Christian
My entire life is nothing but people telling me what to do, where to go, and what to say. I've made it my job to fight back against the rules of the crown, but everything changes when I lock lips with a stranger in a last ditch attempt to dodge my security detail. I'm an expert at giving people the slip, but getting away from Kale is the last thing I want. From the first kiss, I think I’ve finally found where I belong. But with my trip to New York coming to an end and my royal family breathing down my neck about duty and my responsibility, I know our time is limited.
I might be good at getting away for a night here and there, but one night with Kale will never be enough.

Kale
I may have humble beginnings on a farm in central California, but I’ve always wanted more. More chances at life, more money to live it, and more opportunities to choose from. Thanks for wealthy grandparents, I’ve been allowed all of those things, and I’m no longer in the habit of accepting when someone tells me no, whether it’s in the boardroom or the bedroom. But then Christian falls into my lap, and he’s everything I’ve ever wanted, except he’s telling me we won’t last. We can’t work. It’s out of our control.
I refuse to accept that from the man who has stolen my heart.
I’ve been handed a lot of things in my life, but Christian can’t be one of them. From the start, everything is against us, but that only keeps me more focused on how to make him mine. I’ve never been in love before, never wanted to share my life with another person, but something about this bratty, submissive little Prince makes me ready to throw my old life out the window and go all in so I can find out what it’s like to truly have someone to call my own.
With over two dozen published romances to her name, Kate Hawthorne has built a recognizable brand around telling emotional stories that pack a figurative (and sometimes literal) punch.
Existing on a steady diet of wine and coffee, Kate spends her days dreaming up angsty stories full of heat, kink, and heart. Kate now lives in Louisville, where she writes romance, reads romance, and hides from the humidity.
Christian is a Prince on the run. Yes, a real one, and he has had more than enough...enough being told what he can and can't do...enough being expected to roll over and do whatever his father and his oldest brother Phillip think should be his "duty...and he had certainly had enough of this New York City ballet he and his bodyguards are supposed to be enjoying. Now Christian is really and truly a prince on the run. He runs right into Kale, a millionaire who doesn't understand and literally hates the word "no". The two of them are about run headfirst into a love that neither of them ever imagined, much less saw coming.
I really liked this story. I sympathized with Christian who is struggling to just be himself while pushing against the oppression of his position. It's not like he would ever be King...he's eleventh in line for the throne and falling further behind with the birth of every son born to his older brothers.
Kale is bored with his life and wants more....and when he finds Christian on the street after escaping from the boring ballet, he thinks just one night with this beautiful man...but afterwards when he gets to know Christian better...he thinks how could just one night or even one lifetime ever be enough? Kale and Christina are more than steamy or hot...they are explosive together.
I just finished the "Trophy Dom's Social Club" series set in California, so was excited to see on Amazon that this is the first book in Kate Hawthorne's new series set in New York. Hope she keeps them coming...there are 48 more states.
Kate Hawthorne's writing just keeps getting better and better! All In is the latest Trophy Doms story. We've seen Kale before as a man who was upset to see his best friend move to California to live with his Dom husband. Now, Kale is going to figure out how love changes you and what you can be willing to change in the name of love.
Christian is a spare heir prince of a fictional set of islands. He has spent is entire life under the control of his autocratic father and strict older brother. He has not even been allowed a cell phone and he must take security with him everywhere he goes. He strains at the restrictions and occasionally slips away from his guards. Now, in NYC, he breaks away again and runs into the arms of Kale.
As Kale and Christian spend the night together, Christian learns about Kale's natural dominance and he also discovers his submissive side. One night will never be enough, but can they find a future together when they live far from each other and Christian is not free from his family's control? This book has a supportive friend's group, BDSM passion, and a beautiful forever love.
I always forget how much I love this author's stories until I pick up one of her books and simply fall in love with the storyline, with the characters, with the side characters. Just all of it. Really enjoyed this particular storyline of a wealthy New York City Dom and a prince trying to find his place in the world, and finding it on his knees instead.

Christian is a prince on the run and Kale is a millionaire who hates the word no. Together, the two of them are about to go all in on a love neither saw coming.
I loved this story with Christian who is struggling to be himself against the oppression of his position as a prince. Kale is bored with his life and wants more. They were explosive together and had off the charts passion. Easy to read, lots of feels and emotions. This was an MMM story with mature content and BSDM-like dynamics.
Kale and Christian's story was a fantastic and engaging exploration of love and kink. For two people who crashed into each other on a sidewalk and spontaneously spent the night together, they had insanely good chemistry, and the romantic in me was falling all over myself when I saw the way Kale and Christian couldn't get each other out of their heads. That one night kickstarted a whirlwind of a romance, and I couldn't get enough of their dynamic in and out of the bedroom. For Christian, Kale represented a lot of firsts: first time exploring submission, first time being free of his family's strict expectations, first time opening himself up to love. He fell into submitting to Kale with an ease that neither of them expected, but god was it heady to see the way he slid into that floaty headspace and soared. Kale had mainly been a casual fling kind of guy before Christian, but it took almost no time at all for him to start staking his claim on Christian in every way imaginable. The two of them could barely keep their hands off each other, and though the D/s relationship dynamic persisted through all of their scenes the ways they took each other apart were deliciously inventive every single time. It gave me such a thrill to watch their relationship grow and evolve into something so deeply intimate that I couldn't imagine either of them walking away, and though it was quick when they confessed their love for each other I absolutely believed it. The main thing standing in their way was Christian's family and their unyielding expectations of how he should behave, and that conflict persisted throughout the entirety of their journey. At times I almost forgot about it--the bubble of Kale and Christian's happiness so solid that it felt like nothing could rupture it, but as their stolen days together came to an end the question of what was next loomed over both their heads. I really appreciate that Kate Hawthorne pushed these men past their honeymoon phase and back into the realities of their lives, because as much as I trusted in their love and devotion to each other they needed to see that they could make things work beyond a rebellious tryst. The intermediate angstiness only made their eventual reunion even more satisfying to me, and I absolutely love the way Christian and Kale's journey concluded.
**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.
All In creates such satisfying characters and character arcs with the most emotional, intense, whirlwind romance that left my head spinning and my heart in my throat. Christian and Kale are AMAZING characters, and the way they're suited for each other and magnetized to each other was a thrill to read, but when emotions swell and the roadblocks trying to keep them apart come up and these two decided to fight for each other, I absolutely tipped off the chasm right into adoration. I ADORE these two and the way they found themselves in each other.
All In is so well-written! It builds the romance quickly, yes, but the whirlwind of it made perfect sense for the characters and their suitability to each other and their growth. I never doubted, and I was just as swept up in it as they were, my heart thumping and my head swooning every time they kissed. It was like, when they were together, they found themselves in a perfect tango, matched step for step and seducing each other across the stage, and gosh, was it beautiful and hypnotizing.
The way this story is created, the spice in it is just as important to character growth and progression as the characters' histories, verbal sparring, or emotional discussions - actually, probably more so. It's LOADED with kinks but written with depth in a way that explains motivations, wants, and needs, and AMPLIFIES those kinks into another realm of significance while still being utterly, painfully HOT. There's SO MUCH spice in this, some of it quick and some of it long, some of it simple, and a LOT of it kinky, but it all left a delicious ache in my gut because of the emotional PUNCHES it all carried with it. It's so good, so yummy, and so easy to get swept up in!
All In is hard to describe to someone who hasn't read it for themselves. Saying it's "kinky and emotional," is just way too insignificant a description, even though at the most basic level, that's absolutely what it is. But it's more than that... It's that times a HUNDRED. And then there are all the side characters, best friends, past mistakes, overbearing family, dear relationships, and kinky comrades that I haven't even touched on. It's just SO good.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes kinky contemporary or emotional contemporary or BDSM. Even if you don't have much experience reading BDSM, I feel this would be a great book to dive in because it's so excellent at explaining motivations and reasons for WHY the characters feel, want, and need the things they do. As for me, this will go on my permanent rec list, and I can't wait to start reading book 2!!
A fantastic new series from Ms Hawthorne. I think its a case of rules smules lol and they’re meant to be broken with Christian. This is a insta-connection romance which is set as a fast pace with both characters falling hard as scenes play out. Kale was a twin in new york whod grown up in farm country, but know hed swapped for city life. Secretly belong to a kink club called The Black Door. Kale was a dominant person. Christian 28 yrs, was a prince wanting to escape from his family and loved seeing his careers run after him on his junts out.. A smoking hot first meeting for Kale and Christian slamming into each other. I loved how Kale didn't know who Christian was and itd probably be an issue latter when he did. Yeah an overnight would indeed wreak Kale. Lol With a heavy super fast connection between them as well as another country Kale and Christian time was sparse. Ooh I loved their 🔥sexy scenes and the emotions happening. While I read this as a standalone it does feature characters from the Social Club series which I hadn't read. Having said that, I was lost on some of the side characters in this and some of the storyline. The next book in this could be a goodie as I think Kale won't be happy with Ford. A good ending on this one as it leaves a little teaser of what's to come with Christian’s brother. I didn’t connect with these characters as I felt it was too fast for me and Christian not being brave enough with his family.
Kale and Christian come together in a one night stand that affects both of them so drastically Kale plans a kidnapping and Christian knows his life will never be the same.
Christian is the perfect bratty partner for Kale and I adored how we got to go along on his journey of discovering why he could take orders from Kale but not from his father or older brother. His self-discovery was beautiful and it wasn’t any wonder why Kale fell so hard for him.
Obviously, the chemistry and the kink are as 🔥hot & spicy 🔥 as all of Kate’s books are but I also found this one to be kinda sweet too. When Kale finally admitted, even to himself, that he was falling in love I loved how he just laid it all out there for Christian with his wants.
“I want to do dirty fucking things to you, princess. For a very long time.”
“I want you here. I want you in my home. In my bed. I want you marked. I want you to be mine.”
Gah!! I love Kale!! ❤️
Such an amazing book and I absolutely LOVED that it’s a spin-off from the Trophy Doms Social Club and yet this can be a complete stand-alone.
All In by Kate Hawthorne is a new series offshoot from The Trophy Doms Social Club. You did not have to read the TDSC to read this series but it is so damn good you really should. Now, as to All In...
We have Kale, an American who is very wealthy and a definite Dom. We have Christian, a foreign Prince who is so far removed from taking the throne it'd be a sad miracle but who is still held to the standards of one assuming a kingdom soon. Christian likes to rebel where he can and slipping his gaurd detail and finding some fun is a favorite of his. Kale and Christian have a VERY hot meet cute and the story just burns on from there.
Kate Hawthorne is so fabulous at writing kink within a greater story of two men finding their way to each other. At some point in the last 7 books she has written I have had real tears pouring down my face and this book is no exception. She will be hearing about this, too!! There is so much to love about this book and I really recommend reading it.
I adored the initial introductions to Christian and Kale, the exploration and comfort they find in one another. The spice was heated and hurt/comfort feels, developing feels and learning one another. Oh and the royalty aspect, the struggled & conflict - the tension in having to hide and unable to go out together.
Honestly there's a lot of potential in this book, I think it just felt really slow for me and it's rather repetitive in the steam. With Christian new to submission and finally receiving what he needs, along with Kales obsession/head space tending to stay constantly in Dom mode.
I just lost interest and kept putting it down, didn't feel like picking it back up and I'm simply not invested enough to continue at this halfway point sadly.
There is a lot of beautiful writing here though and quotes I adored, so many try another book from the author some time.

All In is a don/sub MM romance about a Prince who feels stuck and wants to escape his life and a wealthy man who loves to dominate in and out of the bedroom. This was a good story, good characters- the writing was a bit iffy, not my favorite, felt like there were too many cuts to get to some points and somehow didn’t feel natural. I also did not like that there wasn’t this obvious backstory to another character we hear about but don’t really see till the end and it’s acted like we, the audience, know already. I couldn’t tell if this was drama from another book but it’s not explained. The spice was good, loved the casual voyeur kink in front of the friend group. Loved how controlling Kale was, but really how much Christian wanted to be controlled. It’s a cute, entertaining book!
I was surprised how much I liked this book. I thought the circumstances behind how Kale and Christian met were original and I believed in their romance. The sex scenes were hot and kinky. Kale (horrible name, but there's a reason behind it) was an experienced Dom, but Christian had no idea that he was submissive until he met Kale. Things heated up quickly.
The conflict and subsequent break-up of their romance was real, not contrived like in so many stories. Christian was a prince and had duties back in his country; he had to go home. K & C knew that it wouldn't be easy to make things work, but of course they did in the end.
I am definitely interested in reading about Kale's friends in future books in this series.
All In was my gateway book to Kate Hawthorne's writing, and for me it was a 6-star read: sheer magic on the page. The author set up a deeply erotic exploration of kink that was utterly compelling. Right from the get-go I was heavily invested in both Kale and Christian. Following their journey to a committed, soul-deep love, hard-won through impossible circumstances, was absolutely addictive and I couldn't put this book down. The other characters in this story were equally fascinating, and I look forward to reading their stories in the remaining books in this series. Finally, I'm thrilled to eventually work my way through this author's extensive catalog!
Deliciously decadent!😏 Kale and Christian are electric. Their Dom/sub relationship is full on kink heaven! Kale's devotion to Christian is unparalleled. And Christian's submission is an unfathomable gift. Bound together with a fire that burns, they're ripped apart too often. Falling in love is a painful affair. Kate Hawthorne creates a beautiful world for Kale and Christian to thrive in and two MC's that are vivid and sexy!😋Dive on in and get pulled into this steamy tale of mind blowing yet tender love story! 😘Check your triggers.
This is a whole new series that’s a spin off of one that I absolutely loved. These trophy doms tho? One is a prince! What a fantastic take on this trope - Christian just wants to be free to be himself and Kale? Kale is just the man to give it to him. This fantastic book has Kate Hawthorne’s trademark wit and extensive knowledge of the lifestyle. Absolutely loved the heat, the story and the HEA!
I enjoyed Christian and Kale’s book. I liked the dynamic between the two and the background story around Christian’s experience as the prince who’s the spare to the spare with no chance of ever becoming king. I’m looking forward to Ford and Boston’s story next in the series
Decent but not amazing. Some of the BDSM stuff felt rather performance and didn't necessarily have deeper reasons for them. But there were still some gems here and there and valid insights into some aspects of dom-sub relationships.
Christian being a prince was just a funny little addition to everything that really pushed this feeling fantastical.
3.5 stars. There’s something that’s just *chef’s kiss* about using princess as a nickname for a literal prince. I enjoyed Christian’s character arc the most where he learned the power of saying no and finding the confidence to stand up for himself.
Ooof! I loved how the chemistry between the MCs was palpable from the get go! Christian was a super charming mischevious Prince who stumbled upon the right dom to let him flourish. The author did an awesome job balancing the story and making it hard to put down!
Trying to escape a few minutes of the rules in his life. He kisses a stranger and he falls down a rabbit hole. He wants what he can give him but family won't release him or not
Would have loved seeing them get married but maybe that's for another time.. But to endure pain and feel free is way beyond me..but reading about it is interesting
