When Maddy Thorne agreed to marry her billionaire boss so he could stay in the country, she never expected to fall for him. And she certainly didn't expect that he'd fall for her. But now, it's their first February as a couple and Maddy is left with the burning question: what the hell do you get a billionaire for Valentine's day?
After a quest that sends her all around the city, reminiscing about her strange love story as she goes, Maddy wonders if she'll ever find the perfect gift. But inspiration often strikes where it's least expected...
This limited edition short novella takes place after I Married a Billionaire, but can be read as a standalone.
Melanie Marchande is the New York Times bestselling author of His Secretary: Undone. She loves sarcastic alpha billionaires, sassy curvy heroines, and pizza. Not necessarily in that order.
I loved this series and to get a further glimpse into Maddie and Daniel's hearts is amazing. This story is short but oh so hot. If I didn't already love this couple I would have fallen in love all over again. This story just shows you that love isn't a commodity to be bought and sod, but it is a connection to be shared. Great job Melanie Merchande! Just what I needed. Must Read.
This was a free kindle book. When I downloaded, I didn't read the blurb. So I got a shock when I started reading it. It is a erotica. So if you like books with the male being dominant, and the girl being submissive then you may like this one. I guess most people who read this type of book really does not care about the format. The little bit of this book that I did read, I found it to be choppy. The book did not flow.
this book was a bit hotter than the others 3 books. it was quite unexpected too and for some others reasons such as how they communicated, how she felt amd how he wish and want her understand. Submission is free but don't feel wrong and don't make it for the wrong reason. that showed how both tried hard. not only that but also for a simple gift.
Daniel and Maddie the Valentines book is about Maddie and Daniel and Maddie trying to find a present to give to Daniel but what do you buy a man who is a Billionare ?? When Maddie goes to a bookstore the owner mentions why not talk to him and get to know him but is that enough in her eyes no but isn't Valentines is a day commercialed these days but the creative Valentines are the best whether you make it create it or give something that is special to you join Mel's newletter and get this book free but honestly read her other books ... there are also a few short stories within this book so i suggest that you read it and review it .. also Jenna and Ben have a short story after the main story and another Daniel and Maddy short story as well.. to find out more and what it has buy this book or get Mel's news letter and subscribe to it and get a few short reads from Melanie ....
Didn't really like this short novella. The entire story takes place around Valentine's Day; ugh, dumbest commercial holiday ever, no my hatred of the holiday doesn't come from a failed relationship or anything, it comes from how materialistic this day has become in recent years and how thing get so overpriced around this day.
Anyway, Maddy is trying to find a gift for her hubby, except they didn't start off like normal couples, so they don't really know each other on an intimate level, so finding the perfect gift for their first V-Day is going to be huge struggle.
Well sure enough Daniel has a hard time finding a gift also, but hey its V-Day and material things aren't always the best gifts.
It's a quick read, if you like the angst of V-Day you'll probably get a kick out of this.
Quick read that only took about 30 mins to read. I went ahead and bought the trilogy set after reading this because I enjoyed the one little scene that played out in this novelette. I wanted to know the full background between these two. There seemed to be a bit of a disconnect between Maddy and Daniel. It seemed like Maddy was more attached than Daniel, but since I haven't read the first three books, there might be something behind that.
Wow! This is a great way to pass a little time with a VERY erotic short story. I have not read the original story that this was based off of, and that did not cause any trouble with understanding the background to the characters and the storyline. I guess that says a lot about the author! This is also NOT one of those awful teaser short stories that leave you with a cliffhanger.
Maddy and Daniel had a marriage of convince that has turned into something real. She is trying to decide what to get the man who has everything for valentines day. Nothing seems right. When she tries to talk to him, she realizes that she can't say what she is really feeling. Nothing seem right. How can she express what he does to her and for her? Read it to find out.
This was really good. I loved the honesty in it and the fact that they both wanted something from each other and weren't afraid to let it be known. The thought of them playing along and actually catching feelings was way more real then most of the billionaire stories out there. I'd love to read to see what happens next.
Maddy agrees to marry her boss, Daniel Thorne so he can stay in the country and not get sent back to Canada. She agrees to marriage for one year in exchange for two million dollars. Now Valentine's Day is approaching. What do you get for a billionaire? This is a short novella.
This was unexpected. It was a short erotica story which was not how the first book was written. This could be a stand alone novella or read with the series. How they communicated was very interesting!
This book is about a couple that have an understood marriage of convenience. He needs a green card and she accepted his 2 million dollar offer of 2years of marriage. She struggles with finding him a Valentine's day present, so she gives herself to him.
This was a cute, short story. I cannot stand Alice, I think she purposely gave her a bad lead but I was happy with what she did in the end, I loved what they both did for each other, I love this couple and I can't wait to read even more about them in the other two books.
This was such a good short story. It was hot and slightly different. I haven't read the series but reading this makes me what to. I like that you could read this as a stand alone book as well.
