Every new kill becomes a challenge. It’s almost becoming too easy. Women are way too trusting of other women. And men? Well, they are stupid and underestimate me.
The small inconvenience of a defensive stab wound sends me to the hospital. There, I lay eyes on the incredibly good-looking, young Dr. Jayson Nales.
He’s my next challenge.
I must have him.
And judging by the way he looks at me back, I think he wants me too.
Who cares about doctor-patient confidentiality when you’re a serial killer? Not me.
ALRIGHT for this to only be 28 pages long according to my iPad, i would say it was really good. Just put you right into like chapter 14.. if you just want to read something very short but good, this is the way to go. I truly thought that the doctor actually came back in there and killed her and she was slipping away from reality. But to dream that sort of thing, I guess that would make sense with her blood loss it was equivalent to a fever dream. Hallucinations really.
So I’m not quite sure what I was expecting from this but I enjoyed it. It’s a female serial unaliver and an er Dr in a short and dirty fever dream of a story. The spice was good and the storyline was decent for such a short story. I almost wanna know more about Lara and her Escapades. It was an excellent pallet cleanse for my current book hangover. Steph Macca has quickly become one of my favourite authors and I cannot wait to read more of her work.
3.75/5 "I'm the doctor giving the treatment here." Lara is an unaliver that ends up getting bested by someone she is after. She calls a friend for help and passes out. During her moment of being unconscious, she has a dream about going to the hospital and being intimate with her doctor, who then unalives her. It is all one big fever dream. It was an interesting short read!
This is a steamy shirt hot read with a bit of a twist. Very dark it has a great storyline and some colourful characters, I will be reading more by this new to me author
As usual Macca never fails! What a great, fun Novella with a couple of twists and surprise ending. I feel like I just read a long novel. Definitely a must read!!
