Loved this Christmas short! A chapter from every POV! Definitely will have you laughing out loud when reading. Not sure why - but I have liked Wynn & Danny way more in the shorts and in other books than I did in their own book. This was good to read while I've been waiting for book 7!

i seriously could not handle this book. i was smiling so hard my cheeks were hurting by the end of it. there is just something so perfect about seeing a bunch of characters you have come to love so much be so happy together and in love. this was pure fluff with some added very steamy times. for those who have read this series this far, this will be a true treat.

✦ for those who know me, know i love seraph/lilac with my whole soul. i think about them at least once a day now. it's Christmas time and everyone is getting gifts for each other and seraph wood carved and sanded cups for everyone in the camp?? and he even put their initials on them like wth? i actually burst out in tears because of how damn endearing and cute this was. seraph's "do you think they w-will like them?" i felt my heart physically clench. he's so precious and i love him so much. 😭
✦ wyn hating Christmas was such a mood. it was so fitting and i never expected anything less of him. 😂
✦ another moment that also made me cry was moth's Christmas letter to charlie. we know from Moth that moth didn't know how to read so charlie has been teaching him.
when i tell you i cried- i cried HARD just like charlie did.
✦ more of wyn being whipped for danny. for some reason wyn did feel a little out of character in here? i don't know if that's just me. but wyn embarrassing danny publicly like that....i didn't really like that and felt bad for danny. but anyway, they're still a superior couple for me.
✦ anyway, this was a perfect in between novella filled with hilarious and fluffy moments of our monstrous couples thriving in their established relationships. 😌

Sometimes I wondered how it was possible that Danny was human. He wasn’t anything like them. He was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. He was sweet in a way that I thought I would have despised, but instead, it just made me burn with the urge to protect him. To keep him safe.

Saved this for Christmas last year but somehow forgot and now I can’t resist to wait till December this year. It’s nice to see everyone again in this one. I missed Moth so much 🥹 and his story with Charlie in this one was perfect 😭😭😭 The letter was so special so heartwarming I can’t help tearing up. He tries so hard every single time I love Moth so much ☹️☹️ This was sooo awesome! We get eveey POV of the humans and monsters. Drunk monsters are fun and their humans just make it all better <3<3

I freaking loved this.
I can't believe it took me so long to start this, but omg, it was perfect. Deliciously steamy, funny as hell (Edin, I'll love you forever and ever) and packed with lovely, Christmassy feels and lovely, lovely found family vibes.
Obviously, OBVIOUSLY Edin and Hunter are, and will remain, my favs (also, I want to kick a wall in every time Hunter's mistreated by literally anyone, characters and readers alike, so seeing Edin fight for him was damned satisfying, and hilarious *claps hands* Hunter's my stubborn, angry grump and I love him sm okay???????? Also, disability rep makes me happy ♥️♥️✊🏻) but I loved Moth and Charlie's chapters too. Lilac and Seraph's and Danny and Wyn's were STEAMY, omg. I loved them *melts*
I love these monstrous couples so damned much; I can't wait to read Lily's next book in this world.

5/5 ⭐️s - I want to thank Lily for this wonderful, amazing, spectacular Christmas special novella. At this point, I should really write Lily a love letter because I’m convinced I’m in love with her.
This novella is everything I wish other authors’ novellas could be, but I’ve been disappointed too many times. This one, though? It’s even better than I expected!
We get all the couples' POVs, and it’s just good vibes all around—no drama, just lots of laughter and steamy scenes. What more could a girl want?
Here are some of my fave moments from the book:
🎄Wyn being known as a “fucking sex toy courier”
🎁Edin in a slutty Mrs. Claus costume with his jingle ball bells
🎄Wyn playing catch with Moth, catching him mid-air and giving Charlie a heart attack in the process

Christmas came early for me this year. I was thrilled when I saw that Lily Mayne surprised her readers with this little gem of a book. As a huge fan of the series I was super excited and grateful to get another glimpse into some of my favorite characters lives.

This was a fun lil novella and has made me even more impatient for Lyri to come. Wyn is funny AF with his demo boy BS and the spice was fun. Adam is still the sweetest boy and must be protected at all costs.

Don’t have to say much on this one except that it revisits all our Monstrous series couples so far as they celebrate Christmas over one night in the camp. Paused in my reading of the Anthology to rush through see all my fave couples once more, having a good night of drunkenness and celebration. And some hot AF sexy times, of course!

Pure entertainment, fluff and smut
I wish it had a smutty scene with Hunter and Edin as they’re one of my fav couples 🥺
However, the scenes we had from each POV of the humans and monsters were perfect. Funny and charming and sexy. Wyn and Danny will always be a classic and Seraph and Lilac are precious.
We even got a POV from Anchor. I’d love to get a FF novella with her since she’s due some happiness as well.
Lily Mayne out here breaking gender norms left and right and it’s damn SEXY. Can more guys wear lingerie please?! That should be a thing.

This was adorable perfection. I wanted to save it for Christmastime, but I couldn't wait. I especially loved the Charlie/Moth and Danny/Wyn sections.

I mostly loved it, especially Charlie and Moth and Seraph and Lilac. Edin was hilarious. Wyn and Danny were mostly reduced to sex, but Wyn's absolute devotion to Danny managed to break through and it's always absolutely endearing

o The holiday celebration was the perfect moment for the monsters to mingle with the rest of the raiders. Instead, the monsters and their humans isolated themselves from the other raiders yet again. Even from their friends!

- The camp is starting to feel like one big monster sex club. There are raiders there who accept the monsters, but that doesn't mean they want to be confronted with their sex lives all the time. Neither do all of the other monsters or their humans, for that matter. Sex requires consent from all parties involved, and the blatant exhibitionism in this story happened without the consent of the viewers
- The scene with Danny rubbed me the wrong way. He trusted Wyn, and Wyn didn't interfere when he lost the remote to his vibrating butt plug. Wyn allowed someone else to control Danny's pleasure, which was extremely out of character, and it made the situation even worse than it already was. At one point, I was pretty sure Danny wouldn't have been able to safeword even if he wanted to

This novella was everything I could have wanted in a Monstrous Christmas short. From Edin's lovely attire, Wyn and Danny's kinky fuckery, to the drunken shenanigans of some of our favorite monsters. It was hilarious, yet somehow weirdly heartwarming at the same time. If you love Lily Mayne's Monstrous series, this novella is not to be missed!
