The Puck Daddy Academy is open for business – and this time the Ice Bears are going for the kill.

Donovan Pitt is not your average Little. Standing proud at over six feet and built like a wrecking machine, 28-year-old Donovan looks far more like a typical Daddy than a sweet Little. But appearances can be deceptive, and this latest Ice Bears recruit is searching for his first puck with a Daddy Dom.

The former Red Dolphins and Lynxes player is hoping that signing for the Ice Bears will bring him success on the ice and love off it. Donovan dominates during games with his power, pace, and raw athleticism. However outside hockey, Donovan wants nothing more than to be cuddled, cared for, and tucked up in bed by a Daddy – but so far he’s only ever experienced rejection because of his intimidating size and physique.

Taine Crash is a former mixed martial art champion and a natural born fighter with a body forged from steel. Taine, 39, is gruff, demanding, and has collected more skeletons in his closet than even he can remember.

When Taine has one brush with the law too many, longtime friend Danilo Doni arranges for the Doni family lawyers to get Taine off the hook – but it will come at a price. After all, the notorious Ice Bears owners do nothing for free…

When Danilo Doni brings Taine to the recently opened Puck Daddy Academy to hone the fighting skills of the new Ice Bears recruits, there is an immediate friction between Taine and Donovan – put simply, they can’t stand one another!

Twenty-eight year old Donovan has just been signed to the Ice Bears, the team that had been his biggest opponent for years. Instead of joining the team right away for preseason training, he is instead sent to the new Academy facility for training in martial arts by former champion Taine. Since the Ice Bears team is owned and run by the Doni mafia family, players also are used by the family for special situations, hence Donovan’s current training along with two other new recruits, Tommy and Oliver. Donovan and Taine have a rocky start since Donovan is resentful about not being on the ice yet, but the two eventually develop a working relationship while also discovering a definite attraction.

One thing unusual about the Ice Bears team is the number of Daddies and Littles either on the team or part of the organization. Donovan is a Little, one of the reasons he wanted to move to the Ice Bears where it is openly accepted, and he discovers Taine is a Daddy without a boy. Hopefully, Taine might become his Daddy, something that has eluded him in the past due to his size and physical prowess.

When Donovan’s training eventually leads to a mission with Taine, the two get closer and develop a new relationship, one which both hope will be lasting, as they settle into life with the Ice Bears, along with a hiccup or two.

Returning characters from the companion Puck Daddies series, additional characters on the Academy side as the two areas start to blend together, more information on the side expectations from players and staff by the Doni family, a bit of spying, confrontations, and dangerous contacts with other mafia families makes for a more exciting and dangerous side of being an Ice Bear. Good start to a spin-off series, keeping old characters alive while adding new blood and side responsibilities to new team members.

First, the MC, Donovan, would fit in with Lana Kyle's (aka Zack Wish) series, Blue Collar Boys. As with those guys, they are not the stereotypical Little. They are the same size if not bigger than most daddies, do not back down from a fight and tend to be as strong as their daddies. Donovan is a very dominant force on and off the ice but he is trying his best to come to terms with his little side. But, due to not being accepted by other Little's, and especially by Daddies, he is a bit shy about letting others in on his secret. He has no idea why he is training at the academy instead of on the ice with his new team. To him, it is a waste of his time and he needs to be on the ice to show the Doni family he was worth being signed. He will just need to tell Danilo that working with the older fighter is not going to happen, right? Taine is a down on his luck Daddy and is working at the new academy for his old friend, Danilo, to show the new recruits hand to hand fighting combat. It is not clear at first that Donovan is a little but Taine soon picks up on it. Needless to say, Donovan gets a blistered bum when he gets sassy one to many times with Taine. Find out how this Daddy helps his little shine in his fighting skills as well as being a little. I know you will love how Taine accepts Donovan for who he is no matter his size and strength. Get this first in this new series and see how incoming recruits learn how to defend the family while defending their on ice championships.

This is the first book in the Puck Daddy Academy series. The book focuses on Ice Bears hockey players and the unique relationship they have with the owners of the team. While the players are to win on the ice, they also have to support the owners and the business with not usual tasks and challenges. To ensure that all the players are ready to meet that challenge, the Academy was created. The focus of this book is Donovan Pitt and Taine Crash. Donovan is a powerful high endurance player. Tired of coming second to the Ice Bears he has decided to join them. At 28 years old, now was when he had to build his legacy to the sport. Moving to them was easier as they were well known for their acceptance of littles and daddies. Donovan stands at well over 6 feet and has a body that looks like it was carved from the grandest oak tree. He is also a little that dreams of having a daddy of his own. Taine is 39 years old and trying to live down his ruined fighting career. He is also a daddy. When his friend Danilo helps him out with his legal issues, he feels he has no choice but to help with the Academy. A boxer like him, will have no problem teaching new Ice Bear members close combat training. When Donovan and Taine first meet, sparks fly and not in a good way. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Part of the Puck Daddy Academy series a potential star and the daddy who takes a liking to him. Donovan is sweet he is a larger than life little but extremely shy about letting other’s in especially other littles, daddies are no different they want a small cuddly little not someone big, strong so he is at the training camp and a little upset about it because he feels he needs to be on ice not in school feeling like he is wasting him time to prove he was worth the money they are paying him. Tain a larger than life daddy who is doing a favor for his friend Danilo one of the mafia owners working with the new recruits teaching hand to hand combat but working with one of the recruits he feels like he could be a little but not really sure as he hides it well but when his boy sass him one too many times of course he takes it to his bum teaching him who is in charge proving he is a daddy who can handle him. The magnetic pull between them can’t be ignored and the more he tries to hide his little side the stronger the pull between them but can Donovan let his little out for his team mates, has he found a daddy who can look past all his muscles yet still cuddle with him, allow him to play, will Tain be the daddy he is meant to be, and can these two find their happiness on and off the ice?

This is another great story to read. This is the first book in the Puck Daddy Academy and it is about Donovan, a twenty-eight year old hockey player just traded to the Ice Bears and Traine, a thirty-nine year old ex heavyweight fighter.
Donovan is a little and wants to find a forever daddy dom. When he goes to meet his friends he is welcomed to the area by Mr. Danilo Doni instead. Donovan will not be starting practice yet he needs to go the the Academy first. At the Academy he will learn to fight.
Traine agrees to help Danilo by training the young players to fight. While at the Academy Donovan has a attitude and refuses to play nice with the other boys. After taking Donovan aside with some one on one with Traine, Donovan changes his attitude. Donovan and Traine go on a special mission for Danilo. While they are gone they get to know each other better. Will Donovan get to play on the ice again???? Has Donovan found his forever daddy???? What will Traine do when he gets to go to another fight????.

Another enjoyable read
I’ve got to say this is another really enjoyable read about daddies and their little boys. Donovan, who is a well-known ice hockey player started at a new club and he’s going to find things a bit different here. One a lot of he’s not enemies but hard opponent play for the ice bears. The reason for his move is because Donovan is a little and he knows that it’s accepted in the ice bear team. And he knows of one player Taine, who is is without a boy. Donovan has to go to the academy which is where he meets Taine,
Also the ice bears are owned by the mafia, and every now, and again they look to their players to help in situations.
I’ve Gotta say this is a really great read I’ve been a fan of this author for a while now and he never lets us down I really like the relationship between Donavan and Taine, he excepts he more who he is and Taine isn’t shy about correcting him a good read.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I did not know about Daddies and Littles. You know I don’t read the summaries. This book told me all I needed to know. I think I am in love with Littles. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am happy I took a chance on him. This book has a lot going on. Yes, it has some hockey elements, that is not all this book offers.

Donovan Pitt is ready to get with the best team to see what he can do. The Ice Bears are that team. Unbeknownst to Donovan, he will not be on the ice right away. He and two other players will have to go through The Academy. Danilo Doni wants these players to be able to handle business on and off the rink. Donovan is not happy about it. The instructor, Taine Crash, knows exactly what Donovan needs and he is just the Daddy to give it to him. This book has it all sports, action and some serious steam. Mr. Wish has found a fan. I will definitely be reading more of his books.

The first book in the Puck Daddies Training Academy is a hit! As the Ice Bears hockey team enters another season, an ex rival player becomes an Ice Bear. Donovan is a big guy. Full of talent but looking for a home and a Daddy. Being such a big guy isn’t easy. So many Daddies are looking for much smaller little. Being sent to the training center to learn how to protect himself and to attack others, isn’t exactly what Donovan signed up for. Meeting his trainer, Taine, Donovan recognizes a daddy who has all that he needs! And Taine sees the sweet little that’s inside the muscled body.

This book has all the things the other series has and brings along characters from it, so to enjoy to better I’d read that series. You don’t have to but it’s just that good! You won’t go wrong.

I enjoyed First Puck: An MM Age Gap Hockey & Mafia Romance Book 1 of Puck Daddy Academy. It’s a little different than the typical Ice Bears story but it was an easy and enjoyable read. Donovan is the newest Ice Bear but he has to prove himself by training with disgraced fighter, Taine. Like all Ice Bears books there is a bit of danger and suspense mixed with the steamy scenes. Taine and Donovan have to do a “favor” for Mr. Doni. A good storyline and I kicked the characters but it was a bit off from the normal Ice Bears books. I would recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I love Littles who don't fit the stereotypical Little mold, and Donovan's six foot three and muscled physique was more Daddy than not. I liked his personality. The tension between him and Taine was palpable, but the chemistry was always there. Donovan was not happy to be learning to fight instead of being on the ice. Both men butted heads, but heat eventually won out. As with the previous series, I love the mafia aspect that adds some danger to the story. Looking forward to continuing this series. 4 stars.

This is the first book of the new spinoff series Puck daddy academy set in the Deadly pick daddies world and it’s so good to be back with the Icebears, Joshua’s old captain and teammate Donovan has joined the Icebears with a few younger players, but now you need to go through additional training at the academy if you want on the ice and Taine is all for helping them learn the benefits of close contact sports but the daddy in Taine sees something extra special in Donovan. Looking forward to reading Tommy’s story next.

Donovan is an intimidating man when he is on the ice, but off he just wants to find the one. When he gets traded Ice Bears, his world takes a turn of the unexpected.

Taine is fighter and finds himself in a place in needs help, but the help comes at a cost. When the favor is called in, Taine soon finds himself with more than he expects.

Good and unique story that takes you on a dark ride.

This book was totally enjoyable. It was a relatively quick read but there was plenty of time to tell this engaging story. This was exciting and kept me interested throughout. Their chemistry is only off for a little while before explosions are being set off! I really enjoyed this and am glad that there will be more to come in this series. It's off to a great start.

Great start to a new series! MMA fighter Taine finds his love in a little that is larger than most. Donovan is a hockey player that longs for a daddy of his own and his wish comes true. The two prove themselves while on a trip for the Doni family and they bond in the best possible way. Love the book!.

When Donovan meets Taine an ex boxer, he's not impressed. He wants to play hockey and not be trained in fighting. Taine knows that Donovan is special and he's the one for him. I really enjoyed this book.
