I have genuinely enjoyed this book from cover to cover. I live in Ireland and I have originally purchased it at a local market from no other than the author's husband Alex. This was a great selling point and I was very eager to dig in! Travel literature is probably my favourite genre and I have read tonnes of books that fall into this category. I feel like "Curry, Chaos & Love" was among those I enjoyed most. The narrative is just so honest and warm and it pulls you in. I must say I felt like I'm there with the characters and I was sorry for it to end. I wholeheartedly congratulate the author on the adventure of her life. I wish there was a "sequel" of sorts ;)
I'm leaving Ireland soon to go to Asia, and I decided this book was going to be the last one I'd read while in Ireland. What a great decision!
I bought this book from the writer herself at a local matket in Cork, and it immediately filled me up with excitement about my upcoming adventure and all the possibilities ahead. It's an easy read, very honest, and also filled with hilarious scenes. I really enjoyed this book from start to finish.
It even made me cry a couple of times, but as the writer points out in the last chapter, "... making for a frenzied emotional rollercoaster, which soared and dipped randomly and without warning. In other words, I was liable to cry at the drop of a hat." Exactly how I feel right now
This is such an authentic and funny slice of life type of book. Cozy whilst being full of chaos and crazy adventures ! I felt I was listening to a friend telling me all about her adventures around the magnificent country of India and how she met the love of her life ! 💖💖✨
