Born as Katie Infield in Brighton, East Sussex, England on May 22 1978, I changed my last name to Price when my mother Amy remarried. I have an older brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Sophie.
Although I had many interests when I was younger, a friend suggested that I should pursue a modeling career. So I sent a few shots to an agency and was taken on. I attended loads of castings, had my fair share of negative responses then one day, in a studio next to where I was working, a model failed to turn up for a shoot. The photographer asked around if anyone would be interested in doing a topless shoot… and the rest, as they say, is history!
My topless modeling career took off in 1996 when I appeared in The Sun as part of the ‘Page 3′ pictorial. The legendary section of the tabloid features a different girl each day posing topless. I was the first topless model to grace the Page 3 for a whole week – fully dressed on a Monday, then each day revealing more and more untill Friday – full topless. The exposure boosted my career and I soon became one of the UKs most famous models, under the pseudonym ‘Jordan.’
From there on I graced many magazine front covers , not just in the UK but also across Europe. My popularity soon reached even further afield and I posed for Playboy, landing on the front cover of the September 2002 issue.
I have been through many well-publicised relationships. And my illnesses, including the removal of a tumor from one of my fingers and complications with my pregnancies and family, have been very public.
3.5 ⭐️ = Quite Good. Hardback. Well, what can I say? Absolutely hardly any storyline, predictable, with shallow characters in a fickle setting. All I can add to that is that it was decently written and I enjoyed it!😂👍🏻
Angel Summer looks as if she has found her happy ever after. She's married to the love of her life, Sexy Footballer Cal, they have a beautiful baby girl, and Angel is Britain's top glamour model. But all is not as it seems and there is heartache in store.
When Cal is transferred to AC Milan, Angel feels isolated so far away from her family and friends instead of embracing the WAG lifestyle of designer shopping and pampering. Surrounded by beautiful people, will Angel and Cal pull together or will they turn elsewhere to seek comfort? Angel's worst nightmares come to life when an old flame of Cal's comes back on the scene and suddenly Angel is fighting to save her marriage and herself...
Second time reading this and unlike Angel, I enjoyed it as much as the first time. Don't get me wrong, I'm still seeing Angel's flaws but I can't help but feel sorry for her as tries to get over postnatal depression. I know alot of Angel is based on Katie. But I wish I knew how much was fact and how much was fiction. I think Cal might be based on Pete but with a career change. Or maybe he's a mix of every boyfriend she's ever had. Who knows? I don't really like Cal but I'm not sure I agreed with Angels choice at the end of the book either.
Anyways this is a good gossipy chick lit. Filled with showbiz glamour and bitchyness. It even made me cry a little. Definitely worth a read.
The beginning of this book was slow and dragged on a bit, but after the first 150 pages it really picked up. The plot was very dramatic and fast paced, SO much happens in just one chapter. I found both Angel and Cal to be a bit annoying and selfish, but enjoyed it none the less. I think with books like these, you just have to enjoy them for what they are. Ended on a cliffhanger too, so I'm looking forward to reding what happens next.
As you might expect, this was absolute rubbish, and made for very quick reading; angel (who in their right mind would name their child angel) was pretty flat and at the same time annoying- the little I can remember about this book was that she whined. A lot. However, the bad writing and characters made it sort of glorious, if terrible, and I did enjoy it. Two stars for sheer congrats to Katie for writing a book- although she most certainly didn't write it.
Out of Katie Price's fiction books the first Angel book was the first one I read. This book alone made me want to read the others that Katie released. I enjoyed it very much and found it easy to read and enjoyed the story.I found it just as good as book 1.
The only reason why I read this book is because I'm an AC Milan fan. It was a complete waste of time, unless you are interested in footballers WAGs and their lives.

To begin with I started reading this just because the book was extremely cheap but now I regret for having paid for it at all. This book is a total time killer. There is no originality in the plot as well as in characters. Moreover characters are full of clichés. Having read the book I’ve came across the information on the Internet that this book was Ghost-written. That’s not surprise actually celebrities often do this. Not all of them are Hemmingways though. Let us start with an analysis of characters. The protagonist Angel (actually hate the names in this book. Angel Summer, Honey. Is that for real?) has married her Prince Charming in the previous book but it’s not the happily ever after she imagined. After Honey was born she suffers from postnatal depression. Angel is tormented by feeling not connected to her daughter and husband. However, as we will found out later, he cheated on her in that exact time of her depression. With her friend. There you go, Prince Charming. What is more he tries to show as a guilty one. But Angel suspected that suicide would be the best option to draw the man’s attention. I’m not trying to minimalize this action. I just don’t think that the author should do this move, should depict a suicide like something that can help to save marriage. Later on Angel meets another Prince and picks him. Characters are total clichés from head to toes. I constantly had this feeling of irritation when author tried to show Angel as a positive character because she only did boob job and other WAGs had a lot of silicone. Or because she likes to buy clothes in average shops (but not all the clothes). This is just something I can’t understand. Anyways I don’t recommend it to anyone. This book is time and brain cells killer. But if you have nothing to read at the beach it may be in hand.
Angel Uncovered is the second book in Katie Price's Angel series. I liked the story, but not as much as the first book. Angel is now married to Cal and they have a baby girl together, but life is not as rosy as it seems...
I was a little disappointed in the characters of both Angel and Cal this time around. I couldn't understand some of the decisions they decided to make and why they acted the way they did. By the end of the book I was starting to like them again, but then I was really disappointed by the ending! I will be reading the third instalment because I'd like to find out what happens to the characters and hope that it ends the way I want it to!
I give this book 3.5 stars. Although it was very good, I found the story very predictable and felt that the ending was too abrupt. I didnt connect with Angel the way I felt you were supposed to and found her annoying and bitchy. I thought the actual storyline was believable and good but the description in the book wasnt great. It was as if Katie Price had actually written this book herself and not hired a ghost writer, which I guess was probably the point. Overall it was a good book and I would advise people to read it, I recommend it as a light holiday read. 3.5/5, :D
Beginning of book was awful and I didn't really get into it much, but after a while, I really enjoyed it and wanted to know what was going to happen. Although, I thought the ending was pretty crap really, and I wanted to know more! I hope katie writes anothe angel book because I actually do feel like I'm reading an unfinished book!
Angel Uncovered was as you expected a sort of "rip-off" from the original Angel.
In saying this i mean you know all you needed to know about Angel in the first book. Katie Price didn't really need to spend her time writing the same book twice!
There isn't really much more i can comment on at this moment in time.
This is the second angel book. And I have to say I enjoyed it. Although it annoys me a little the similarities between Katie and angels life It is still a good book. It was one that I found that I wanted to carry on reading and had quite a few twists and emotional moments. All In all I would read it again one day and I am looking forward to reading paradise (angel book 3) :)
Took me a while to get into it at first but I'm glad I didn't just stop reading it! If you love lots of steamy, sexy romance, passion, fame, glamour and true love you will love this book. It also has plenty of scandals and has a thriller twist when Angel is being stalked and threatened...
I didn`t have high hopes for this book before I started reading it. The first two chapters seemed to confirm that and I debated whether to read the rest but I did get hooked and eventually couldn`t put it down. I recommend this book to anyone that wants a very quick frivilous read!
I had this book for a while and started reading it yesterday at 1pm and finished at 4am it didn't take me long to read it and have to say I love the Angel series and this book was ok but I didn't like the end felt sorry for Cal yes he cheated but he loves her and proved him self when she found out.
My guilty pleasure love a bit of Katie Price such a good easy read. i read them all the wrong way round but it didnt matter i still enjoyed them all only 3 more books to read of hers and iv read them all in 2014
Another easy beach read, but I would have liked Katie to write about something a little further from home. The characters are very clearly based on her own life. It's Jackie Collins light, trashy glitzy gossip you'll read in a weekend.
This was a great book. It had a great storyline and was very easy to follow. There was also a surprising ending which made me want to read more. The Angel series is a great read
took me 3 hours to read this book, was a christmas gift and now would like to read the rest of them...surprisngly a very good book...considering its author :) definately would recommend it :)
I found the football and WAG stuff a little boring at times. Bit I loved all the stuff in LA. I think I'm a tiny bit in lust with Ethan! Found this overall an easy and very enjoyable read
