About the author

Kaithlin Shepherd was born and raised in Canada where she learned to figure skate and where she crafted a love affair with coffee. Growing up in a household filled by strong headed women, she learned early on that life is what you make it. Creating a world away from her own day to day, she loves the feeling of creating a universe where her fans can forget about everything in their life. She loves writing alpha men characters and she doesn’t shy away from turning up the heat with scorching hot sex scenes.

This is book three in The Saints and Sinners Series and it is Mike and Makyala's story and what an emotional and heart breaking story it is. Mike comes from a family who are always in the lime light as his parents are high profile family/divorce attorneys so when Mike joined The Saints and Sinners band he knew that his life would be in the media but that didn't mean that he had to like it and then Makyala who is a journalist and her daughter Riley comes along with her when Makyala is working with the band for an exclusive behind the scenes story and she had been doing that for the last two years and they her daughter Riley had kept there distance from each other even though Mike has feelings for her but now things are about to change as Makyala and her daughter Riley were going on tour with them. Makyala is a single mum to her daughter Riley who is her life and she has just been told that she is now going on tour with the band that she had spent the last two years with but what will happen when she has to spend so much time with Mike who her daughter absolutely loved spending time with and she knows that they have a special bond and Makyala's feelings for Mike is hidden away as he has heartbreaker written all over him and after what Makyala had been through with Riley's father she is not willing to go there again. Mike and Makyala have such a strong connection and chemistry between them that you can feel it sizzling of the pages of this book but with everything that she has been through will she ever do anything about it. Omg I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put it down as I had to see what would happen next and it was so addictive and the story pulled you in right from the first page. The characters and storyline was absolutely amazing as they all supported each other and also had each other's back's regardless of what the situation was and I loved there loyalty to each other and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. Kaithlin Shepherd is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book,series and other books by her as they are definitely worth reading and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention.

This is the 4th book I've read written by Kaithlin Shepherd; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the 3rd book in the Saints and Sinners Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Makayla & Mike; he’s the lead guitarist for a rock band; and falls for her at first sight but she’s not interested in dating a rock star since her ex left her pregnant and alone.

I loved Mike and Makayla characters they are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages. The way Mike was with Riley made him more appealing to me. The storyline flowed easily throughout the pages making it one to read.

I get that this is an arc but it appears that this book was released a year ago as another edition, that makes typos, wrong words and duplicated sections really frustrating in my opinion.
The plot itself was good with a fresh take on rockstar romance.

I love rockstar romances. Period. They are my favorite genre of romance novels and I gravitate towards them. Because of this I was already prepared to like this book even though I’ve never read anything Kaithlin before. Happily I was not disappointed. Mike is Saints and Sinners guitarist and actually a great guy. Saints and Sinners are not a band of twenty year old. Two of the members are married with children and as Mike explains they are more suburban than partying. Makayla is the reporter following the band around for two years who doesn’t want to get involved with a musician. Mike is in love with her.

This is not a sex, drugs and rock n roll book. It’s a grown up rockstar book and very enjoyable. Mike and Makayla have great chemistry and are a believable couple. I plan to go back and read the first two books and look forward to Austin, who’s next. He’s the drummer and I have a thing for drummers so I’m especially excited to see what happens with him.
