১৪ টা গল্প নিয়ে সংকলন 'মুক্তবাতাস', এর মধ্যে প্রায় সবগুলোই পড়ার মত। এ বইয়ের বেশিরভাগ গল্পই একটু অন্যরকম, গতানুগতিক নয়।
কাজী মাহবুব হোসেনঃ
পাই টাউন – এ গল্পটা সাধারণ মানের।
টিম্বারল্যান্ডের ট্রাবল – সংকলনের অন্যতম সেরা গল্প। পটভূমি, চরিত্রায়ন ব্যতিক্রমী।
মুক্ত বাতাস – এ গল্পটাও বেশ ভালো। নতুন দেশকে যারা গড়ে তুলেছিল তাদের গল্প পড়তে ভালোই লাগে।
রকিব হাসানঃ
দুশমন – এই গল্পটি ‘কে তুমি’ বইয়ে ছিল। মাঝারি ভালো।
টিপু কিবরিয়াঃ
আগুন – গল্পের মূল চরিত্রের নাম অডিন অর্ফিউস। আশ্চর্য নাম সন্দেহ নেই।
আউটল - ছোট্ট একটা মজার গল্প।
ইসমাইল আরমানঃ
দ্বন্দ্ব – আউটল হওয়ার অর্থ আসলে কি তা এক ডানপিটে তরুণের উপলব্ধি করার কাহিনী। ভালো গল্প।
অনীশ দাশ অপুঃ
ওস্তাদের মার – হোম অ্যালোন ধরনের ব্যাপার। বেশ মজা পেলাম।
মোহাম্মদ সাইফুল্লাহঃ
পোর্ট্রেট – বুনো পশ্চিমের ম্যাকগাইভারের কাহিনী smile emoticon
স্টেজ ডাকাতি – এ গল্পটাও মজার। গল্পের নায়ক (অন্তত পার্শ্ব নায়ক!) একটি বেড়াল।
বাউন্টি হান্টার – নিঃসঙ্গ এক বাউন্টি হান্টারের কথা, আইনের চোখে অপরাধী না হয়েও যে সমাজের চোখে ঘৃণ্য।
রণবীর আহমেদ বিপ্লবঃ
প্রতিরোধ – মাতাল ভবঘুরে এক লোক ঘুম থেকে উঠে দেখল সারা শহরে কেউ নেই। খুবই ইন্টারেস্টিং ভাবে সাজানো হয়েছে গল্পটা।
হাসান খুরশীদ রুমীঃ
আগন্তুক – একটি কিশোরের দৃষ্টিতে অস্ত্রের আইন।
মুহাম্মদ তাসাদ্দুক হোসেনঃ
আদায় – পশ্চিমের একজন খেটে খাওয়া তরুণের গল্প, যে নিজের অধিকার আদায় করে নিতে বদ্ধপরিকর।
