting. Now, Kandi is all grown up, and it’s time for her to have a happily-ever-after of her own! (No worries if you haven’t read the Maple Run series yet; you can still follow this story just fine.) I loved everything about this novella!! It is so fun and sweet and a little sassy, which I always adore about Shiloh’s books. It also has two of my fave tropes (fake relationship and friends-to-more), one of my fave families (the Williams), a new fave family (the Morenos), some great kisses, and characters who make prayer a priority. Rafe’s abuela gives the elder Mrs. Williams a run for her money in the ‘make them sweat’ department, and I loved the feisty Moreno clan with the gaggle of tías, not to mention Rafe’s mama. Oh! And Dwight as a protective ‘what are your intentions for my daughter’ daddy is just fabulous. And even though Rafe is completely clueless as to Kandi’s feelings for him all this time, he’s perfectly swoony once he sees things more clearly – including his own heart. This is exactly the return to Maple Run I craved!

Cynthia Hickey’s Snowed In for Christmas with a Cowboy is a second chance romance between a stranded teacher and the cowboy she’s never quite gotten over. I always love a good ‘snowed in’ romance, and this novella definitely fits the bill! The fact that Amy and Dawson already have a romantic history gives the still-there tension between them extra credibility for the short time frame of the story, and I confess to swooning every time the word ‘darlin’ slips past Dawson’s lips. I also loved how easily Amy fit in with the family at the ranch where Dawson works, especially her ‘teachery’ activities with the twins. Such fun!

An English Christmas with Aunt Mairi by Lisa M. Prysock takes us from my old stomping grounds of central Kentucky across the pond for a Duncan family Christmas… complete with a dash of suspense, a whole lot of family packed into a small flat (think the craziness level of the house full of people in Home Alone), and a fake dating relationship that – of course – turns real! Kevin and Maisey’s meet cute is completely believable, especially if you are used to Kentucky’s notoriously sneaky ice, though the times I wiped out didn’t in the slightest end the way Maisey’s does – with a fake boyfriend for her two-week-long family Christmas in England. Ah the joy of fiction, especially at Christmas, and I really did enjoy watching these two fall in love. I also loved Maisey’s family and Kevin’s job, and the combination of the two.

Autumn Macarthur’s Last Christmas keeps us in England with a heartwarming story that involves a homeless residential shelter, a miracle or two (or three), and a second chance romance between two layered characters. Holliday (aka Holly) and Xavier (aka Zay) have a history as long-time best friends who were almost something more before it all derailed a year ago. So their unexpected encounter as volunteers at The Blue Door shelter on Christmas Eve definitely undergirds this novella with all kinds of feels for them to sort through. The author does a marvelous job of character development, even with the limited page count, and I wouldn’t have even cared if there was no romance in this one. But I’m obviously glad there was (this IS me we’re talking about) and it was really a pleasure to watch everything play out. This was the first story I remember reading by Autumn Macarthur, and I’m going to make it a priority to dive into her backlist.

Back to the States we go, the PNW to be specific, for A Lot Like Christmas by Lesley Ann McDaniel. This cute, sweet story set around a Christmas professional stage play also has elements of a homeless ministry so the stories segued nicely together, one after the other, even though the main plots were each quite distinct. Leah ended up becoming one of my favorite new-to-me characters in the collection, her down-to-earth and genuine personality a refreshing contrast to her career as a high-earning TV actress. As her romantic counterpart – in the play and in this story – Seth had to grow on me but he was supposed to, his character development having the most layers to work through. I came to love these two together and how they began to edify one another.

Scott R. Rezer’s From Realms of Glory intrigued me from word one and easily took another spot on my faves list from this collection. Told partially in flashbacks/memories and partially in the present, this novella tells the story of a couple in a unique but heartbreaking crisis. Former Army medic Matthew Godwin has a traumatic brain injury that has not only wiped out his recollection of the last eleven years of his life but resets his brain every morning to erase any new memories he made the day before. With elements of movies like 50 First Dates or The Notebook, or even It’s a Wonderful Life, this is a remarkably tender story of a husband and wife navigating this unknown territory. The writing voice drew me in right away, and I loved all the different layers to Matthew and Jennifer’s story – their past, their present, and their future.

Noel by Terry Toler returns us to an acting theme as we watch a 21-year-old widow (after not even a full day of marriage) navigate a burgeoning new career in Hallmark-style movies. Noel is immediately likable, and my heart went out to her after reading her tragic backstory – but she’s so plucky that you can’t feel sorry for her for long. And oh I loved watching her career take off, just because you want everything to go well for her. I wasn’t sure what to make of Avery at first but he quickly grew on me, though he definitely has a flair for the over-reaction. It was fun to imagine the ‘behind the scenes’ elements of making a Christmas movie for a TV network similar to Hallmark, which added an overall cozy vibe to the story itself, and the high stress world of agenting (which did not haha).

Oh my heart. Linore Rose Burkard’s Emma’s Christmas Surprise had so much romantic tension between Emma and Ethan – the brother of the guy (Gabe) she’s been dating – that I could almost tangibly feel the yearning as well as the heart-sink. I normally can’t stand love triangles but in this one it’s completely clear which one is right for her and which one isn’t, so it didn’t break my heart for the loser like most do. (Seriously, there’s one love triangle I still haven’t recovered from, even after another story where the guy who lost gets his own happily-ever-after. This isn’t one of those.) Watching Emma come alive with the guy she’s really meant to be with is truly a pleasure, and I loved how Ethan shook things up almost as soon as he arrived on scene. Sometimes we all need a little jostling out of our comfort zone to remember to seek God’s will and truly listen to His direction, don’t we?

Trying to Save Christmas by Dawn Kinzer really pulled at my former-teacher heartstrings. Just like this story’s teacher heroine, I wanted to make things easier for her young student Aaron, a grieving boy who’s been handed one tragic loss after another, including his birth mother and now his adoptive parents too. And of course it doesn’t hurt that Aaron’s adoptive, much-older brother Jude soon claims a piece of her heart too, even as he’s still reeling from the loss of his parents and the news that he’s now guardian to a kid he hasn’t really had a chance to get to know yet. If you’re grieving at the holidays, I see you … and you’ll see yourself in this tender story too. However, while it does have a couple of heartbreaking moments, this novella is on a whole uplifting and full of hope … and cookies! It’s a lovely balance of comfort and joy that I enjoyed reading.

Christine L. Henderson’s Falling in Love Despite Christmas Miscalculations is a mistaken identity romance that takes place in a fancy department store and has a bit of ‘royal romance’ vibes too. Even though the hero is only British aristocracy, not royalty per se, it’s close enough for us Americans haha! I have never shopped in a fancy store, so I found it fun to picture all the behind the scenes imaginings that Henderson creates for us, including lunches in the onsite tea room. It reminded me of stories and movies I’ve read/watched of The Plaza Hotel, only with an Aspen setting that I thought was perfect for this story. Alex and Natalie are likable characters, and I would love a follow-up story featuring Natalie’s roommate too.

The penultimate story in this collection is Mended Hearts by Rose Fresquez, a second chance novella in more ways than just the romance element. The hero and heroine are former next door neighbors from Eron (which fans of this author’s will recognize) and each other’s first love who unexpectedly run into each other in Denver where Elena’s mom is hospitalized after a stroke. This story is packed with heartwarming and emotional reunions, and while of course the romantic one is my favorite, I loved all the others as well. Fresquez’s writing is always warm and her characters are always compelling, and Mended Hearts is no exception. I enjoyed experiencing a Denver Christmas with just Elena and Ford as well as the boisterous holiday gathering with Elena’s large family.

Jan Thompson closes out the collection with Wish You Faith, the first story in a new Christmas series related to her Savannah Sweethearts books. Rosie is a lot of fun to spend time with on these pages, right from the first moment we meet her, as is her spunky mother. I would love to have these two as friends if only they weren’t fictional! Evan is more laid back but no less compelling, and his interactions with Rosie made me smile. The chemistry between them is clear pretty soon after they’re introduced, and it was fun to get a front row seat to the beginning of their happily-ever-after. The theme here of honoring your parents – and the different forms this takes, no matter if your mother is easy to be around like Rosie’s or definitely more difficult like Evan’s – was heartfelt and meaningful, too.

Bottom Line: Finding Love at Christmas covers a range of tropes including friends-to-more, fake relationships, second chances, mistaken identity, celebrity romance, and amnesia… and each of the twelve authors brings their own distinct writing voice to the mix. Despite the myriad of differences in theme, characters, settings, and tone, all of the stories have a few things in common that give it a unified flow from story to story. I loved reading about twelve couples who turn to God for direction as naturally (usually) as breathing, and I enjoyed the character growth and the layers that each author gave his or her story. If you’re wanting to try out some new-to-you authors – or revisit familiar faves – Finding Love at Christmas is a great choice for your Christmas vacation reading!

In Realms of Glory by Scott Rezer, I fell in love with these characters, and became fully invested with them from the very first page. I honestly couldn't put it down, and didn't want Matthew and Jennifer's story to end. One of the best Christmas love stories I've read. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but....will Matthew be able to start retaining every new memory or will his mind continue to reset when he goes to sleep? When will Jennifer get to reveal her secret, and Matthew remember it? Her faith and hope for a miracle are being stretched to the limits, will Jennifer have the strength to stay by Matthew's side?

What a great mix of stories!

Yes I liked some more than others, but all were entertaining stories.
The characters were mostly realistic and the situations believable.

And of course, there's all the Christmas feelings.

Favourites stories from this collection: Maple Run Christmas by Toni Shiloh: A very sweet, unrequited to start with friends to more love story with a refreshing lack of major drama in the last third.
A Lot Like Christmas by Lesley Ann McDaniel: My first experience with this author, this story was an easy read featuring likeable side characters, believable character journeys, relatable struggles, and, of course, a very sweet romance with good connection between the leads.
Mended Hearts by Rose Fresquez: A fan of this authors writing, the chemistry between the leads in this second chance tale and how the way their reconnection was written was very tender, swoony, and just all round lovely.
I also read Snowed in for Christmas with a Cowboy by Cynthia Hickey, a cowboy themed forced proximity second chance, and Noel by Terry Toler.

Among the amazing collection of many new to me authors is one shining star that touched my heart. Trying to save Christmas by Dawn Kinzer put the reader into the skin of a heroine and hero facing pithy educational challenges. The heroine is a fourth grade teacher, who is determined to bring joy to one of her morning students, while the hero is thrown into his unexpected role as big brother and guardian to student. The way they interact with one another as they worked toward common goal to bless the boy is touching. Of course, their hearts are on the line – – everything I love about romance. This story delivers enjoyable sensory feels of the season and a beautifully wrapped happy ending. Highly recommend this story!

What a great collection of stories. The authors write a nice short each which is awesome when you want a quick story. The best part is that they can be read in any order since they are stand alone stories.

In the first book of this collection, A Maple Run Christmas by Toni Shiloh, we meet Rafe and Kandi, who have been friends for years. When Rafe suggests that they have a fake relationship from Thanksgiving until sometime in January, Kandi isn't sure it's a good idea, as she's been in love with him for years. However, the more she thinks about it, she realizes she'd love to see what being his girlfriend would be like, plus she'd also like to not be asked why she isn't dating, she agrees. When it seems like Rafe's abuela doesn't accept Kandi, and Kandi's grandmother grills Rafe, it doesn't bode well for their fake relationship. When Rafe finally realizes he's actually in love with Kandi, will things work out for them, or will their families want to keep them apart?

In the second book of this collection, Snowed in for Christmas with the Cowboy by Cynthia Hickey, we meet Amy and Dawson. Amy and Dawson were engaged three years ago, before Dawson called off the engagement and left. When she finds out, she can't believe that Dawson would believe she'd do what his best friend, Jake, told him. She feels that if Dawson had loved her, he would have told her what Jake said and would have known she wasn't like that. Amy's now stuck with Dawson at the ranch he works at, so could this be a second chance for them?? Amy knows Dawson is the only man she'll ever love. Will Dawson realize Amy still loves him, didn't do what Jake said, and be able to get her to see he still loves her before she leaves the ranch?

In An English Christmas with Aunt Mairi by Lisa Prysock, we meet Maisey and Keven. Maisey is soooo tired of being asked when she's going to get married by her family, that she decides to ask her nextdoor neighbor, Kevin, to be her plus one. She promises him that if he goes to England with her for Christmas, she'll go to his mother's for New Year's Eve and be his plus one. After all, what can go wrong?? Even if they don't get along, and decide not to see each other after the holidays, they'll at least both get through without having to answer when they're going to get married. When it starts feeling real, will Maisey stabotage it herself?? There were parts of the book that were totally funny, and some where you felt so sorry for Maisey.

In Last Christmas by Autumn Macarthur, we meet Zay and Holly, who have known each other since they were eleven. They were best friends, until last Christmas, when they decided to see if there was more there. There was, until Zay jumped to conclusions based on his background, and didn't give Holly time to explain what happened. This Christmas, she hadn't planned to see him, until they ended up working at the shelter together. Now, is there still enough spark left to build the fire again, and get their second chance, or will it fizzle out since Holly still wants a promotion at work, and can't get past her own background to see that she really can trust Zay and God. Love how things come together!

In A Lot Like Christmas by Lesley Ann McDaniel, we meet Leah and Seth. Seth is back in Seattle after what he considers a failed trip to NYC. Leah is back in Seattle to co-star in a musical play, where she'll be opposite Seth. The first time they meet, Seth is not friendly at all. Leah can't decide if it's Seth or her, though her friend and assistant, Brooke, assures her it's Seth. Leah decides she needs to help Seth. The more time they spend together, the more she's drawn to Seth, though he keeps going hot and cold on her. When Leah decides she needs to help Seth see that he shouldn't give up on performing, she finally makes headway. Is it too late for the two of them, though, or will Seth finally see that she's behind him, no matter what life my throw at them?

In From Realms of Glory by Scott Rezer we meet Matthew and Jennifer. Matthew is suffering from two forms of amnesia after a traumatic brain injury, and has lost ten years of his life. He no longer remembers Jennifer, and every morning when he wakes up, he's lost the day before. Each day, Jennifer has to remind him that they're married, and answers the same questions. After two weeks in a care facility, the doctor suggests that they go home. She also suggests that Jennifer wake him up two or three times a night to see if that will help him remember. Both are surprised when that does help! Is this going to be as good as it gets, and will they be able to make new memories to replace the ones Matt lost?? As they learn to trust each other again, and to continue to trust God, things begin to happen. Just a great story!!!!

In Noel by Terry Toler, Noel meets Avery when she auditions for the lead actress role in his new film. Avery falls for her that day, but he thinks it'll end after they finish the movie. After all, his crushes on all of his previous co-stars have been that way. When it doesn't, though, he knows Noel is the one for him. Noel isn't looking for love. Her husband died on their honeymoon, and she hasn't dated anyone, nor has she wanted to, since. Until Avery. Neither knows how the other feels, and while Avery is willing to take the risk, noel is afraid to love again, fearing that it will end just like her first marriage. Will Noel be able to overcome her fear and trust God, or will she let love slip away because she's too afraid to trust?

In Emma's Christmas Surprise, we meet Emma, Gabe, Ethan, and Tessa. Emma has been dating Gabe for a year, and even though there are no sparks, she's sure he's going to propose this Christmas. She's not really sure how she feels about that. Until Ethan comes to visit Gabe for a month. And, her eyes are opened to see how Tessa feels about Gabe. The closer it gets to Christmas Eve, though, Emma is positive she doesn't want to hurt Gabe, but she knows she needs to make a decision, because the decision she makes will effect three others. Will she make the right choice, the choice that would be best for her??

In Trying to Save Christmas by Dawn Kinzer, we meet Kellie, Jude, and Jude's brother, Aaron. Kellie has moved to take a full time teaching position, and Jude has moved home since he's become Aaron's guardian after the accidental deaths of their parents. Kellie becomes Aaron's teacher, and feels sad that he's going through such a hard time right at Christmas. She wants to make Christmas better for both Jude and Aaron. Things go well, until the day before Christmas Eve. Does this mean the end of the budding relationship between Kellie and Jude? And, what about the relationship between Jude and Aaron?? Will things work out for all three, or will they go back to being the lonely people they were before? Love how Jude gets his relationship with Jesus back on track, too!!

In Falling in Love Despite Christmas Miscalculations by Christine Henderson, we meet Natalie and Alexander. Alexander is to become the new CFO of his uncle's stores, and is in Colorado in order to have a few weeks to get acclimated before starting his new position. When he meets Natalie on her first day as an intern in the store, he doesn't want her to know who he is. The more time they spend together, the more he falls for her. Now, he knows he's got to tell her the truth. Will the truth destroy their relationship before it really has a start? Will his parents, and especially his mother, be able to accept Natalie as part of Alexander's life, since they aren't on the same social level?? Natalie and Alexander both lean on God and want to know His will for them, whether they stay together or not.

In Mended Hearts by Rose Fresquez, we meet Elena and Ford. Elena and Ford were sweethearts for two years before he left without a word. That was a decade ago, and now they meet unexpectedly. Elena is the city because her mother is in the hospital after suffering a stroke. Ford works there, but isn't happy. His biggest regret is that he left Elena. Now, he's wondering if they could have a second chance, though he may be blowing it again. When he finally realizes he's got to forgive his mother and father and himself for mistakes made in the past, he knows God has forgiven him, and then his parents forgive him. Will Elena forgive him, too???

In Wish You Faith by Jan Thompson, we meet Evan and Rosie. Evan and Rosie meet when Evan runs from his family in Seattle to Savannah, Georgia, and he works for his friends. The first time he meets Rosie, he knows he has to get to know her. The more time they spend together, the more he falls for her. When his brother calls him and tells him he needs him to come home and handle the business for him so he can be at his wife's side, Evan tells Rosie, and they keep in touch via phone calls, text, and video calls. Evan sets things up to hopefully be able to move to Savannah. He hopes that Rosie will accept him, and that this is truly what God wants for him. Will Rosie accept him, or will he be on his own??

I’ve read two of the stories in this anthology and plan to read the rest later. I read Lisa Prysock’s An English Christmas with Aunt Māori and Autumn McArthur’s story Last Christmas. I enjoyed both stories and am sure that the other stories are just as good. I received a copy of this anthology and I am giving an honest review.

Most of the books in this set are excellent and have good Christian elements. I did not read them all since I only read Christian books, and a couple of the authors have told me theirs have no faith elements. Some I just have not had time to read yet, but they look good.

A Maple Run Christmas #5 Maple Run Toni Shiloh
Kandi has been secretly in love with Rafe, her best friend, for years. When he suggests she be his fake girlfriend to get his family off his back, Kandi is not so sure it is a good idea but agrees to the plan.
Good Christian principles. “Until God tells me to date, I’ll enjoy being single.”

Snowed in for Christmas with a Cowboy - Cynthia hickey
Dawson broke up with Amy because he believed a lie told to him by his best friend. Three years later, they meet again when Amy is snowed in on the ranch where he is working. Will they get a second chance at love?
Good story with some prayer.

Maisey is a boutique manager who needs a boyfriend for a Christmas visit to her aunt in England. Kevin is her neighbor and ex-Secret Service. After being almost fatally shot, he has decided he needs a less dangerous job.
Good Christian elements.

Zay and Holliday were childhood friends until they fell in love a year earlier. When a misunderstanding separates them, Holliday moves away from London. When she returns to London months later and arrives at her volunteer position at the homeless shelter, she literally runs into Zay.
This book has good Christian elements such as praying for guidance and protection for another.

A Lot Like Christmas (Holiday Hearts) Lesley Ann mcDaniel
Leah is a successful sit-com actress who is taking a break to star in an on-stage musical in Seattle. Her co-star is Seth, an actor who has not stared in a show in over a year. As Seth contemplates a career change, can Leah change his mind about both herself and his career?
Good Christian elements such as prayer, seeking God’s will, and being His hands.

From Realms of Glory (A Festival of Carols) Scott R. Rezer
Matthew returns from war with a brain injury that causes him to not only not remember the past 11 years, but also what he just learned the day before. His wife Jennifer is pregnant with their first child but is afraid to tell him – he will not remember anyway since he does not even remember her.
This story has good faith aspects.

These 12 romances are a great collection of stories for those moments we need a break from the hassles of the holiday season from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve celebrations. All the stories are well written and introduce authors I will read again. I comment on three.

Lisa Prysock takes us to London for a large family reunion, which Maisey and Kevin dread for the same reason: each is single among married people who make them uncomfortable. Together, they face family situations and find their future. Along with the romance, Lisa gives us a bit of international thriller, which I appreciate. I highly recommend all of Lisa’s books. She’s a winner.

In Last Christmas, Autumn MacArthur is to be commended, not only for writing a great romance, but for including an explanation of using both U.S. English and British English, and the glossary. Zay and Holliday learn forever is not necessarily forever until they put the past behind them. This was my first opportunity to read one of Autumn's books. It won’t be the last.

Linore Burkard’s Emma’s Christmas. What happens when the head goes one way and the heart tugs toward another? Emma faces her dilemma as she struggles between boring and fun, security and adventure. She knows what she must do, but how can she break someone’s heart as hers was once broken? I’ve read and recommend all Linore’s books: historical, contemporary, and YA. She never disappoints.

Finding Love At Christmas- Autumn MacArthur

What a fantastic narrative this is. The characters can really be identified with. I adore Autumn's writing style because it draws the reader in and makes them feel like they are a part of the narrative. I didn't want to do anything else because I was so engrossed in this novel. I think Autumn Macarthur’s books are so great because she always prioritizes God, and Holliday and Zay are a great pair. Her writing abilities are a true gift from God. I'm eager to see what she accomplishes next. This book is something I wholeheartedly endorse. “I received ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.”

A Maple Run Christmas
This is such a lovely tale about romance and friendship. From the outset, this book captured my heart. The characters are incredibly likable and authentic. The way Toni Shiloh writes in this novel makes you feel as though you are actually there, inside the pages. Excellent work by Toni Shiloh, the author. I am eager to read more of this author's work. “I received ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.”

Snowed In At Christmas by Cynthia Hickey

I've never read anything by this author before, but I'm not let down. I really like this book; it was a lot of fun, and I really liked the characters and the backstory. I'm going to check out this author's other books. Outstanding work by Cynthia Hickey

An English Christmas With Aunt Mairi by Lisa Prysock

With its wonderful characters, lots of love, and humor, this novel was a lot of joy to read. As they don't want to spend Christmas with their families alone again, Maisey and Kevin—who are also neighbors—come up with a scheme that is very entertaining. Lisa Prysock did an amazing job with this book. This was a really enjoyable read, and I heartily suggest it to everyone.

A Lot Like Christmas by Lesley Ann McDaniel

Leah, a well-known actress, and her leading man, a sullen Seth, need to find a way to click on stage. Is one of them supposed to move on or can they work things out? This book has a lot of character care, and I really enjoy how important God is to these stories. Lesley Ann McDaniel did an amazing job.

From Realms Of Glory by Scott R. Rezer

I think there will be a permanent imprint since this story has hit me so deeply. This book was amazing beyond measure. Even though I haven't read any of this author's works before, this tale is among the most exquisite I've ever come across. I recommend this book to everyone. Everyone ought to love one another as much as this husband and wife do. Fantastic work, Scott R. Rezer.

Noel by Terry Toler

What a fantastic tale. I adore the characters and their tale of romance between Hollywood stars. Though Noel's first husband's passing is heartbreaking, I appreciate that she eventually finds love again. This collection of stories is full of excellent stories that are a little different from what I typically read. I heartily urge everyone to read this collection of literature. Great job by Terry Toler.

Emma’s Christmas Surprise

What a wonderful tale. This was such a fantastic story. Everything about this story was wonderful. Making such a difficult choice, yet the answer is obvious when you ask God for guidance. I have read this author's book for the first time, and I can't wait to read more from her. Outstanding work, Linore Rose Burkard.

Trying To Save Christmas by Dawn Kinzer

What a lovely tale of adoration and dedication. New to the area as a teacher, Kellie is concerned about one of her students. Aaron's brother Jude and his instructor Kellie Winters are trying to support him after Aaron experienced a horrific occurrence, but Jude has his own issues to resolve. I'm excited to read more from this author, who is another new one to me. Everything is possible with God. Fantastic work, Dawn Kinzer.

Falling In Love Despite Christmas Miscalculations by Christine L. Henderson

What a delightful and lovely tale. I had not previously read any novels written by this author, so I was pleasantly surprised by what I found in her writing. I adored the entire plot. This was a really enjoyable book to read. I heartily urge everyone to read this book. Fantastic work, Christine L. Henderson.

Mended Hearts by Rose Fresquez

What a beautiful tale of love, friendship, healing from the past, and reconciliation. I adore how God is at the center of all these stories. These figures were amazingly brought to life by Rose Fresquez. Both the book and the boxed set come highly recommended.

Wish You Faith by Jan Thompson

A beautiful tale of love at first sight, perfect for Christmas. This author vividly captures the characters, who are fantastic. She immerses you in the narrative. Despite not having read this author's writings previously, I have to admit that I am impressed. Outstanding work by Jan Thompson. This book and boxed set come highly recommended.

It’s All Here… 2nd chances, unrequited love, lost memories, trust issues, and more

Christmas is a season of love and hope but sometimes love needs to be rekindled. The novellas in this book do just that. Oh yes, there will be obstacles to overcome just like real life, but the Spirt of Christmas is alive and well.

If you like unrequited love stories and second chances, you’ll not be disappointed as they definitely are among the lineup in this book.

One example is 'Mended Hearts' by Rose Fresquez. What was going to be a lonely Christmas for Elena Martinez, a shadow from the past might just sneak in the back door. Hmmm, maybe it didn’t ‘sneak in’ at all, maybe it was meant to be. What a beautiful second chance story full of love and a surprise or two.

And that is just one example of the novellas included here. I love how all of them are full of hope, but not the fake, instant storyline kind. You’ll be able to read about unrequited love, lost memories, trust issues and even an intriguing clean, wholesome, love triangle.

As they say: Tis the Season… but honestly, these novellas make for good reading anytime of the year.

I absolutely loved this collection of 12 Christmas novellas. Finding Love at Christmas was the perfect read for the month of December, yet the stories are timeless enough to be enjoyed any time of the year.

Each novella was thoughtfully written, engaging, and filled with the warmth, hope, and charm you expect from a Christmas romance. I thoroughly enjoyed every single story and appreciated being introduced to several new authors along the way. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy anthologies like this—there’s no pressure when discovering new writers, just the joy of sampling different voices and styles in one beautifully curated collection.

I also appreciated the spiritual examples and lessons gently woven into the stories. The faith elements felt natural and encouraging, adding depth and meaning without overpowering the romance.

Every story in this anthology earned either a 4- or 5-star rating from me, making this an excellent read from beginning to end. If you enjoy heartwarming romance, seasonal joy, and uplifting storytelling, this collection is well worth your time.

Highly recommended.

Trying to Save Christmas by Dawn Kinzer is perfect for readers of inspirational fiction looking for a short Christmas read to warm the heart.
Jude Turner’s parents adopted a child they fostered long after he’d grown up, but when they lose their lives in a tragic boating accident, Jude becomes an instant guardian of the young boy, Aaron, who he barely knows. Jude has some challenges in his new role. Kelly, Aaron’s fourth grade teacher, is big-hearted and determined to do all she can to help.
A sweet, short contemporary Christmas romance with a bit of depth. While this story deals with grief in a real way by having the characters grow and come to terms with loss, it is a balanced read that kept me turning pages. Easy to read. Dual POVs. Wholesome, sweet, and charming. Love the romance and the Christmas Vibes. (Kelly loves Christmas!) All in all, I thought this was a perfect, quick Christmas romance read. As soon as I can carve out some time, I plan to read the rest of the collection!
I was gifted a copy of this collection. All opinions are my own.

With Christmas sneaking up on us, it’s time to download the holiday romances! When I had the opportunity to read this collection of novellas, I jumped at it. I haven’t gotten through all of them, but the ones I’ve read I have enjoyed.

This review is specifically for Dawn Kinzer’s Trying to Save Christmas. What a sweet story! I felt for fourth-grader Aaron in the loss of his adoptive parents and his longing to celebrate the Christmas traditions he’d come to know. I sympathized with Jude—the adult biological son—as he struggled with his own grief and the resentment of suddenly being thrust into the role of Aaron’s guardian, a brother he barely knew. I admired Kellie’s desire to help them both through a tough time.

This is a gentle romance, but it’s more a story of relationships in general. My best one-word description for this novella is touching. It’s a lovely story that proves a reminder of what good will at Christmastime is all about.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. My opinions are my own.

This Christian 12 holiday romance novella collection box set is page-turning with exceptional world-building during the holidays, and characters that are captivating, resilient and realistic. The novella that I am reviewing though is Mended Hearts, by Rose Fresquez. This novella is clean and wholesome with a journey that is enthralling with mended hearts, heartfelt emotions that will leave readers needing Puffs/Kleenex to wipe the tears that are threatening to pour down their cheeks, drama, love, a Christmas winter wonderland that is engulfed by the sprit of Christmas and decorations, adventure, action, and more. I recommend reading this novella by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with finding love at Christmas, Mended Hearts, and a happily ever after that is sure to transport readers into a magical winter wonderland that is consumed by love and is unforgettable.

I received this novella via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.

twelve beautifully well written books. Each book has a Christian belief that I am sure everyone can connect with the characters in their stories and possibly from hearing while growing up if now what you believe now. Shows God is still in control
We see stories of learning to trust, of working through lies. In Last Christmas we learn to overcome heartache and trust God. The In the story A Lot like Christmas we learn a lesson we're not the failure we think we are. I know we all have heard many times about honoring our parents and think that lesson is just for kids, but we also learn to cherish the time we have left with them in Wish You Faith. How many times have we looked at someone status or other things and not at their heart in Falling in Love despite Christmas Miscalculations we learn to look at the heart. We even have an English Countryside Christmas story how romantic can that get at Christmas?

Finding Love at Christmas is a set of 12 Christmas novellas, each with a Christian theme. I haven't read all of them yet, but I plan on it.

I did read Last Christmas by Autumn MacArthur, twice in fact. It is a second chance, friends to enemies to lovers romance with a joy-filled happy-ever-after.

I appreciated returning to The Blue Door, a homeless shelter in London. The examples the volunteers set for the occupants were teachable moments. The prayers for Simon and Chelle and their premature baby, as well as prayers for others living and volunteering at The Blue Door were an inspiration.

The prayers Holly and Zay prayed for each other showed me how God can work in our lives if we're open to Him. I definitely recommend this clean, Christian romance.

I was given an ARC of this set from BookFunnel at the request of Autumn MacArthur. All thoughts and comments are mine, given voluntarily.

This review is for Trying to Save Christmas by Dawn Kinzer

Trying to Save Christmas is a sweet story filled with holiday spirit. I enjoyed getting to know Kellie, Jude, and Aaron as they became better acquainted during a school break.

Kellie is a warm-hearted fourth-grade teacher concerned about her troubled student. Jude is an overwhelmed graphic artist trying to work and care for his younger brother, who is struggling with grief after losing their parents. Kellie and Jude must work together to help Aaron navigate his heartbreak and loneliness during the holiday season. This holiday offering is a must-read if you like relatable characters, cozy settings, and happy endings.

Read Toni Shiloh & Rose Frequez novels. Both are authors I follow, so I read only them from this compilation of works. Mrs. Shiloh’s A Maple Run Christmas is the friend’s only novel of Kandi and Rafael. Solid friendship between the two, but somebody wants more. However, wanting more could permanently kill their current friendship. While Rafe is unsure of his own wants he is content to have Kandi as a friend.

In Mrs. Fresquz’s novel is yet another storybook novel of friends becoming more. Another friends to lover’s story of friendship, but Elena has not quite let time mend her heart over Ford. Life has poor Ford all the way upended, until the rekindling bigger moment with seeing Ford her high school love. Ford has so much going on, but will he allow love back into his life?
